Avery was being followed.

Well, at least she thought she was. She got out of her car and quickly made her way to the entrance of the clubhouse before letting out a sigh of relief.

"Hey, Beautiful," Finn greeted at the front and Avery nodded at him and he immediately frowned.

That's not how she typically greets him.

"What's the matter?" He asked.

"Oh, nothing. I'm just being paranoid. Happy New Year, Handsome." She greeted as she walked towards him and Finn's frown deepened.

"What are you paranoid about?" He asked and Avery shrugged.

"Nothing for you to worry about. Is Anna here yet?" She asked to change the subject and Finn nodded.

"Yeah, in Ian's office." He replied. He was about to go back to asking her about her paranoia but Avery was already slipping past him to go towards Ian's office.

She gave her secret knock and Ian gave her the go ahead and she opened the door.

"See, Eli? That's how you enter an office." Ian told his brother. And because Annabelle was playing on Ian's phone, Eli gave Ian the middle finger.

That made Avery chuckle and her previous paranoid mood vanished.

"Hello boys," she greeted and Annabelle finally looked up from her dad's phone.

A surprise gasped left her lips and she quickly slipped out of her dad's lap and ran towards Avery.

"Avery!" She cheered and Avery caught her at full momentum and lifted her up in the air.

"Hi, Anna!" She grinned before she planted a soppy kiss on the child's face.

"Let's go to the park!" Anna cheered and Avery laughed before looking at Ian.

He winked at her in greeting and she sent him a bright smile back.

"Goodness, the relationship in this room makes me want to vomit." Eli grimaced at the word relationship and Avery rolled her eyes at him before turning to Anna.

"I am very excited for the park." She said to Anna.

"Okay, lets go. Bye Daddy," she waved and Avery laughed.

"Can Daddy get a goodbye kiss?" Ian questioned with a smile.

"Okay," Anna dragged before wiggling out of Avery's arms and running back towards her dad.

She placed a wet kiss on her dad's face and gave him a hug before running back to Avery. But Avery stopped her and bent down to whisper something in her ears and Annabelle's eyes widened.

"Oh!" She gasped before turning back and giving her uncle Eli a kiss and a hug as well.

"I thought you were gonna forget about me Belle." Eli said and Annabelle shook her head no. As if Avery hadn't just reminded her.

Avery held her hand out and once Anna noticed, she quickly made her way over and grabbed onto it.

"I'll see you later," Avery said before blowing Ian a kiss. He 'caught it' and pressed it to his chest. Which caused both Avery and Eli to roll their eyes at his cheesiness.

"Bye, Eli," Avery waved.

"See you later," he waved.

"By Daddy, bye Uncle Eli." Anna shouted as they walked out the door and both men said goodbye to the four year old.
