After ng usapan namin ni Sienna, tahimik kaming lima habang naghahapunan. Stella is with us na parang isang babysitter. Inutusan siya ng daddy ni JC na wag na wag kami palabasin sa kanyang unit.

"Stella, are you my father's personal assistant?" tanong ni JC kay Stella.

We both know that this woman is not just an assistant of his father. Sigurado ako na higit sa professional level ang relationship nila.

"The General personally recruited me to be his assistant. I was previously in the RAD Team, the same department handled by your parents, Herschel," sabi niya sa akin.

Stella is young, nasa mid thirties at hindi na rin ako magtataka kung may relasyon sila ni General Regalado. The general is good looking and muscular despite of his age. If my parents know her, they must have referred her to the general.

"Stella, will you tell us exactly what is going on? Bakit kami ikinulong ni daddy dito?"

"We can't confirm your safety in Aquinas Island. Maraming tao ang nasa evacuation centres and your father thinks that there is a possibility for another break out. He wants you to be safe. Ikaw na lang ang natitira niyang pamilya."

"But how is that possible? Napaka thorough ng mga tests for the Z Virus? We undergone several series of blood analysis and examinations. Paano nagkaroon ng break-out?" tanong ni Jordan kay Stella.

Unless some strain of Z Virus cannot be detected...

Stella remained quiet. Mukhang nasabihan siya ni General Regalado na wag magbabanggit ng kahit ano sa amin.

"Jorge asked me not to tell anything about this Z Virus, but I guess all of you will not stop until you find your answers. Pagdating ni Kiyoshi, he will probably give all of you an idea of what is really happening. The higher military echelon thinks that this Z Virus is just a dry run, this is not the real thing," sabi ni Stella sabay bukas ng tablet PC niya.

"Dry run? Like rehearsal lang?" tanong ni Sienna at tumango lang si Stella sa kanya.

"Using facial recognition software, we found out that these men were previous employees of a pharmaceutical laboratory in Eastern Europe. It was shut down a decade ago, but it seems that they are operating underground. Hundred of these men were scattered all over the world yesterday and we think that the Z Virus is a deliberate attack."

"Deliberate attack? Sinadya ang zombie apocalypse?" gulat na tanong ni Sienna.

Kung may nakalusot na infected patient sa Aquinas Island, hindi na nakapagtataka na may traydor sa military lalo na ngayon at nalaman namin na sinadyang ipakalat ang Z Virus.
