I had skipped a day from school again, and from Kuroi, I heard that Endou lost his mojo, but immediately got it back. That was... pretty quick though. Losing your persistence then after a while getting it back.

"So, about the detective?" I asked. Kuroi and I were inside the club room. We'd train later when Kuroi was finished with his story. I was right about Kindaichi, but I haven't heard about the inspector. Kindaichi and Onigarawa had the same case about Kageyama, but when Kuroi had told them about his parents' murder, they bookmarked it as an old case. They'd solve it right after the Nationals were over.

"Yeah, but at least afterwards, I can find out who killed them." Kuroi said. Yeah, at least he can find out so he can get his vengeance. I know I would.

"Well," I stood up. "Good luck in finding who killed them."

"Aren't you gonna train?" He asked.

"Nah. For now I better help the managers." I said.

So the both of us had gone out of the room. Kuroi had joined practice while I was with Kino and Natsumi. Otonashi had to do something for the journalism club so I was in her stead. I was taking a video, for, you know, observation.

"Endou and the others are getting desperate." Kino said with a worried tone.

"But what are we going to say to them?" I asked, and they looked at me. "Well, you and Otonashi at least."

When Otonashi came back, the three started talking, and I wasn't really paying attention. I was more focused on their practice instead. I was getting worried though... What if the training didn't work? I mean... wait, I'm being too much of a pessimist.

"Rena-chan!"

"Eh?"

"Rena-chan, you're easily distracted, aren't you?" Otonashi asked.

"Y-Yeah." I mumbled.

"Anyway, do you wanna help us?" She asked.

"Help? With what?"

Their idea was making Onigiri for the team. Knowing Kuroi, he'd probably finish one plate in an instant. I knew how to make them, thanks to my grandmother. (Although she kinda forced me to make them on my own.... Dang you grandma)

All of us were molding the hot rice into triangles, and Natsumi.... well, I'm gonna say she didn't really make it into a triangle. Coming from a rich family, obviously she lets the maids cook her food... kinda like someone I know.

Then Kino had thought Natsumi a trick on making them. Putting a cup of rice in a bowl, then covering it with another bowl and shaking it, until it molded a little and cooled down. Good trick though.

"Rena-chan, you made Onigiri before, right?" Kino asked.

"Yeah... my grandma thought me how, the hard way." I said.

"Hmm? What method?" Natsumi asked.

"Oh uh, it's like this..."

I grabbed a cup of rice and molded it into a ball shape, and I threw it on the table, twice. It was to let the rice cool down and soften a little before molding it into a triangle. My grandma had taught me that trick, and I managed to make my own katsudon Onigiri. I did plan on putting them with the plain Onigiris after we finished.

While we were finishing up with them, Otonashi had spotted my lunchbox. (I had this habit of hiding my food so no one would ever find it, or ask for some)

"Eh? Fried Onigiri?" Kino asked.

"No, Kino-san. Try taking a bite." I said.

Kino took a small bite out of it, and then looked at me with astonishment. "Katsudon Onigiri!" She exclaimed.
