"Shall we dance m'lady?" JJ said, lifting their hand above his head and looking down at the bikini clad June. She giggled as he spun her, his sunglasses sliding down to the tip of his nose as he watched her dance. He spun her one more time, pulling her back so that she had her back pressed against his chest, her head turning as he did so. He raised his eyebrows at her, leaning down and giving her a quick kiss on the lips before rolling her back out and letting go.
They all continued to party and laugh, smiles on their faces as they spent time together. JJ lifted June over his shoulder while she was talking to Kie, the brunette screeching as she was thrown onto his back. Before he could set her down in the hot tub she reached down, squeezing his ass with her hand and making her jump. She let out a hysterical laugh as he dropped her into the tub, his eyes wide as he went to run at the spot that she had squeezed. Everyone else laughed with her, all of them laughing at a red faced JJ.
June watched as they all had fun, a smile coming over her lips as she felt her heart warm. She loved them all, more than they could ever understand. Another thought occurred to her, June feeling a twinge of sadness at the fact that her family did nothing to deserve her absence. Unfortunately she dwelled on the thought, her mood immediately going down hill as they all laughed and cut up. She faked a smile everytime someone said something, the girl laughing along at their jokes as she wished she could go home. She just wanted to go home.
"Come over here June!" Sarah shouted from the fire where all of them were heading. She nodded, pushing herself out of the hot tip water and making her way towards a chair. The boys were wrestling, June laughing along as Pope beat JJ in a fight. She felt her heart clench as JJ made his way over to her after, a smile on his lips as he looked at her with such love and adoration that she couldn't help but feel guilty for not being happy.
Kie stood from her chair, following after Pope and making even June shake her head.
"Really?" Sarah yelled after her, the girl turning to shaking her head in June's direction with a look of disbelief.
"Way to be discreet!" JJ said, looking to John B who spoke next.
"I leave, and this is what happens."
"Are you blaming me?" JJ asked, pointing to himself.
"Just a little bit. Uh-oh. Your boys out. Beer time."
"You guys are the ones that died okay?"
"Literally one job JJ." Sarah chimed in, pointing to JJ. June laughed at that, JJ shaking his head at the two girls as he looked down.
"Okay..."
"No Pogue on Pogue macking!"
"One job? Sarah, one job!" JJ said, his eyes going to John B who was standing by the tree. He excused himself, leaving Sarah and June to themselves. Sarah was quick to turn to June, a look of concern on her face as she had very much noticed her strange mood.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothings wro-"
"I'm not stupid. Tell me what's wrong June..."Sarah said, grabbing the brunettes hand and giving her a reassuring smile. June sighed, returning the smile as she looked down at their hands.
"I wanna go home." She admitted out loud, Sarah nodding her head. In a way she related, she wanted to go back to her home, to everything she knew. But in June's case her family members weren't murderers or thieves, they were just family.
"Hey! No sadness and no sour moods! We're having a good time." JJ said, walking over to his girlfriend and putting an arm around her shoulders. He shifted, picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder once again. She couldn't help but laugh, her hand going to squeeze his butt again. He was smarter this time, jumping around so that she couldn't get to it.
"Be happy!" He yelled, dropping her to the ground. She landed with a thud, groaning as he dropped down beside her, a grin on his lips. She stared up at the stars for a second before, sitting up and leaning over JJ, pushing blonde hair from his face.
"Woah June. John B and Sarah are right there." JJ said, noticing the look in her eyes as she hovered above him. She shrugged, closing her eyes and pressing a kiss to his lips. He returned it joyfully, his hands immediately finding her waist as they breathed each other in. She let her hand run across his chest under his shirt, a contented sigh leaving her lips as she felt his skin. This was all she had wanted.
"Disgusting! Please! Not on the grass guys!" John B said, throwing his empty beer can at the two teens on the ground. June groaned as she pulled back from the kiss, JJ whining as he dropped his head back to the ground.
"There was still beer in that you idiot!" June said, pushing herself up from the ground and running towards John B. She tried to tackle him, John B cackling as he wrapped his arms around her, lifting her off of the ground and throwing her over his own shoulder now. Sarah laughed as she watched them, June yelling for him to put her down.
They all stopped as the HMS Pogue left the shore, John B pulling June off of his shoulder and placing her back on her feet by her waist.
"Oh! All right!" JJ yelled, all of them laughing as they'd realized what that meant.
"Have a good time!" Sarah shouted, waving from her spot on the chair.
"I cant believe it." June said, shaking her head.
"There he goes. He jacked your boat dude." JJ informed John B, the other boy watching as Pope and Kie made their escape.
"Popes poking on the Pogue." John B said, shaking his head in disbelief.
"You should probably-" The sound of a car door closing made June, John B and Sarah turn their heads, June eyebrows furrowing as she wondered who could be here.
"Wait, wait, wait,wait,wait, wait." John B said,grabbing JJs arm as he looked toward where the noise came from.
"What was that?"
"Your chicken?" JJ deadpanned.
"I heard a car door." JJ began to cluck, June worrying a little more as she heard a rustle come from the side of the house. JJ stopped clucking, his smirk dropping as he immediately looked towards the noise. There was one more rustle, John B sprinting into action and putting out the fire, pressing a finger to his lips as he pointed at the tree.
"Let's go."
