"Lexie Martin," he started, and that's when I saw the name on the desk, 'Gerard Argent' oh this is not good, that's the name Sabrina mentioned, so I'm guessing this is Allison's grandfather. "You skipped third grade is that correct?"

"Yes sir," I nodded, I could feel both of their eyes burning into the sides of my head.

"Hmm, an exceptional IQ score of 150, president of the debate team and the academic triathlon team. Fluent in Latin, German and French. You're a very talented young lady," I spotted Stiles' mouth drop in the corner of my eye, they act as if they know nothing about me. It's just that I don't share everything.

"Thank you," I smiled awkwardly, am I supposed to be taking compliments from this guy, I mean supposedly he's like the definition of evil.

"Scott McCall. Academically not the most accomplished, but I see you have become quite the star athlete." he turned to Stiles, "Mr. Stilinski. Oh, perfect grades but little to no extracurriculars. Maybe you should try lacrosse."

"Oh, actually I'm already-,"

"Hold on. McCall. You're the Scott that was dating my granddaughter." Gerard cut Stiles off and delved deeper into Scott's personal life.

"We were dating but not anymore. Not dating, not seeing any of each other or doing anything with each other...At all." oh god, yeah and you totally didn't just give away the fact that you two are still seeing each other.

"Relax, Scott, you look like you're about to crack a cyanide pill with your teeth."

"Just a hard breakup."

"Oh, that's too bad. You seem like a pretty nice kid to me. Now listen, guys. Yes, I am the principal, but I really don't want you to think of me as the enemy."

"Heh, is that so?" Stiles muttered to me under his breath, or at least so Gerard couldn't hear.

"However, this being my first day, I do need to support my teachers. So unfortunately someone is going to have to take the fall and stay behind for detention. And of course, Miss Martin, we'll take about this project of yours."

After I had that really uncomfortable conversation with our new principal, I headed home. Lydia was in her room, painting her toenails, and my mom was nowhere to be seen. So thankfully, I was gonna have some peace and quiet. Then my phone began to ring and I couldn't help but groan as I picked up,

"Hey Allison, what is it?" I answered the phone, halfway through studying for a test I have next week. I know, why am I even studying for it now? Because it's an important test.

"I need you to come over, like now," it sounded urgent, and not only that, but I am usually the last person Allison would call in an emergency.

"Okay, I'm coming." I slammed my book shut and grabbed my things before heading out. I wonder why she needed to talk to me? And then all the possibilities came flooding into my head, about Isaac and Lydia and what the Argent's were planning. I needed to get to Allison's fast.

"Hey, what is it?" I asked as she shut the door tight behind me, making sure none of her family heard me come in.

"We need to do something, like right now. They were asking me questions about Lydia and Peter and the 'bite', and they've sent someone out," my eyes widened as a response, they're after Lydia? Oh no.

"What?"

"Some guy, dressed as a deputy," undercover, to the sheriff's station. That only means one thing.
