Stephen, finally who'd clued in, added his part.
"You should've said something, Peter. This is not something I'm going to allow when you're under my.. our care, Peter. Everyone on this team is obliged to the same rules, and that includes you" he explained, not understanding why Peter still wasn't listening to the talk he gave him.
Stephen thought it was pretty good ):
"Wait, I'm part of the team??" He staggered out, completely overlooking everything else said.
"Yes, why wouldn't you be?" Tony asked, surprised that Peter hadn't've come to that conclusion "you're a superhero and you're living here, are you not?"
"Wait I'm living here?!" He nearly yelled.
"He's living here??" Stephen sounded just as surprised.
"Yeah!" Tony sounded sheepishly defensive now "you've got superpowers, and we're not just gonna kick you out or something" He explained, looking at his husband slightly offended that he sounded so dumbfounded at Peter's prolonged presence "you've got nowhere else to go, right?"
"I've got nothing against it, but we haven't talked about it or done any paperwork yet" he explained, shrugging.
They were seriously letting him stay??
Like.. seriously??
Holy shit
Holy actual shit man
Peter was gonna live in the Avengers Tower.
Once that was all sorted out and over with, meaning Tony and Stephen apologized profusely while Peter insisted it was completely fine, they sat down and had another talk about how much Peter should be telling them, especially since he's a kid. The list was getting longer by the second.
"Whenever you cry, or feel like doing so" Tony added, writing it down on the list they'd started.
"Whenever your senses go off" Stephen took the paper from Tony, writing it on the sheet.
"Uh, actually can we not do that one?" Peter asked, feeling overwhelmed at the amount of things he'd been told not to talk about for years suddenly being required "it's almost always on, like, whenever someone tosses something at me or whatever, or whenever I'm in the same room as Thor" he explained.
Tony raised an eyebrow at that last line, but he scribbled it out anyways.
"Okay, how about whenever it feels dangerous or foreshadowing" Tony edited verbally, sliding the paper back towards himself and jotting it down.
"Whenever you get bored" Stephen added.
Peter have a confused look, and Tony laughed.
"He already does that to me" he joked.
"Yeah, but probably not always. Look at him" Stephen gestured to Peter "he doesn't say what's on his mind often enough. Kids need enrichment or something, we oughta give him that even if we gotta force it out of him" he jested, giving a slight grin.
