Mmm health stuffp

Start from the beginning

He stood up to go, but was cushioned by the cloak yet again interrupting his decent to the floor.

"Uhm.. blanket? I kind of need to be able to be on the floor to go to the restroom" he tried soothingly letting the thing, who thankfully (and carefully) released him to the floor.

Once he was on his own to feet again (which btw, felt like static), he waited for Cloakie to leave the room.

Cloakie did not.

This led to a wrestling match between a kid and a flying cape, inevitably ending in Peter shoving the red thing out of the room and closing the door. Enduring possibly one of the most uncomfortable restroom breaks of his life, Peter tried not to think about how the cloak was scratching at the bottom of the door like a desperate cat going through a divorce.

Once all was over and done, he washed his hands singing to Tony's dance song from many chapters back, and slowly opened the door.

Cloakie scooped him up like it was grabbing a football, flipping him carefully but swiftly back into his laying position from before, and zooming back to the room.

Peter couldn't tell if he was uncomfortable or having a good time now, essentially receiving a free and involuntary roller coaster ride around a billionaire mansion.

Arriving back in the starter room, Peter waited for Stephen to return.

After nearly 10 minutes of waiting, he pulled out his phone and clicked on a vine compilation, hoping to pass the time.

It did the trick, and the wizard walked in to a face full of "FRE SHA VA CA DO".

"What're you watching there, kiddo" Stephen asked, putting on his gloves and sorting the supplies they'd left there not too long ago.

"Vines" Peter replied absently, eyes not leaving the screen.

"Mind if I start?" The surgeon asked, realizing that having the kid distracted might help the process.

Peter just nodded, not even wanting to look back down at himself.

Understanding the lack of chattiness now (which Stephen wouldn't lie, he was particularly grateful for, despite being the initiator of all of their previous conversations that day), he slowly moved his hands onto injury number five in order not to startle Peter from sudden spike-to-skin contact.

The next few hours were spent in a refreshing verbal silence from the two, neither feeling the need to chat to keep the other occupied. Peter, flipping between apps and occasionally updating Tony on the progress they were making, and Stephen, thankful that starting on the hardest parts just made it easier to do the next ones.

Through more frequent breaks, and lots of water/food intake, Peter was surprisingly much less sore than he thought he'd be. Stephen commented on how he must've overestimated some of the damage done, thanks to an entire day's worth of sterilized needle poking time to at least allow his skin to close up.

"How's that" Stephen stepped away from the kid, who was laying on his stomach for addressing the hits in the back.

Peter paused the video he was on, trying to peek over his shoulder to see.

Stephen just made a portal for his face float above his back, surprising Peter on being met with his own back.

Trying to suppress the shock and excitement (and near-disappointment, for his first use of the legendary portals by his own free will being to look at how screwed up his life was in real-time), Peter admired the handiwork of the doctor next to him.

"You did a good job" he complimented, never actually getting to experience a real doctor's work on himself.

(Y'all, I realized I screwed up a bit around here, please don't diss me for my lack of medical knowledge now lmao. Ik it's best to stitch it up in the first 24 hours, not later, and I've learned some time-frames and words I did not know before, along with how stupid I am, ect etc, but I'm too lazy to add it in lol. Bear with me here, it's been a long month already)

"Thank you" Stephen smiled professionally, texting Tony it was over, "you should get some rest now".

Peter didn't want to argue. That took much longer than he thought it would, even without every cut needing stitches. He was utterly exhausted.

Peter lied down, not wanting to sleep till Tony got there, but also not wanting to hurt Stephen's feeling somehow by accidentally showing his discomfort.

So, he just waited.

Little did he know, Tony was off on his own night-night mission.

BAM.

Yes, it's been a while, but hey! I made it double the size as normal.

The past few weeks have been stressful, as some of you know lmao (especially very recently), so I have been avoiding a lot of stuff I find fun to get them done and to not fall into unbreakable habits again so I can finish other things.

Anywhoosies, I hope you're all having a wonderful day, or I'm removing Arcane from Netflix 💛💛💛

I love you all and hope you have a good time (again, apologizes for the life story down here)

Sincerely, someone who's being medically instructed to lie down for a while (.:
