You and Malakai Parker have been dating for a year now and you couldn't be happier. At first you friends weren't to happy with it he made you happier than you've ever been so it made them happy. Like Kai you had grown up in an abusive household so you knew what he had been through. You have helped each other deal with your demons so you are really close.
You guys are likes two pieces in a jigsaw puzzle, you get in so well and you have a lot in common, you also like to pull pranks on other people a lot. You have pranked your friends a lot, like pretending Kai either turned you, or killed you. Surely by now they would understand it is a prank but they fall for it every time, for once in your life you were truly happy.
You also realise that Kai is very good looking and that whenever you go out together he will get stairs from other girls, it did bother you when you first started dating but you he loves you so you try to not let it bother you. You had a really busy week with work and when you arrived home you out your bag down and was ready to collapse on the sofa but you were gently turned around to face your boyfriend and he kissed you then grabbed your hand and started to walk out the door "what're you doing, Kai I'm tired" you said trying to pull away but he was a lot stronger "come on, we are going to celebrate" he says opening your car door winking

then speeds round and gets in the driver's seat "but I've been wearing these clothes all day I haven't showered and I feel disgusting" "you look beautiful as always but we are celebrating your promotion and me having a successful day of messing with Damon and Stefan" you laugh "hey stop tormenting my friends ok, I don't want them to go back to wanting us to break up" " It's my only source of fun whilst you away, but I will stop for you" you go on to chat for a bit as you pull up to a restaurant "Kai you really didn't, I would be fine with a take away on the couch" as you both get out the car "but that wouldn't be any fun now would it" he said grabbing your hands and leading you into the restaurant.
You spent the rest of the night chatting joking around and drinking a lot of champagne . The waitress you had get trying to flirt with him and throwing herself at him, he was ignoring her but she was getting on your nerves. You excuse yourself after you were ordering dessert to go the the bathroom. When you start walking back to your table you look to find the waitress sitting in your seat you start to laugh. When you reach the table you pick up your glass of champagne "hi there, sorry to interrupt but I think your in my seat" she looks at you with a disgusted expression "it was empty when I got here, and I didn't want to leave this handsome man all alone so if you don't mind" she lifts her hand and does the shoo-ing motion. You start to laugh "oh I'm sorry I didn't realise you were a princess. Can you please just get out my seat" trying to be as nice as you can but you have had enough so you don't know how much longer if this you can handle "it's my seat now so if you could please leave, I'm the middle of a conversation" she turns back and you have had enough "right lady I'm sorry that you are desperate enough to sit with another girls boyfriend and try and flirt with him just because no one will go out with you and you will be alone forever.And that you think by unbuttoning your top and leaning over him will get you his number but those tricks are all old as your extensions and if you haven't noticed they are not working" the whole time Kai is sitting there smiling whilst the girl is sitting there stunned, I think there might even be some tears
