Cameron was more than satisfied with his plan. If he posts a few, borderline inappropriate comments about Avery on the Pine Vista country club website, her boss will send her to get it fixed. And the only way for her to fix this is for her to come to him.

When his phone rang with Avery's ID, he answered with a smile.

"Hi,"

"Where are you, you piece of shit?" She snapped.

"I'm at your apartment," Cameron answered and Avery let out a frustrated scream before hanging up. Smiling, Cameron propped his foot onto the coffee table and sipped his beer.

Fifteen minutes later Avery's apartment door swung open and slammed shut. Avery didn't even acknowledge Cameron on the couch and she stormed straight to her bedroom and grabbed her laptop. Once it was set up onto the club's website, she stormed back out and handed Cameron the laptop.

"Delete them," she ordered with a death glare. The anger radiating off her was enough for Cameron to comply and and her took down the comments and pictures. When he closed the laptop shut, Avery grabbed his car keys from the table and fished out her apartment key from the bunch before handing him his keys.

"Now, get out," she ordered and Cameron stood up.

"Baby," he stepped towards her and Avery looked away from him. She held her hand out for him further to grab the keys and Cameron stepped closer to her.

"I'm sorry," Cameron apologize.

"Get out,"

"I don't deserve you, I'm sorry," Cameron whispered and she scoffed.

"I was with her for two seconds, what you saw at the Sweet Spot was right before I ended things with her." Cameron explained and Avery kept her eyes from him.

See, if she dared to look at him, she'll believe what he's saying. And Avery did not want to fall for what he was saying. Whether or not if they were true.

"Please look at me," Cameron begged and he gently placed a hand in hers with the keys. "I did the bullshit with your work to get your attention because your refused to talk to me,"

Yanking her hands from his, she stepped away from him.

"You embarrassed me in front of my coworkers. You could've cost me my job." She snapped before turning to face him. "Does that make you happy? Does it make you happy to know that I might be out of a job?"

"Of course not," Cameron sighed before grabbbing onto her face.

"I'm not you," Avery spat. "I don't have a daddy that's going to just buy me everything I need."

"I'm sorry," he apologized. "It won't happen again, I love you."

Those were the first time he had said those words to her. Maybe he meant them or maybe he was trying everything in his power to keep Avery.
