It was Monday, and also my first day back to work after the shooting.

I started looking into a drug cartel case, and I showed it to Stella. She was interested until I said there's apparently a new shipment coming in today.

I started walking out the door, when Stella stopped me.

"Where are you going?"

"To bust the new shipment."

"Hell no." Stella angrily stated.

"Yes and you can come with me."

"Fine you have but listen to me, I don't want you getting hurt, again."

"M'kay, no promises."

We drove in my SUV to where the shipment was supposed to be.

We saw two large men talking with crates full of drugs behind and beside them.

"On 3, we both go in there and arrest some assholes." Stella told me.

Before she said two, I saw one man with a gun behind his coat.

Worried about Stella getting hurt, I did what had to be done.

"I love you, Stel." and kissed her on the cheek.

"Nia-" But she was cut off as I ran out of hiding and pointed my gun towards the men.

"FBI! Hands where I can see them!"

They put their hands in the air just as I was kicked in my back.

"Fuck." I said.

My gun was also smacked out of my hand.

I raised my hands pretending to surrender.

"What are you doing in the FBI, pretty boy?" The tall muscular man asked me.

"Arresting you sick bastards." I replied.

"Very funny, we might have to kill you now."

"Wait," The other man said. "he probably has a vest."

He ripped my shirt off of my to reveal my FBI vest.

He ripped off my vest, which made my scar appear.

"What happened here?"

"I was shot."

"Oh, I guess we'll have to shoot you dead this time."

He pointed the gun to my wound just as he fell to the ground bleeding out of his mouth.

Stella appeared behind the man once he fell.

I put my vest and shirt back on and hugged Stella.

"Thanks for saving my ass."

"Thank this." And showed me a round object.

"A silencer, you sneaky bastard."

"I love you." I simply replied.
