Today was your first date with Carter. You had liked him forever and he finally got the guts to ask you on a date. After you happily agreed, he did a happy dance and you laughed. He told you to be ready for sand and water. Aka the beach.
You quickly hopped in the shower just to clean up a little bit even though you were going to the beach. Once you got out you went into your room and picked out your swimsuit.
You grabbed a turquoise top and white bottoms. After sliding your bikini on, you grabbed a black tank and some jeans shorts. You grabbed money, your phone and flip flops and went back into the bathroom. After applying waterproof mascara and brushing your hair you went downstairs to wait.
*ding dong* Butterflies erupted in your stomach as you opened the door. "Hey Carter!" You greet.
"Hey Annie. You look beautiful," he replies. You blush. "You ready?" He asks. You nod your head and he grabs your hand. You guys decide to walk to the beach considering you live so close to it.
Once you get there you find a place to set your stuff. "Race ya!" You shout before sprinting towards to water. You beat him with a second to spare.
"Ha! I won!" You say. He laughs and splashes you. You squeal. "Carter!!"
He laughs again. "Sorry Annie. Didn't see ya there!" He winks.
You guys play in the water and on the sand until the sun goes down.
