"Come on it'll be a laugh" Elena says as you both sit down in a booth at the grille "No, you guys don't even like him so why should we sit through that" I say taking sip of my coke "I like him" she says not convincingly. I roll my eyes "Tell me 1 thing you like about him then" I say waiting "I like that he makes you happy, you are my best friend and you deserve that" she says and I sigh "About Him" I say again and she rolls her eyes this time "If you say one nice thing about him, I'll do it" you say knowing you are going to regret it "I like the fact that even though his family treated him horribly he is still as strong as he is" she says which makes me smile "Ok I'll tell him" you say and she lets out a squeal "Ok we will go to the nice Italian down the street, meet us there at 7?" I nod as Damon comes up to join our booth "What are you two lovely ladies talking about" he says and Elena kisses him in the cheek "Tonight we are going on a double date with y/n and Kai" she says and Damon lets out a grown "Hey don't you grown, I didn't want to do this either so you better play nice" I say hitting his hand and he sighs putting an arm around Elena . "Ok, only because I love you" he says and I nod standing up "I better go break the news"
You walk back to your house about to call Kai to tell him to come over when arms slip around your waist, your about to scream when you get turned around to see your boyfriend "Hey there" he says and you breath a sigh of relief "You scared the shit out of me" you say and he leans in and kisses you "sorry hun, I wanted to surprise you" he says and you smile wrapping your arms around his neck "I also have a surprise, we are going on a double date. Yay" you say faking excitement and you see his face fall "With who?" He says "Damon and Elena" you say and he groans "why" "They said they would play nice, and if they don't we will leave and I'll make it up to you" to say as you step back and take off your jumper to reveal a rather revealing top. You see the the smirk on his face grow. "Will you now?" He says as he steps forward sand his hands go in the back pocket of your jeans. You nod but when he leans in you put a hand on his mouth and say "We need to get ready so we can do that stuff later" you say and he groans. You head up stairs so you can get ready and he leaves to head to his house to get ready.

You just finished putting on a pink nude lip and you hear your door open "Gorgeous, you nearly ready?' He says and you grab your bag and you head down stairs, when you get there you see your boyfriend in a smart suit "Well hello handsome" you say kissing him and he smiles "Only trying to keep up with you" he says as he takes your hand and you drive to the restaurant . When you park you both walk towards the doors hand in hand then you take a breath "You ready?" You say and he sighs "Lets just say I'm going to try really hard not to burn them to the ground" he says and you could feel his hands getting warmer and you squeeze them. You nod and you both walk in look around to see them sitting on a table so you both head over to the table. "You guys made it" Elena says smiling at the two of you "Unfortunately" Kai says causing you stomp on his foot and you both sit down.
