Your family are very protective over you, you are the youngest sibling for a start. You know that all they want to do it make sure no one hurts you in any way and that you are happy. But it has stopped you from telling them bout your current boyfriend.

Who is notorious for being evil and killing his entire family in order for power, he is like one of your brothers in many ways so in theory they should get a long. But your family have never met Kai but you know they hate him because thy ruined one of my brothers many plans which involved the Petrova doppelgänger. As you may have guesses by now, you are Y/n Mikaelson, younger sibling of Bekah, Kol, Elijah and of course Klaus. (I'm only using these four in this story I hope you guys don't mind).

Every guy you took home they would be interrogated by Nik and Kol, Elijah would try and stop them but would end up joining in and Bekah would either make a move or scare him off. Kai, he was different, you were falling for him hard. You were the happiest you have been in your eventful, long life and you didn't want your idiotic siblings to ruin it. You felt that this was special. So you kept it a secret. You always lied whenever you were hanging out with him, you always said you were staying with Camille if you ever wanted to spend the night together. She went a long with it because y9u guys were really close and she could see how happy you were together.

Today

You were packing up a suitcase for a weekend away to Vail for a wee ski trip to celebrate your 6 month anniversary. You had a cover up plan saying you were going on a spa trip away on your own. You had the finishing touches when you got a call from Camille, you picked up
"Hey Cam whats" you got cut of by a frantic Camille
"Y/n! Something bad has happened. Kai was just at the car and he left his phone behind and Klaus walked in and he picked it up to hand it to the lost and found and he saw Kai's lock screen of the two of you and he is pissed off"
"Fuck" you say kicking the chair at you desk breaking
"He's gone to track down Kai and kill him then he says he's coming for you. Y/n I'm so sorry!!" You have your hands on your head in frustration
"Camille calm down it isn't your fault you didn't do anything wrong. Do you have any idea where he is?" You say
"No!! He just stormed off" and you left out an anguished cry
"Ok, I've got to go try and save Kai. If either of them come back call me" you say and he says yes. You hang up throwing your phone against the wall almost breaking it
"What's the fuck am I supposed to do?" You shout to your self.

Then you hear the front door slam open.
"Y/N MIKAELSON COME DOWN HERE RIGHT NOW" you hear Nik's voice boom. You speed down stairs and see your brother covered in your boyfriends blood and your boyfriend lying in the floor bloodied.
"Oh my god" you say going to run to him but Nik grabs your arm
"When were you going to tell me your are dating the disgusting excuse for a man?" He says and you try and get out of his grip
"He has ruined my plans and lost me a lot of followers, he is the enemy. How do you think I would react when I find out my sister is dating him?" He says then turning back to Kai
"You had the balls to date my sister. Well you are wrong I am going to wish you have never been born for daring to lay a finger on her" Nik says going in for another punch but Kai suddenly disappears
"Come out you coward" he shouts which makes you scared because you have never seen Nik this angry. Kai suddenly appears next you, Niklaus goes towards you but you stand I between them
"Nik please, don't hurt him" you say trying to stop him but he wasn't listen

"Klaus, I know you hate my for "ruining your plans" but I care about your sister so much. She makes the happiest man in the world" he starts and you can see Nik anger boiling but he's ring to listen
"Nik?" You say taking his arms
"Nik, Kai has been nothing but a gentlemen to me and has treated me with nothing but kindness . He has made the the happiest person in the world. I care about him so much. Please please please, let me be happy" you say but he zooms past you and pins Kai to the wall.

"You know what Klaus? I do t care what you think. I care for your sister and I care about her too much to stop seeing her because of her overprotective bastard of a brother" Kai spits in Niks face
"What is stopping me from killing you right now?" He says his hybrid eyes flashing
"BECAUSE I AM INLOVE WITH YOUR SISTER. OK I LOVE HER. I LOVE HER. I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU THINK BECAUSE I AM SO DESPERATELY HOPELESSLY IN LOVE WITH YOUR SISTER IT CAUSES ME PHYSICAL PAIN AT HTE THOUGHT OF NOT BEING WITH HER" he says pointing at you. You stand there shocked, tears threatening to fall. This shocks Nik, he lets go of Kai and looks to you
"You love me?" You say and he nods. Your hand goes over your mouth. This is the first time he has said this. Nik sees your face then turns back to Kai
"You dare hurt her, I will not hesitate to rip you apart limb from Limb. I don't like you in the slightest but you make my sister happy so I am going to let it slide but. I'm watching" Nik says he goes to you kissed your forehead then leaves the room just leaving you and Kai.

"That's the first time you said that" you say and he walks to you and takes your hands
"I meant every word, Y/n Mikaelson. I am utterly head over heels in love with you, I cannot imagine my life without you in it now you make me the happiest man in the world. You are the light in my very dark life" he says and you kiss him with so much passion
"I love you to Kai Parker. So much" you say kissing him again.
"Even though your brother is a Klaus Mikaelson And is the devil incarnate" he says smirking making you slap his arm and shoving him over
"I love you!" He says and you say
"Uh huh" smirking back as you head upstairs to your room.
