Chapter 65 - Penthouse

POV Herschel

Time: 8:00 AM (Sunday)

Ang Crimson Hotel penthouse ay nasa roof deck at may malawak na garden na nakapalibot sa mismong suite. May apat na malalaking kwarto with a grand living room and kitchen. May swimming pool din sa gilid ng suite at in demand ang penthouse specially sa mga exclusive birthday party.

Madali namin napasok ang penthouse suite dahil naka disable ang lahat ng mga security features dito. Bumaba kami ni JC sa iba't ibang floors para kumuha ng supplies. Iniwan namin si Sienna, Kio and Sav to secure the whole penthouse.

"Bro, we can ask your dad to pick us up here after ng evacuation," sabi ko kay JC habang sinasara ang main gate ng hotel.

Nagharang din kami ng ilang kotse sa gate para walang madaling makapasok. If we will stay here for a week, we need to secure this.

"Che, the Saint Thomas Port has fallen kaninang madaling araw. When you were sleeping, nakita ko sa laptop ni Kio nag stop na ang evacuation papuntang Aquinas Island. There are only few or no more survivors living in the city including us. Ayaw lang sabihin ni Kio, but he can no longer contact Harold."

"Is that the reason why he wants us to stay here for a week?"

"That's right. Sa tingin ko, natatakot siya na malaman na kahit ang Aquinas Island ay na overrun na ng zombie horde."

If Kio can't contact Aquinas Island, there is really something wrong. Aquinas Island has a state-of-the-art technology at mawawalan lang sila ng communication kung may aberration mismo sa loob ng isla. I can't help but to worry dahil nasa Aquinas Island ang parents ko.

Umikot kami ni JC sa buong hotel para maghanap ng zombies. For almost an hour, we have cleared any signs of zombies sa loob ng Crimson Hotel. Tulad nga ng inaasahan, they are much faster kaya doble ingat kami ni JC.

Pag-akyat namin sa penthouse, hinarang namin ni JC ang dalawang malaking sofa na nasa living room sa tapat ng fire exit door para walang makapasok. Kio is comfortably seating sa isang wooden bench na may umbrella sa pool side.

"Bes, are you okay?" tanong ko sa kanya dahil rare ko makita na hindi siya nakaharap sa laptop.

Bes na din ang tawag ko kay Kio dahil nahawa na ko kay Sienna. Tinanggal niya ang shades niya tinignan kami ni JC mula ulo hanggang paa. Bakas sa mukha niya ang disgust sa mga splashes ng blood sa damit namin.

"Geez, saan kayo galing na dalawa? You both look hideous. Maligo nga kayo!" sabi niya at naglagay uli ng shades as if nasa sun bathing mode siya.

"Kiyoshi, what happened?" tanong ko ulit sa kanya dahil di nakaligtas sa akin na katatapos lang umiyak ni Kio.

"We no longer have any internet connection, so duh, wala akong updates sa kahit ano. I only have the visibility using the security cameras of the hotel, but we are practically blind. I feel useless and stupid right now," naiiyak na sabi ni Kio.

Nagkatinginan kami ni JC. Kahit pusong babae si Kio, never namin nakita na umiyak ito sa harapan namin.

"Kio, you are not stupid and you are far from being useless. How about Aquinas Island? Any last word from them?" tanong ni JC.

"Last message ni Harold, the island is not safe. All of the twenty second floors are separately sealed, no one gets in, no one gets out. Some floors are devastated. Wala akong balita about kay General Regalado or sa parents ni Che. I don't even know if my baby is still alive," he said with a broken voice at hindi na napigilan ni Kio ang umiyak dahil sa sobrang pag-aalala sa kanyang Baby Harold.

Sanay na din kami ni JC na marinig ang tawagan nilang baby. At first, it is awkward to hear two good looking men na nagsasabihan ng baby or babe sa isa't isa, pero nasanay na din kami ni JC sa kanila after all these years.

Umupo kami sa tabi niya at hinagod ang likod niya. Kahit ang boyfriend niya na si Harold Greer ay naging malapit namin na kaibigan ni JC habang nasa Perth si Savannah at Sienna. A highly unlikely friendship among two gays and two straight guys.

"Don't worry, we trust, Harold. He will contact you one way or another," sabi ko sabay tapik sa balikat niya.

Pagpasok namin sa loob, si Sav ay nag-aayos ng mga food stocks at nilalagay sa fridge. Marami din kami nakuha na imported canned goods ni JC sa mini store ng hotel.

"What the fuck happened?" nag-aalalang tanong ni Sav nang makita niya ang damit namin na may dugo.

"Zombie hunting shit, but we are fine. Asan si Sienna?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"Andyan lang, naghahanap siya ng mga damit."

I checked all of the impressive guest rooms of the penthouse, but there are no signs of Sienna. Pinuntahan ko siya sa garden pero wala din siya. Bumalik uli ako sa mga guest room at binuksan ang mga bathroom doors. I found her inside one of the bathrooms, but she's not wearing anything.

"Herschel! Di ka ba marunong kumatok?" sigaw niya sa akin sabay takip sa dibdib niya.

"What are you doing here?"

"Nakahanap ako ng mga shirts, pero pang lalaki. Sinusukat ko kung kasya sa akin," she said with a frowning face nang mapansin niya ang dugo sa white long sleeves ko.

"This is nothing. Bakit ka pa nagtatakip ng harapan? Nakita ko na yan di ba?" natatawa kong tanong habang hinuhubad ang maduming long sleeves ko.

I gave her a paper bag na may laman na toiletries na nakuha namin ni JC sa mini department store ng hotel. Meron din rubber shoes at underwear. I know her sizes well and I am sure that these will perfectly fit to her.

"I am impressed, Mr. Rivera. Kahit feminine wash at napkin, meron dito," nakangiti niyang sabi habang tinitignan ang paper bag.

"Marami kami nakuha ni JC na mga damit na pwede natin gamitin. The whole compound is safe. Would you like to join me in the shower room?" tanong ko sa kanya while removing the last cloth covering my body.

"Herschel, ano ba yan!" gulat niyang sabi and her eyes are already gazing at the thing between my thigh.

"Ayaw mo ba?" mahina kong sagot habang unti unting lumalapit sa kanya.

I pinned her arms on the tiled wall and I can feel the warmth of her naked body.

"Hindi sa ganun... pero... sabi ko kay Sav saglit lang ako dito dahil tutulungan ko siya mag-ayos ng gamit..." she said half heartedly.

"You know that you can't say no to me right?" I whispered as I began to kiss her ears.

Kilala ko si Sienna kahit noong bata kami. She is a strong and determined person, but I know I can easily melt her in my arms. 

I am the only man capable of disarming her...
