CHAPTER SEVENTY-SIX

"UNCLE, I'm really thankful for your gift!" masayang wika ko kay Uncle.

"You're welcome again, my sweet princess," malambing niyang ani sa'kin.

"I'll make this resort grow, Uncle. I promise!" puno ng kumpiyansa at kaseryosohan kong pangako sa kanya.

"I know you will, Princess. You will..."

Inaantay kasi namin ang sunrise I want to watch it. After what happened last night, Kuya Ivan never let me go in the shore alone.

We have our own villa here. It's a two story house with eight rooms upstairs and 3 room downstairs for the helpers. It's a huge house and the interior is so beautiful. May halong modern and old Spanish interior ang bahay. Na maganda naman. I feel like I'm Spanish Era or house.

I also have my own room and my own library full of books about mythology, aliens, romance book that I don't think I would read, books of poems, tragic stories, and vampire stories. When I say there's a lot of books. There's a lot of books.

"Where is Kuya by the way?" tanong ko dito ng mapansing hindi ko pa nakikita si Kuya.

Tumigil si Uncle sa paghigop ng kape. "He's in the kitchen. Cooking our breakfast later," sagot niya.

"He can cook?!" hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko.

Uncle chuckle and he look at me with amusement. "Of course, my sweetheart, he can. When we're in Spain he cooks a lot there. He have a secret restaurant where he cooks when his tired from work."

"Really?"

"Yes. He didn't say it to me but I know it. He's my son," he proudly say.

I forced myself to smile. "N-nothing. I'm just adoring you and your bond with Kuya. You really know and love him. I envy him. His father love him so much. You love him so much that I never felt with my own father," my voice are almost cracking in the end.

His lips parted for what I said. I've come to my senses. Why I said that?!

"I-I know... I should not—"

"I'm treating you like my own daughter now, Klyzene... you can treat me like your father. I will love you like how I love him," he said softly.

I'm a stranger and he just said it like nothing?

"Are you kidding me, Uncle?" mahina at natatakot kong tanong.

"What? I'm not Klyzene.

"P-pardon?"
