Peter really wanted to go now. Meeting the avengers?? (Or workmates of Tony, never specified). Having dinner with them?? Finally finding out the mysterious guy Tony had married???? At this point Peter considered sucking it up and going. So what, he can say he twisted his ankle or something, there's no way a team of superheroes and super spies could figure out what was happening..
