Prologue

Intimidating. 

Menace. 

Perilous.

'Yan ang mga salitang mai-dedescribe ko sa boss ko. A cold hearted Man na walang alam kundi ang bulyawan at i-work under pressure ang beauty ko. Pero ok lang, after all, i am his secretary. 

Though minsan nararamdaman kong beyond duty na ang ginagawa ko as secretary niya, hindi ako umaangal. Takot ko lang mabulyawan ng isang Kent Manjon na hindi narunong ngumiti.

"I don't care! If you have to drag him by his testicles just for him to be at the board meeting, do it! Or else!"

 

 

"Yes, Mr. Manjon." Ang lagi kong sagot sakanya. Ayaw niyang nakakarinig ng 'Pero', 'But', at kung ano-ano pang pwedeng pumutol sa utos niya.

Si Sir ata ang kilala kong walang kapaguran. Really. His company earns ten times worth the rival company. Walang gustong bumangga. Walang gustong makaaway ng isang Kent Manjon. Magtago ka na kapag tinitigan ka niya ng kanyang matatalim na mata.

"Sir, pinagtimpla ko po kayo ng kape." He just looked at the cup intently. Parang nagulat na nag-offer ako ng kape sakanya. Hindi ko mabasa ang nasa isipan niya pero parang may naalala siya sa kape, o sa tasa?

"If you wanna stay longer as my Secretary, don't you ever make me a coffee! Understood?!" Mababa ngunit ma-awtoridad niyang utos.

I never seen him eat. Sa mga launching meeting na kasama ako, never ko siyang nakitang ginalaw ang pagkain niya. he never even bothered looking at it.

He usually calls me at the middle of my bedrest just to do errands.

"Finish this report for me!" sabi niya pakatapos kong hilain ang sarili sa kama para makaputa sa opisina niya.

May mga instances din na wala akong christmas vacation. No sunday day off at kahit kailan, hindi ko pa nagamit ang leave slip ko. I was never late and no absent.

"Sir your 10 oc-lock is here." I said as i saw his Niece coming.

But above all the things i said, there is an exemption. His Niece. Sakanya lang siya mabait. Sakanya ko lang siya nakikitang ngumiti. Madalas ko siyang marinig na...

"Oh you remind me so much with your Mom."

Minsan, naiisip kong isang evil monster sa business world si Sir. Pero hindi. Sabi nga nila, sa lahat ng matigas na bagay, mayroon at mayro'n na magpapalambot dito.

A.N: Cliche it may sound sa Prologue pero i'm assuring you that this is not your ordinary Boss-Secretary-relationship. Tito Kent is a business Tycon so kailangan 'yun din ang standing niya sa sequel na 'to. Hindi ko siya pwedeng baguhin. Alright?
