From there, a four hour conversation ensued. They'd moved from the medbay into the living room, where Peter found his dead phone and plugged it in. They went over everything Stephen had listed, and more.
One of those things being the budget Peter had limited Tony and Stephen to when it came to decorating his room, which was 400$ at max.
"$400??" Tony sounded so insulted, "I have the power to turn your room into an amusement park without damaging my income rate in the slightest and you're dampening my powers with $400???"
"Yes! You guys don't have to deck out my room like crazy! I get it, you're rich and awesome, but all I really need are some clothes and maybe a cool bedsheet.. I can go home after all of this and get my Lego collection later, but other than that I'm all set" he shrugged, not understanding why it was such a big deal.
"We can buy you more legos! That right there! And get you some cool posters, and a nice rug for you to use those on or whatever. Another laptop! One for the lab and one for your room, and maybe even another for school. What about books? You love those—"
"There's a library right across the street from the school, and one in the school! And you forced me to take the first laptop, I'm not accepting two more! Those things are expensive!" he defended, sitting upright on the couch now.
Tony groaned in disagreement, flipping backwards onto the other end of the couch.
"I can do what I want with my money" he defended, looking towards Stephen for support.
Peter looked at him too with his own pleading expression.
"Im staying out of this one" he blocked, scrolling dully through phone.
"What? You're my husband, you're supposed to be on my side!" Tony pouted, jumping back up into a seated position.
"I never said I wasn't on your side" Stephen deflected, not looking up from his phone.
"Oh poo you" he flung his arm dismissively at Stephen, looking back at Peter, "I'll just find other ways to spoil you, you humble little bug" he squinted his eyes threateningly, pointing with the same attitude.
"Arachnid" Peter corrected smugly, folding his arms and leaning into the back of the couch, "and no you won't" he gave a cheeky grin.
"Tony, it is 11 O'clock on a Saturday" Friday informed out of the blue.
"Oh, right" he stood up, letting his hand flop disrespectfully on his husband's face as he walked by, "what do you two want to eat?"
Stephen glared up at Tony, the first time he'd looked away from his phone that entire conversation.
"Sonic." He stated challengingly.
"Wait but he's so fast" Peter whispered, "how are we gonna catch him".
"I am concerned for both of you for different reasons" Tony turned towards the two of them, "Honey buns, love of my life, beholder of most of my will, why the hell would you suggest peasant food. And sweet sweet child of whom I shall own in all good time, what the fuck" he said calmly, as if talking to a seven year old.
"Hey, rule breaker number one" Stephen kicked Tony's ankle, as he'd not passed far enough out of reach when cruising by, "that word is on the list"
