Don't Feel Like We're Faking (Rini week #2 6)

Nini and Ricky are both singer/songwriters, and pretty well know they both have a lot of fans and many of them overlap. They've both heard a lot about the other but have never actually met.

Nini got a text from her Manager, Jenn.

When Nini arrived at her meeting Ricky was already there. She immediately recognized him because she was once one of his biggest fans. She used to post covers of her singing his songs on YouTube. On the same YouTube channel where her label found the videos of her singing her original songs and signed her.

"Nini this is Ricky Bowen, Ricky this is Nini Salazar-Roberts" Benjamin said. "Nice to meet you," Ricky said, shaking her hand. "Nice to meet you too," she responded.

"So let's cut to the chase. Me and Benjamin think it would be a good idea if you two made a collab song" Jenn started. "I'd be down for that" Ricky said leaning back in his chair. "Yeah sure sounds good to me." Nini agreed.

"That's not all," Jenn said. "Once the song is out we want you to pretend to date for about 6 months to drum up some good publicity."

Nini didn't know what to say, she had just got out of a very serious, very public relationship and if her fans saw her with a new guy what would they think of her. But on the other hand she could get back at her two timing, backstabbing, dick of an ex boyfriend and show him that she doesn't need him.

"I'm fine with it. My fans will be happy i'm in a relationship" Ricky said casually, like he didn't even really care. "Let me sleep on it and I'll get back to you" Nini said standing up and walking out of the room.
