"When are you going to tell your sister?" Yae'Shawn asked Reign as they entered the house. They had just got back from her prenatal visit and found out that she would be reaching her fifth-month mark in a couple more weeks.

"I haven't decided yet... kinda nervous," she admitted, following him into the kitchen.

Yae'Shawn chuckled, "You're always nervous. At least tell her before we tell your folks next month," he suggested, washing his hands before going into the fridge.

Hopping onto the stool, Reign picked up an orange and began peeling it as she hummed to herself for a moment before replying, "Wi ave a lunch date in a few days... I tell her then."

Yae'Shawn smirked at her then chuckled, "Don't be over there lying, Des."

"I'm for real," she giggled, "Wi do."

"I wasn't talking about that," he gave her a look and she laughed.

"I will... I swear."

"Mm-hmm," he continued to eye her before grabbing a few limes to cut.

"Never understood why yuh did dah," Reign spoke, watching him clean the chicken with the slices of limes.

Yae'Shawn shrugged, "Saw it in a video one day and been doing it ever since... better to be safe than sorry."

Reign chuckled, "Yuh just ave problems with germs."

Yae'Shawn laughed, "What's bad about that? I would prefer what we eat to be clean going inside."

"Nutten wrong with dah," she smiled, grabbing another orange.

"You know we gon' have to tell your parents about the baby when we go to visit... once off-season is over, you know we gon' swamped with games and I would rather have your fam check on you on days I can't," he said.

"Wi will... one ting at a time," she playfully rolled her eyes.

"Just saying..." he replied, pouring vinegar over the chicken breasts. "You like to stall and when you stall, I end stalling."

Reign snickered, "Yuh are mi husband... mi equal."

Yae'Shawn kissed his teeth, "Your daddy is crazy and I would like to stay on his good side. He flew out just to talk to us when you told him about the miscarriage... imagine him finding out that we hid this?"

Reign stared at him for a moment then huffed, "Kaari first and then mi parents."

"A'ight now."

"Somebody please!" The disoriented voice pulled Kairo from his unknown slumber.

"Helpppp!"

Rubbing the sleep from his eyes, Kairo looked around his dark bedroom as the glare from the moonlight began to fade slowly as he got out of bed. An eerie cloud of darkness swarmed his room as he heard the familiar cry for help again. Folding his arms as a brisk breeze blew over him, Kairo walked toward the open door. Unaware of what kind of evil was lurking in the shadows, Kairo stepped out into the hall just as the sounds of gunshots went off. His head whipped in the direction of the shot as his heart raced avidly.

"STOP!"

"HELP ME!"

Chest heaving. Kairo's breathing becoming erratic and his palms became moist as the faint screams grow louder and louder until the...

BANG!

Jumping, Kairo looked around the dark hall just to see two figures on either side of the stairs. One reaching out for him but no sounds could be heard and the other to the left, cowered in the corner with blood staining their face and torn clothes. Knowing from his previous nightmares who that body belonged to, Kairo headed toward the direction of who he assumed would be his mom.
