Chapter 46: Kiss the Girl/Ursula's Revenge

(Harmony's) POV:

It's been two days since we split up. During that time, Ariel's been spending a lot of time with the Prince. And from the looks of things, it seems like they've definitely been having fun. As glad as I am to see Ariel making progress, I'm really worried.

She only has one day left and the Prince still hasn't made an attempt to kiss her. On their second night together, the Prince takes Ariel on a boat ride in a lagoon. Suddenly, several familiar faces rise from the ocean, which turns out to be the others. I turn to them, hoping for some good news.

"Where's Sebastian?" Hijikata asks, noticing that our crab friend isn't with us.

"Uhh...oh...well..." Flounder mutters. "King Triton wanted him at the palace."

"I wonder if it's about Ariel," Goofy says.

"Most likely," I say.

"If King Triton finds out what happened, we're in hot water. Especially since we kept it a secret," Sora says.

"What about Ursula?" Flounder asks.

"Have you found her?" I ask.

"Afraid not," Saito answers.

"She disappeared!" Donald exclaims.

Okita lets out an irritated sigh. "We practically looked through the entire ocean and couldn't find her anywhere."

"Please tell me you've had better luck than we have on our end," Madison says.

"Not exactly. Ariel and the prince have been spending time together, enjoying themselves. So, that's a good thing," Luke explains.

"But he still hasn't kissed her yet, and tomorrow is her last day," says Harada.

We all sigh and groan, not happy that things aren't working well for us. I try to think of what to do.

"What if we..." I begin to say, getting everyone's attention. "What if we helped give them the right push. Set the mood."

"And how do we do that?" Madison asks.

"By playing some music. If we use the right song, we can create a romantic moment for the prince to fall in love with Ariel and kiss her," I say.

"In other words, you're thinking of playing a love song in hopes that it all turns out well, right?" Madison asks.

"I know that it's wishful thinking, but if we don't do something, who knows what Ursula will do to Ariel once her time is up," I say.

After a moment or two, Madison sighs, giving in. "I guess it's worth a try. Just don't set your hopes up too high," she says, scolding me like an older sister.

I smile and hug her. "Thanks."

"But some of us don't know the first thing about music, remember? And we don't even know how to play any instruments," Heisuke points out, gesturing to himself, as well as Hijikata, Okita, Saito, Harada and Nagakura.

"We don't. But the sea animals do. Flounder, do you think you can get any nearby fish or other sea animals to help us?" I ask.

"I'm on it!" Flounder exclaims.

After a few moments of waiting, we see Flounder appearing with a lot of help.

"Okay, everyone. We need to create a romantic scenario that involves music. Can you do it?" I ask.
