First, he passed a bed next to him, thinking of taking the blanket from it to his own, but a full two minutes of dead starring with an empty head convinced him that it was too pretty to mess up.

So he just wandered around the dark of the room, practically sleep walking at this point. It seemed that the longer he trotted around the room, the less conscious he was upright.

Soon, though, he found a really warm spot in the room. Curling up to a comfortable position, he passed out right there, basking in the warmth like a lizard. A very sexy and tired lizard. It'd be nice if everyone was a lizard.

Tony woke up to a mop of hair in his face. Groaning, he dragged his hand towards himself to push his husband's head out of his breathing hole.

As he did so, he felt another mop of hair further from the one in his face. Over the first one.

Two husbands??

He opened his eyes, seeing his husband's face silently sleeping across from him.

Okay so then.. who the hell had their hairy rat's nest up his nose?

He looked down to see a familiar shade of tangled brown.

Pulling himself back, he propped himself up to look down.

There, he was met with Peter curled up between him and Stephen.

He covered his mouth and nose with the open hand, closing his eyes in disbelief.

Reaching over the kid carefully, he tapped on his husband's shoulder softly.

Stephen began to stir, squinting in confusion. He was about to say something before Tony shushed him.

'What?' He mouthed, yawning almost immediately afterwords.

Tony moved his arm from the doctor's shoulder and pointed to the snoozing kid between them.

Stephen's eyes widened, and he looked between the two of them before also pointing at Peter.

Tony mouthed an 'I know!',  a look of disbelief, joy, and excitement running across his face.

Stephen looked fondly at Peter, a closed-lip smile forming involuntary.

The two of them looked like a comedian controlling two idiotic puppets, with how their head's exaggerated between who they were looking at, and the gaping mouths the two of them shared.

It was like watching a child look between two puppies after asking for one for months.

Pure, unfiltered excitement.

To put it simply, it was a heart warming moment.

'What do we do?' Stephen mouthed back, not wanting to move, but seeing as both of them were wide awake, it'd certainly happen eventually.

Tony thought for a moment before reaching for his phone. Holding it up to the ceiling, he took a selfie of the three of them, Stephen just rolling his eyes as he did so.

The picture was a little bit shaky because of the compromising position, but he got it.

The two of them stared at each other for a bit, the increasingly common dopey grins back in action.

Peter's head shifted.

Both of them froze like a deer 🦌 in headlights, not wanting to wake him up.

Unfortunately, once the process had started, there's no going back. Peter yawned, stretching a compacted stretch as his bones popped in awakening. He rolled onto his back.

Tony sighed a defeated sigh with a grin. It was fun while it lasted.

Stephen shifted into a similar position to his husband, propped up at his elbow so he could give Peter more room to wake up.

When Peter opened his eyes, he was met with a sight he never even dreamed of having.

Yeah, right smack in the middle of two married heroes was certainly a sight to see.

They braced themselves for any possible reaction, prepared to move to give him space or engulf him in a hug in case anything went wrong.

He looked between the two and just turned back over, closing his eyes again.

"Uhm.." Tony said quietly, expressing how utterly confused he was with just his face.

They continued to look at the sleeping teenager, before looking at each other.

"Breakfast?" Stephen suggested, tilting his head as he did so.

Tony clicked his tongue, sliding from beneath the blanket. His bare feet made contact with the cold floor, giving him a moment of regret while he adjusted to the new temperature.

"Friday, alert me when Peter wakes up" he whispered, stepping through a convenient portal into the kitchen, "actually, change all updates for Peter under my name. Pepper hasn't got a clue what's up yet" he announced louder, the portal closing behind him as he spoke up to the ceiling.

"Yes sir" she replied, no further comment needed.

"Let's make something quick since he's already out of REM" Stephen rubbed his eyes, yawning again.

Would they do this every morning once Peter was living there permanently? They'd be willing to, obviously, but they'd have to get more actual breakfast food since 90% of the meals people in this tower ate was whatever they felt like ordering on the Friday night grocery list. Also known as snacks and microwave meals, minus the few like Steve and Bruce who cherish home cooked meals of course.

Tony popped his back, nodding as the two of them shook themselves awake more. They usually spent a long time in bed chillaxing on days they didn't need to be anywhere.

Days that they actually needed to be somewhere we're usually days that Tony wasn't in the lab and Stephen wasn't running errands for Wong as an apology for the endless list of pranks Wong had bound Stephen to repayment over the years. It was essentially half an hour of chatter in the morning.

"Think he'd like cereal?" Tony yawned.

Bada bang bada boom baby

Another one bites the dust

And by that I mean another day gone before this book takes it's final chapter.

It still might be a while, but I do wanna say I've loved this journey with you all. It has certainly been a journey

Anywhoosies, I hope you all have a day that would rival that of a dog's average state of mind, otherwise I'm cursing you to the pain of being tired after a workout even if you've done nothing at all

Love you all 💛💛💛

Sincerely, someone who has girlbossed too close to the sun
