Chapter Six

*Harry's POV*

My heart was pounding as I ran through the park, my curls submerged under the tightness of my beanie as I slowed my run to a jog. This was the only way I could get to sleep lately, if i wore myself out. My days had started to become longer and longer over the past weeks. My life consisting of nothing but recording and late nights. My dreams had became swarmed with a set of eyes. Grey eyes, with light green flecks in them. Eyes that held a secret.

Leigh's eyes.

Chills ran up my spine at the thought of her. The fire in my chest igniting.

I hated it.

This feeling of absolute adoration of a woman I knew nothing about.

But yet the sheer thought of not knowing made my chest hurt.

Shaking the thoughts from my head I sped up again, my eyes suddenly locking on a figure that was running about ten feet ahead.

It was a woman, her dark tousled hair swung with her as she ran.

That hair.

My heart sped up at the realization, causing me to jog forward catching up with the girl.

Only to realize that it was her.

Leigh.

"Fancy meeting you here." I said as I jogged next to her. Jeez harry. "Fancy meeting you here?" I silently face-palmed myself mentally. As I waited for her reply.

"Hey.." She said simply...her eyes remaining ahead. Another sign of how she refused to awknowledge my exsistence.

I jogged next to her in silence for a few moments.

"How are you?" I said cautiously, realizing that maybe this was a hopeless effort.

She stopped suddenly, surprising me. Finally giving me the beauty of her eyes as she locked on me.

"Good, And you?" She said looking down at the ground awkwardly. I sat on the nearby bench motioning her to sit next to me. Her eyes hesitant as she gazed at me. Finally she nodded sitting as a far away as possible on the small bench. Her delicate hands folded in her lap.

"Im- better." I said simply instantly regretting the words as they left my mouth.

Her hands froze. Her eyes hardening as she quirked her eye brows questioningly.

"I -" I started to explain only to be cut off by the ringing of her phone.

"one sec."

"Hello?" she asked into the phone getting up and stepping a few feet away from me.

My eyes raked up and down her body as she paced in front of the bench. Her long legs moving gracefully as she walked.

"UGH!"

I was broken from my daze by the sudden out burst from her. It was probably the most emotion I had ever heard from her.

"hmm?" I asked quietly.

"This stupid baby sitter is canceling last minute and if i skip work again there no way I'm not fired and ugh!" She explained this quickly her words meshing together passionately. Her eyes finally having a certain spark in them.

"Ill watch her." I said suddenly. Shocked by my own words. What was I getting myself into?

"Absolutely not." She hissed. Her eyes becoming hard as steel once again. Locking me out from her emotion.

"Come on. Isa adores me. What could happen?" I Challenged her.

She paused, her eyes casted downwards as she fiddled with her hands.

"Leigh.." I pushed. Standing now as I ducked my head lower so I could see her eyes.

She stepped back shaking her head.

"Fine, but we need to head back now. Come on." She mumbled running again.

I paused.

Wait?

She was letting me in her house?

I suddenly became ecstacic, my feet racing to catch up with her.

We had made progress. Actual progress. The fire in my chest began to burn intensely. My body feeling lighter. I couldn't even understand the feeling. But maybe, just maybe Liam was right.

Maybe it was fate.
