G-et into God's Word

Psalm 39:1-7

'I said, "I will watch my ways and keep my tongue from sin; I will put a muzzle on my mouth while in the presence of the wicked." So I remained utterly silent, not even saying anything good. But my anguish increased; my heart grew hot within me. While I meditated, the fire burned; then I spoke with my tongue: "Show me, Lord, my life's end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You have made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure. "Surely everyone goes around like a mere phantom; in vain they rush about, heaping up wealth without knowing whose it will finally be. "But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you. '

R-eflect into God's Word

Not all people who battled is a soldier. Even we are simple people, we also had our personal battle in life. Different aspects and situations.
In the midst of our battle, some would say to God like this: 'Lord, if you save me from this, I'll go to Seminary and study your word to preach' or 'Lord, if you save me from this, I'll do my best to follow and serve you'
That question sometimes is a way for you to come to the Lord and your battle/situation you are in is a challenge for your to trust and have hope in Him.
We are called a warrior who succeed this battle.

Another warrior has also endured a different kind of crises that drove him to God, As King's David troops fought the Ammonites, David was back at his palace casting more than just a glance at another man's wife (2 Samuel 11).
In Psalm 39, David chronicles the painful process of restoration from the terrible sin that resulted (v.2-3). His broken spirit caused him to reflect in v.4. Amid his renewed focus, David didn't despair. He had nowhere else to turn (v.7). David would survive this personal battle and go on to serve God.

O-bey to transform

Now ask yourselves, what motivates our prayer life? does it matter as much as the focus of our prayer? God is our source of hope. He wants us to share our hearts with Him.

W-restle in Prayer

Share your battle with God, He knows what battle you are in and you can lean on Him to have strength facing your battle.
