Yes, you and Nik broke up a few months ago but it still hurt seeing him and with his new obsession Caroline. Why it hurt so much was because you knew he was cheating in you with her for the last few weeks you were dating. Yet, you still trusted him to stop doing that because he loved you but you were clearly wrong. Everything you didn't believe about him when you were dating you now believe. You open the door "Lijah, I'm here" you say and he walks down the stairs "Hello y/n" he says as he kisses your cheek. You both walk to the living room and you pore a drink for both of you "Where is the little fucker"you say as you hand him a drink and he laughs slightly "He is off probably getting into a quarrel with someone and no doubt I will have to clean up whatever mess he causes" he says as his jaw clenches. You sit next to him "Why do you keep living like this, you are always clean up after your family and not living for yourself. You need to be selfish sometimes" you say stroking his arm. He nods and turns to you "I have thought about that for so long but things always keep getting in the way" "By things do you mean Nik" you say and he smiles and nods "always standing in way of what I desire" he says as his eyes flicker to your lips "it seems you and me have in common a dislike for my brother" he says as he turns to you again and looks into your eyes "I think we both need to give him a taste of revenge" you say and he smirks slightly "What did you have in mind" he says looking between your eyes and your lips again and you look down slightly "Look, I know you probably will think I am only doing this to get back at him but I'm not. I want to do this" you say still avoiding eye contact. He gently puts a finger on your chin to lift your head up so your looking at him "If I'm right in what you're implying." he starts to say as his eyes flicker to your lips again and yours do the same. Then you both lean in at the same time and share a slow passionate kiss which turns into a full on make out session. You lean back so you are lying in the couch and he hovers above you. You pull apart to catch your breath "Wow" you say and he nods.
"If you haven't been able to tell I have wanted you for a long time" he says slightly breathless causing me to smile
"I tried to deny it but I feel the same" I say causing him to smile
"Shall we head up stairs?" He says picking you up bridal style and you smile "Such a gentleman" "I try" he says and he speeds you both upstairs.
Later that evening you are both lying in his bed wrapped in each other's arms "I don't want to move, let's stay here forever" you say cosying in to him "No matter how tempting that is I want to make you dinner" he says kissing you then getting up and put some pants and trousers back on "You're so sweet" you say and he flashes you a smile. "Can I ask you something?" he says sitting in the edge of the bed, you nod moving closer. "Y/n, I know we briefly mentioned this earlier but just to clarify I have had feelings for you since you started seeing my brother, I care for you deeply. This meant something to me and I was wondering what did it mean for you?" You smiles grabbing his hands "Elijah Mikaelson, I have liked you for a long time, my feelings for you grew more every time me and Nik drifted apart. This meant a lot for me too. Getting revenge was just a bonus" you say and he leans in again and you share a sweet kiss. He stands up again "Come on, let's make dinner" you stand up "Let me put something on quickly and I'll come down". He nods and smiles and heads down stairs. You quickly put on your bra and underwear. You look round to find your top and you see Elijah's shirt on the ground and you decide just to put that on. Once you fixed yourself up you head down stairs and as you reach the bottom , the front doors open and Nik walks in and he looks at you with disheveled hair and a oversized shirt. "Why are you here dressed like that?" He says his eyes traveling "Hey stop looking at me like that, your not allowed anymore and also it is none of your business" you say. Nik stands there looking slightly shocked and you see his eyes wonder to the side and you turn to see Elijah walking towards us shirtless. "Niklaus" he says walking next to you and Nik looks from you to him "you two?" He says "Yes, do you have a problem?" you say "My brother really?" He says and you stand there shocked "I'm sorry but my life is no concern of yours and you are the last person to judge" you say and you grab Elijah's hands and you walk back into the kitchen. "Brother a word" Nik says and He stops "Y/n I'll be there in a minute" he says kissing your cheek and you nod and head into the kitchen your heart racing.
