|❝reader's pov❞|

"hey, love?", i say and look down at the boy who's laid across my chest, whose arms are wrapped around me protectively, my fingers gliding through the fluffy hair below me

"hmm, yea?" the boy in my lap responded, whose voice is slightly muffled due to his head being stuffed in my chest.

"you know i like it when you call me love, love?"

he said again, smile now prominent as he looks up at me

"i know, you say that almost every day" i paused

"and i appreciate it..." i finished my sentence,

i look down and return the smile

"anyways",

i pause to thread my fingers through his hair again, in which he looks like he is in heaven since he loves it when i run my fingers through his hair

"we should make a playlist"

"don't we have a playlist already?" his eyebrows slightly furrowing in confusion

"but we don't have 'the lover's playlist"' i slightly whine and i try to contain my slight giggle, reminiscing at the fact that we already have a playlist based on songs that remind us of each other

"huh, what is the lover's playlist?"

"well, now that you asked, a lovers playlist is different than the playlists people usually make for their significant other. a lovers playlist consists of a song that we gather from the shuffle button, two songs, one of which is based on my looks and your looks such as 'blond hair' or 'blue eyes', two songs, one of a song based on your personality and mine, and lastly, two songs, one based on your relationship with your family and my relationship with mine. so overall it's a short but sweet playlist with about ten songs." i finally finish my description and mini-essay, leaving me slightly out of breath from talking fast
