Chapter 92

Patrick's POV:

The day passed and that night we put our kids to bed together and Allie went to bed and so did our sisters and moms eventually. I was cleaning things up around the house and I folded all the clothes that were in the dryer. I was just finishing up and grabbing all my stuff to leave when Allie came out all sleepy.

"Hey sleep head." I said

"What are you doing?" She asked half asleep

"Cleaning up and now I'm just leaving." I replied as I pulled her into my arms she pulled away and walked away but turned back to say, "Come to bed."

She walked down the hall back to her bedroom and I stayed there for a second and she came back to where I could see her and said, "With me."

I followed her and extended her hand to me and I grabbed it. She led me to our bedroom and I shut the door behind us.

She laid in bed while I took my pants and shirt off. I laid down and she cuddled up to me.

"Am I a horrible daughter in law?" She asked

"No, my mom loves you. Fuck Auston's mom."

"Thanks Kaner." She said using the team nickname

"Can I tell you a secret?" I asked her

"Always."

"I love you."

"I love you too." She whispered back

"So fuck the weddings?" I asked

"Fuck the weddings." She replied kissing me

She fell asleep in my arms. She was an angel and I was so in love with her. I kissed her head and whispered, "I know you're sleeping but you're beautiful and I was stupid to ever let you go."

Allie's POV:

I woke up the next day in Patrick's arms. He looked at me and kissed me. I kissed him and smiled. These were just like the good old days.

"I have to get to the rink to get on the plane." Patrick said not wanting to ruin the moment

"Oh course you do." I said sad

I kissed him and he slowly got up. I followed him kissing him. His lips and neck trying to keep him from leaving.

I followed him the shower and right before he was about to leave our bedroom I kissed him and said, "I love you my Patrick Timothy Kane. Good luck!"

He kissed me and said, "I love you too my beautiful Allison Marie."

Patrick left and I went back to bed. I felt to lonely without him, luckily when I woke up a few hours later I saw Patrick had texted me.

Patrick: good morning my beautiful wife. I really need to talk to you about last night.

Me: good morning sexy, the kids are still asleep. Call or FaceTime?

Patrick: in person. When I get home.

I got up with the kids and Donna pulled me aside and said, "So I assume you and Auston had a great time last night by the giggles and noises I heard."

"Actually, that wasn't Auston..." I admitted

"I know... Thank you for telling the truth. But this isn't healthy.." Donna said worried

"I know.. It's just so hard.." I said ready to cry

"Why?" She asked

"Your son is the reason my heart beats. He's the last one I want to see before I fall asleep and the first person I want to see when I wake up. His arms protect me from everything and everyone. Whenever I see him I get these insane butterflies in my stomach. Looking into his eyes makes my heartbeat so fast fast. I see him in all three of our kids and they all bring me so much joy. He is the one person in this world who I can tel my deepest, darkest secrets to and I know they'll be safe. No matter what. He is the one guy who I depend on and I don't know how to live without him." I said through tears

Donna hugged me and said, "So in other words you are still so in love with him."

"Yes but I know he is falling for Kate." I admitted losing it

Donna smiled and said, "You're his wife. You have no competition."

"We're trying to have a baby." I said smiling through the tears

"Another baby?!" Donna gasped smiling

"Yeah!" I said as Donna hugged me

"Als, between you and me.. Trust me he is just with Kate because he's stupid. He wouldn't have another baby with you if he hated you. How long have you been trying for?" Donna asked almost in tears

"We just started last night." I said laughing

"Well.. I hope you were successful." Donna smiled

Great.. My second mom just knows I fucked her son last night. My face turned bright red.

My mom and sister left to go back home and so did the Kane sisters with their mom. I was left alone with my three kids.

Five days passed and Patrick was home again. He got home at ten pm. When he came in the door I ran to his arms and hugged him.

"We need to talk." He said seriously as he broke the hug

"Okay." I said as I walked to the couch

Patrick came to with his jacket still on.

"You can take your jacket off." I said not trying to rush him

"Actually, I can't stay." He said

"What?" I asked confused

"Als, this isn't working." He said

"What happened to mission baby Kane number four and fuck the weddings?" I asked

"We just don't work.. I think we are too in love." Patrick said

"How the fuck can two people love each other too much?" I asked

"Goodbye Als." Patrick said leaving

I got up and pulled him backwards.

"No, you don't get to leave like this. Patrick, I could be pregnant right now. You don't get to do this to me." I said crying

He left and I was in tears. He came back in and I was sitting on the floor crying.

He wrapped me up in his arms and held me. He calmed me down and and said, "Good night beautiful." This time he left.

I cried myself to sleep that night.
