Why does my heart always twitch whenever I see him walking away from me?

"Nicholas!" I said out loud at the drop off area of the hotel.

He turned and looked at me. "Yeah?" He said.

He looked so cool.

Why haven't I seen him as cool before?

I gathered my courage and said the first thing that comes in my mind, "Would you like to have dinner with me?"

He looked at me with his thoughtful gaze.

He will say no.

He has a girlfriend for chrissake!

I must have taken too much of his time today.

"It's okay, you don't have to say yes, I was just wondering..." I started to blabber nonstop when he spoke.

"Okay." He said simply.

"...okay?" That halted my nonsense chatter.

Why is my heart beating wildly?

"Okay!" I repeated with conviction this time as I beamed.
