Okay so a lot of you are really confused or just didn't like the ending that's fine you all have your own opinion.
The reason I ending it with Derek dying was because that's the ending that Meredith had the dream of when she did the candle house (4x17 and 5x1). So I was incorporating that into a fanfic, a 'what if Derek did die in 5x1'. I do actually have an extended ending that will be coming out this week. So you can at least be happy with the ending, and you can choose how you would like the ending.
In the extended ending Derek won't be dead and you will find out who is pregnant, however it was meant to be a cliffhanger.
The chapter 'traitor' is a past tense chapter to explain what happened between Meredith and Derek and why they are always arguing I apologise for not making that clear.
