Keith had been coughing for the past few days and you could tell he felt terrible.
"Sounds like pneumonia" you tell him as you serve him lunch. He nods
"it feels like it" he says weakly sounding raspy and weak.
"We'll go to the doctor later to see." You tell him. He nods in agreement.
Later at the doctor
The doctor looks him over and checks his lungs.
Doc: "yep that's pneumonia it's not super bad but I've got medicine for him to help."
The doctor writes up a prescription for him and you and Keith head to the pharmacy to pick up the medicine then you head home.
Later that day.
You give him his medicine and water. He takes it and then lays down in bed.
You smile and kiss him.
He smiles weakly and tries to fall asleep. You stroke his hair and watch him sleep.
Later that evening.
Keith eats his dinner in between bouts of coughing. You frown as you eat dinner with him.
After dinner you help him take his medicine then get him to bed.
After awhile on the medication, rest and TLC from you he got better.
