Time: 11:00 AM (Thursday)

The death of Maksim Rybak, the son of Doctor Igor Rybak triggered a bomb with a five-minute timer. Pinauna ko na lumabas si daddy kasama ang mga scientists dahil alam ko na pipilitin ni Jordan na sumama ang mommy niya, pero di ko inaasahan na magpapaiwan ito.

"Within a few minutes, I will metamorphose into a monster. I rather die here than to be a monster," sabi ng mommy ni Jordan.

"Mommy, there must be another way---"

"There is no other way, Jordan Caden. Even Marishiella can't produce a cure now. I will be a threat to you and to your father. I can't control myself, Jordan. My brain is already wired to do these unimaginable things."

"Mom---"

"Just leave me, Jordan Caden. I just have one favor to ask. Please do not remember me as Doctor RE, the evil monster. Please remember me as Candice Regalado, a loving mother and a loving wife to Jorge. Someday, I hope you will learn to forgive me. I love you, son."

"Mom, I will always love you. You may have done this unimaginable destruction, but you will always be my mother."

When the timer hits the two minute mark, hinila ko na si Jordan dahil wala na kaming oras. Nang makalabas kami ng Floor 23, it seems that the elevator is no longer working. Maksim Rybak must have deactivated this in case may aberya na mangyayari.  Buti na lang at nakalabas na agad sila daddy.

Nagsimula kami tumakbo ni Jordan paakyat ng emergency stairs. We don't have enough time based sa remaining minutes sa timer namin.

"JC, considering our speed and the distance from Floor 22 paakyat sa main ground floor, I don't think we can make it in less than two minutes," sabi ko kay Jordan habang tumatakbo kami.

"Damn it! Any plans?"

"Of course, bro. Tandaan mo, I am already engaged. Malulungkot si Sienna kapag namatay ang fiancee niya."

"You are smiling. Anong plano mo, Che?"

"Based from my calculations, the bomb will set off once we reach Floor 3 or Floor 4. All the cameras will shut down and Sienna will no longer have a visibility of what will happen. Since Floor 23 is secured and heavily guarded, it will somehow contain the explosion. We have at least thirty more seconds before the floor will start to collapse.

"Thirty seconds? That's a lot of time!"

"But Sienna and Sav does not know that. Kio is probably in the control room right now and is coordinating with Captain Hermoso. We will use the backdoor of the headquarters."

"So gusto mo paiyakin si Sienna bago mo siya pakasalan?"

"Bro, this is my last revenge to her. Magiging under na ako sa babaeng yun pag nagpakasal kami---"

Natigil lang ang kwentuhan namin ni JC nang may marinig kami na pagsabog. Mabilis kaming umakyat papunta sa main floor at lumabas ng headquarters.

Nang malayo na kami sa headquarters building, kita kitang namin ni JC kung paano gumuho ito na parang sa isang controlled building implosion. Salamat kay General Regalado dahil inevacuate niya lahat ng tao dito.

"Bro, I am sorry about your mom," sabi ko kay JC na nakatingin sa building na gumuguho.

"I am sorry too. Dahil kay mommy, nagkaroon ng gulo na ganito."

"It was Igor Rybak who influenced her, probably controlled her. Sabi nga niya, please remember her as Candice Regalado, your mother."

Alam ko na nasaktan si JC sa mga nangyari. Hindi niya inaasahan na si Doctor RE at si Doctora Candice REgalado ay iisa. Di ko alam kung malulungkot ako dahil sa pagkamatay ng mommy niya or matutuwa ako dahil wala na si Doctor RE.

"JC, if you want a double wedding, I am fine with that," mahina kong sabi sa kanya.

"Che, you are like a brother to me and Shen is my closest friend. It would be an honor para sa akin kung papayag ka sa double wedding."

"Savannah helped me so much with Sienna kahit nasa malayo kami. Kung hindi dahil sa kanya, baka nakuha na ni Randolf si Sienna sa akin. I will be forever thankful to her."

"Double wedding it is. But you have a bigger problem to face. Kapag nalaman ni Shen na pinagtripan mo lang siya, wawarlahin ka nun."

"Yep, my bad. Nakalimutan ko na halimaw nga pala ang babaeng yun," sagot ko kay JC na nagpatawa sa amin pareho...
