Chapter 45: Back
Adrien Rives's POV
"Fuck, Adrien..." Meghan moaned in my ear after sucking my neck.
We just woke up and couldn't get enough of what happened last night. Last night was perfect. I don't know how to put it into words that can most describe it, I just know that everything that happened last night was perfect.
I felt my heart racing as she started kissing me again. She's on top of me right now, taking me places without really leaving this bed.
"I want you so fucking much. I want you everyday." She whispered and I couldn't help but smile. I'd love to spend each and every morning like this.
"Damn, Meghan. You're fucking gorg-"
Natigil ako sa pagsasalita at napatingin sa phone niya na biglang nagring. It's placed on the side table, under the lampshade.
Nagulat ako nang hawakan niya ang mukha ko, forcing me to face her. She's so damn dominant in bed, and just thinking of it makes me hard.
"Don't dare look at anything else other than me." Pabulong niyang sabi and I couldn't help but smile.
"I'm sorry. I wouldn't dare take my eyes off you again." I whispered and she chuckled at me. I held her sides and swiftly switched our positions. She felt so light when I carried her and a thought entered my mind. Hindi parin natatapos iyong pagring ng phone niya. I'm starting to be curious as to who's calling her this early in the morning. "Do you wanna try something?" Nahihiyang tanong ko nang nakapatong na ako sakanya and she giggled.
"Depende. What do you wanna try ba?" She asked as she pulled me in to bite my lower lip. Fuck, she turns me on too much. I'm not even sure kung umabot sa dalawang oras iyong tulog namin kagabi because she's so fucking good at keeping me up all night.
"I want to carry you." Bulong ko sa kaniya at natawa siya. Tumigil na iyong pagring ng phone niya. "Why are you laughing?"
Napatingin ulit ako sa phone niya nang tumunog naman ito na parang may nagtetext.
"Maybe you should check your phone first. Baka sakaling importante." I told her and she groaned.
"A girl is completely naked in front of you and you're convincing her to pick up her phone? Really, Adrien?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong niya at natawa nalang ako.
"We can continue doing this for the rest of the day, you know. But for now, you should check your phone." Sabi ko sa kaniya at hinalikan siya sa noo. I felt her smile as I kissed her.
"Fuck it. Ichecheck ko na." She said after groaning in frustration. I moved away from her para makagalaw siya. She got up and reached for her phone on the side table and I waited for her reaction.
"Is it something important?" I asked nang mainip sa pagcheck niya ng phone niya.
Napakunot noo siya habang nakatingin parin sa phone niya, dahilan para lapitan ko siya. She doesn't look shocked, scared, nor happy. I wonder who texted her.
As I moved closer to lay next to her, she grabbed the sheets to cover herself.
"Ang weird." Parang nagtataka niyang sabi at tinitigan ko lang siya. "It's Declan. He suddenly messaged me after like, months of not talking." Sabi niya sa akin and I gave her a confused look.
"Who's Declan?" I asked, making her look uncomfortable.
"Just... one of the guys I've slept with. I'm not even sure kung gaano katagal na kaming hindi naguusap." Sabi niya nang hindi makatingin sa akin. "Don't worry, he's a nice guy. He's nothing like Rhys."
"That's nice." Matipid na sabi ko.
"He left for a few days after our one night stand, at pinayagan akong magthrow ng sarili kong party. He owns a bar kasi." Kuwento sa akin ni Meghan at tumango-tango nalang ako.
Declan?
What an awkward name. I don't like him already.
"He seems like a good guy." I said in a cold voice at umiwas ng tingin kay Meghan. "So what did 'Declan' tell you? Bakit siya bigla-biglang tumatawag in the middle of us having sex? Does he want you back?"
Naramdaman kong napatingin sa akin si Meghan.
"Are you jealous?" Nagtatakang tanong niya at agad naman akong sumagot.
"I'm not." Mariing sabi ko at tiningnan niya ako na parang nagtataka. After a while, she dropped the look she's giving me and went back to looking at her phone.
"Here. You can read it yourself. It's nothing, really. Mukhang wala namang malisya." Aniya at inabot sa akin 'yong phone niya.
Tiningnan ko muna siya bago tumingin sa phone niya na inaabot niya sa akin. She's literally handing me her phone, wala ba siyang pake sa privacy niya?
Hindi nalang ako nagtanong at kinuha na iyong phone niya.
Parang uminit iyong pakiramdam ko habang nagbabasa ng mga messages niya kay Meghan.
[I was drunk last night and I think I saw you]
[I'm sorry I suddenly called, bigla ko kasi naalala at gusto ko agad sanang malaman kung ikaw ba yun]
[Where are you right now? If you don'tmind me asking]
Napatingin ako kay Meghan na nanonood sakin magbasa.
"Are you gonna tell him where we are?" Tanong ko at ibinalik na iyong phone niya.
"Why not? He just wants to know kung ako iyong nakita niya. Nothing more." Simpleng sabi ni Meghan, but she looks uneasy. Parang nahihiya siyang magsabi sa akin.
"You can tell him." Mahinahong sabi ko at hinawakan iyong kamay niya. "I know it's me that you want now, not anyone else, kaya you can talk to him as much as you want. I trust you." I said as I kissed her hand.
"Are you sure you're not jealous? Guys usually get so possessive and controlling of me." Nagtatakang sabi niya sa akin at tinignan nang mabuti iyong mukha ko. I couldn't help but laugh with the way she's studying my face right now.
"Kahit ako pa magsabi kung asan tayo eh." Sabi ko sa kaniya at napangiti siya.
"Sure. My passcode is 2222." Hindi ko inaasahang sagot niya. "I'm gonna go take a shower." Sabi niya at tumayo na. Napalunok ako nang makita ulit siya na wala ni isang damit na suot. "And maybe we can continue doing what we were about to do kanina." She said as she walked over to the bathroom.
"Of course. I'll order some foods na rin while you shower." Sabi ko at natawa siya.
"Aww, I thought we're each other's breakfast." Pangaasar niya bago pumasok ng CR at natawa nalang ako. I sighed as she entered the restroom and I'm left alone and naked on the bed.
My gaze went back to Meghan's phone. She really left her phone with me and even gave me the passcode.
It's interesting. I hate it when people invade my privacy. Ni hindi ko nga pinahihiram ang phone ko.
I grabbed her phone and for some reason, felt nervous as I opened it.
Nakita ko ulit iyong messages noong Declan and I felt uneasy.
Huminga ako nang malalim at nagsimula nang magtype. I shouldn't name the hotel, should I? I don't think being specific would be good for both our safety.
I hit send as soon as I finished typing at tinitigan lang iyong phone niya, waiting for a reply.
After a while, wala pa rin akong natatanggap na reply kaya bumangon nalang muna ako.
I heard the shower coming from the bathroom at napangiti. Maybe I should join Meghan.
I stood up and brushed my fingers through my hair para maayos manlang ito kahit papaano. I stretched my arms at maglalakad na sana papunta sa CR nang marinig kong muling tumunog iyong phone ni Meghan. I grabbed it and entered the passcode.
[So it really is you. I'm in the area too]
[It's been a while. Do you maybe wanna see each other again?]
Napatingin ako sa pinto ng CR kung saan nagshoshower si Meghan and back to the phone I'm holding right now.
I sense something weird, but I don't want to control Meghan. I don't want to stop her if she wants to meet this guy.
I hope I don't regret this decision.
