Amelia's POV:

"Amelia! It's been awhile since I last saw you. I would've asked how you've been but seeing the situation I think that will be a conversation for later. Come on in honey." Doctor Webber says. Normally I would be so excited to see him but right now I rather had a different doctor. I ignore the others and follow Dr Webber. I quickly sit down and start bouncing my leg up and down. Dr Webber raises his eyebrow but I shake my head and mouth 'anxiety' towards him and he hums. He looks up at the others and back to me. "Could you all wait outside for a moment please." he asks them politely but now the panic is starting to overflow. "It's okay, I want them here. Please." I look over at him, tears fill my eyes and he nods. "Are you sure? You know that I need some answers, Amelia." I sigh but nod not taking my eyes off my hands. Dr Webber sits in front of me and slowly removes the towel and whistles. "That's a nasty cut. How did you manage that?" he continues to examine my face and I wince once he applies pressure on my cheekbone. "I uhm slipped during a workout it's nothing. Just my usual clumsy self, doc." I play with my fingers and hear some scoffing next to me. "She got beaten by a trainer. He refused to stop and hit her a few good times. Her ribs also need to be checked. She gasped for air for a few minutes." I look up and glare at Lizzie for telling what happened. "Amelia, did you do it on purpose?" I frown making me hiss but shake my head no and start bouncing my leg up and down. Dr Webber hums and grabs some cloths to treat my eyebrow. "When was your last AA meeting?" he whispered and my breathing stopped. I look up at Ash and she nods. "She speaks with her therapist, doctor. At least once a week if needed they're having an extra appointment." Ash says. I grab her hand, squeeze it and let it go. "That's good, Lia. I do need to stitch your eyebrow but I first wanna check out your ribs could you stand up and take of your shirt?" my eyes go wide and my breathing is becoming heavy. Fuck. How am I avoiding this. I look over at Ash feeling the air becoming thicker and thicker. Dr Webber quickly takes a step back to give me some space. "Lia think about the talks we had. Check your surroundings, listen to my voice. You're okay, you're safe and nothing is going to happen." he slowly takes a step forward making me flinch badly and stumble back against the wall. I feel their hands on me. I feel their disgusting breath. Their lips. I need to get out of here. I need to take my mind off this. I need to do something. Please just make it stop, make it all stop. My breathing is picking up and I'm gasping for air. The voices around me are muffled and my vision is blurry. Someone holds me and my body becomes tense. I try to get away but it's like I can't move. I just need to close my eyes and it will disappear. Just for a moment.

Lizzie's POV:

Everything is going well. She seems stressed and anxious but she is not freaking out. Dr Webber seems to know Lia and both me and Scar tilted our heads at the way he greeted her. Ashley seems unbothered about it. Lia didn't answer honestly with how she got up her wound so I might get killed but my priority is her safety. "She got beaten by a trainer. He refused to stop and hit her a few good times. Her ribs also need to be checked. She gasped for air for a few minutes." I tell Dr Webber and he raises his eyebrow. Amelia is glaring at me but she quickly stops after feeling I assume the pain. "Amelia, did you do it on purpose?" and this shocks me. I hear Scarlett gasp softly and I look over at her. We both look at Dr Webber and Amelia. Her face goes pale and she shakes her head no but her leg starts to bounce. She wouldn't hurt herself now would she? Ashley shuffles a little closer and I really need to hold myself for not making a sound. Scarlett rolls her eyes and sighs. Dr Webber whispers something but Lia's not answering, she looks up at Ashley instead. "She speaks with her therapist, doctor. At least once a week if needed they're having an extra appointment." Ashley says. A soft sigh leaves my mouth happy she's looking after herself. "That's good, Lia. I do need to stitch your eyebrow but I first wanna check out your ribs could you stand up and take of your shirt?" Dr Webber stands in front of her but something inside of me is not feeling good. He takes a step back and I see Lia's white face and panic is written all over her face. I look over at Scar and she looks shocked. . "Lia think about the talks we had. Check your surroundings, listen to my voice. You're okay, you're safe and nothing is going to happen." he slowly takes a step forward making her flinch badly and stumble back against the wall. She is gasping for air and before I can do something Ashley goes to her and whispers somethings. "Dr Webber what's going on?" Scar asks him and I look over at him. Guilt fills his eyes and he looks up. "It's not my place to tell but how often does this happen?" He looks at Scar and I nod. "It happened a few times but I think this one is one of the baddest. The others weren't this heavy." He hums and I look back at Lia. I see her becoming tense once Ashley put her arms around her. She's fighting her hold but she seems stuck. She looks at me but she's out of it. Her eyes flutter and she's fighting against it but after a few second she stops fighting it and keeps her eyes closed. This time my breathing is increasing and I look over in panic at Dr Webber. He slowly goes to her side and carefully touches her. "She fainted. I'm going to call a nurse to set up a room." Scar replies but I can't manage to understand what she is saying. I slowly walk up to her and help Ashley holding her up. A nurse comes in quickly with a bed and with a few others they lift Lia onto the bed and take her to a room. Dr Webber takes us with her to the room and sighs. "I'm so sorry sweet girl. But I have to check it." he mumbles. I look over at Scar and Ashley and Ashley seems hesitant. "Spit it out Ashley." she looks up at me and sighs. "I can't. But she won't like this. Can you guys maybe turn around until Dr Webber is done?" I huff and went to take a step forward but Scar holds me back. "Don't. Let's just do it." I don't say a thing and turn around after looking one last time. "Her ribs are fine. They didn't break but got bruised. A few days rest and it will be fine. Make sure she won't do too much activities." Dr Webber tells us and we turn back around. "I'm quickly gonna stitch her up and after that she can leave. Is there someone to check her in the night? There is no concussion but knowing her she can get nausouses of the pain." Ashley went to say something but before she could I cut her off. "She will stay with me, don't worry. I will make sure she takes the rest." He nods and Scarlett goes next to her side. "You just said she could get nauseous of the pain can't you give her any medication for that?" she asks him as he finished the last stitch. He takes off his gloves and sighs before laying a hand on Lia's shoulder. "I'm sorry but I can't. She will refuse and I won't write any subscription for her. Please do not give her any, no matter how much you think it will help her. If she wakes up please press the button and I will check her one last time after that she can leave with you." I was about to ask something but Ashley pulls me back and shakes her head. Dr Webber walks out of the room and I move the chair next to Lia's bed removing the hair out of her face. "What happened to you, sweetheart. I wish you could tell me." I kiss her hairline and look at Ashley. "You clearly know more. What is it?" I spit out and Scar glares at me. "You don't have to take the sister duty that serious, jesus." and now I'm moving my glare to Scarlett and she gulps. Glad to know I still got it. "I'm sorry but I can't say. I already fucked up a lot and I'm not gonna tell you, not without her consent. You can try with Madison but I'm not gonna say a thing. I will leave now. Tell her I'll text her." she quickly stands up and kisses Lia's cheek, after that she left the room. I look over at Scarlett and give her hand a squeeze. "She is gonna be okay, right?" I ask her barely audible. "She is a strong one, Liz. She will be fine. But if you're going to go full mama bear mode each time, please let me know so I can hide." she chuckles. I roll my eyes and look back at the sleeping woman on the bed. "I just care so much about her. I didn't get what Ash and MK meant but now I do. I'd do anything to protect her. She is like my little sister. She's family and I'll forever protect my family."
