It was April the 4th, What would have been Kwan's and Yanna's, was now only Dajon's and Ary's anniversary. Kaari had to go back to Georgia since she was a teacher and Reign chose to stay an extra week to make up for being absent in Assyria's life, but after a while, she had to leave as well. King and Renae were still "making up" for lost time and putting time aside to have in-home movie dates with the kids.

Things between Kelly and Kairo had been a bit tense and Kelly knew it was her fault for trying to get him to have sex with her during one of their heated encounters. Kairo may have been a bit aggressive with her while scolding her and he regretted it once she began crying, but he still needed her to understand where he was coming from. The fact that she was acting the way that she was and he hadn't taken it to where she wanted, only had him wondering if it would even be a good idea to accept her offer.

He didn't mind her being clingy and wanting him to help ease her urges but he also didn't like the fact that she was making him feel as if he was being pressured into doing something that he wasn't ready to do yet.

"He's crazy," Von said upon entering Dajon's office.

"Why hasn't he been arrested yet then?" Dajon queried, picked up the new folder, and removed the files.

Von plopped down on the mini sofa and helped himself to Dajon's snack corner. If that were any other person, Dajon would have tossed them out but he and Von were like long-lost cousins and understood each other's profession.

"I did some digging," Von paused briefly and popped a few Cheetos into his mouth, "That man hired him some big-time Jewish lawyer that many judges are afraid to go against."

Dajon scrunched his face up and closed the folder, "The only case he had to go to court for was for his third ex."

Von nodded, dumping the M&Ms into his bag of Cheetos, "She was the only one who didn't take his money... page six," he said.

Reopening the folder, Dajon flipped through a few files until he counted to six and pulled out the woman's statement. "It says she recanted tho."

"It's not added in the report, but if I had to guess, he harassed her outside of court and most likely gave her no choice but to take the hush-money and dip."

"But," he grabbed another bag of chips, "That man is crazy... but I don't think he's aware of how your brother-in-law gets down."

Dajon tried not to smirk, "And what you know about my brother?"

Von gave him a look, "If you ain't saying nothing, I ain't saying nothing... but you know why the feds introduced us."

Dajon leaned into his chair and examined his watch momentarily before glancing at Von, "As long as they leave him alone, I won't say shit."

"Ain't gotta shoot me," Von chuckled, "But as I was saying... I know how Stone gets behind his family and I also know that you get your hands dirty on the low, so as your friend, I don't want y'all getting caught up in that man's mess."

Dajon exhaled then shook his head, "I can't do that."

"Dajon."

"That's my sister... she has five kids, three that stays out here. That nigga knows my niece works at the hospital and knows what school my other niece goes to... not to mention, he's been creeping around the neighborhood. So, if you're sitting here asking me to let this nigga slip up, fuck all that shit, he will die by my fucking hands before I let my brother or nephew do that shit."

Von frowned, "Kairo? What beef lil Stone got with him?"

"Like I said," Dajon repeated.

Von nodded, "You know I'm behind you a hundred percent, but you gotta work with me, Dajon."
