"You know what? I am so fed up with you!"
"I don't care! I'm also fed up with you!"
Loud shouts of anger echoed off of the walls of the house followed by yells. This had been happening for the past half an hour and seemed pretty useless.
Your husband and you were currently arguing with each other, taking your rage out on the other and not really caring what the consequences would be.
Now, you're probably wondering what on earth you're arguing about, right? Well, allow me to explain.
Katsuki had seen you kiss another man on the cheek earlier on and immediately came to the conclusion that you no longer loved him and had been cheating on him. Of course, this wasn't the case, but he was so sure of it that he wouldn't allow you to explain what actually happened.
"Katsuki, please can you just allow me to explain-"
"I don't want to hear your stupid excuses, Y/n. I saw what I saw, and that's final." The ash blonde growled, glaring at you with sharp, angry eyes.
"It's not an excuse! If you were actually quiet for once, then maybe I would be able to explain what happened." You told him.
"Shut up!" He hissed, "You kissed another man!"
"But-"
"I've had it with you! You know what, I wonder why I even married you in the first place. You've probably been cheating on me way before then." Katsuki roared, stepping closer to you.
Your eyes widened as your mouth hung agape slightly. You looked down towards his hand to see that his fingers were wrapped around his wedding ring.
"No, what are you-" You begun, but he had already pulled the ring off of his finger.
You watched in horror as it dropped to the floor, a clutter of noise following after.
"You might as well take yours off as well, seeing that you no longer trust me." The man you loved said, anger laced in his voice.
Mixes of emotions rushed throughout your body. What were you supposed to feel during this situation? You felt sad that he no longer trusted you, you felt guilty for not being able to explain even though it was his fault, and you felt furious that he wouldn't listen to you.
"I'm leaving. Don't come looking for me. Oh wait, you probably wouldn't care where I am." Katsuki informed, spinning around to walk into the hallway.
"Wait, no! Come back here!" You shouted, but it was already too late. Katsuki had slipped on his shoes and had rushed out of the door, not wanting to spend another second in the same house as you.
"For god's sake, Katsuki!" You yelled out, "Why didn't you just allow me to explain?"
-
Katsuki had been walking in the streets for about half an hour, trying to burn away his anger. What wasn't helping was that it was pouring it down, which also matched his mood.
The ash blonde didn't care that he was currently getting soaked by the cold rain sticking to his clothes. In all honesty, he didn't care about anything right now. He just needed to get out of the house.
It made him think about things more clearly. He shouldn't have yelled at you and definitely shouldn't have ripped his wedding ring off of his finger. Heck, what was he thinking?
He sighed in a stressful manner, staring down at his soaked shoes. He regretted everything he said to you earlier, and should've let you explain the situation. Maybe it was all just a big misunderstanding and he had interpreted it wrongly when he saw it.
Katsuki's mind travelled back to the words he regretted telling you the most, "I've had it with you! You know what, I wonder why I even married you in the first place..."
Of course he didn't mean to tell you that. He was just allowing all of his anger out. The truth was, he loved you so much, that he didn't even know what to do with himself. You were the best thing that had ever happened to him, and he felt delighted when you agreed to marry him. He didn't regret marrying you at all. But, anger got the better of him.
The ash blonde looked around the lonely, cold, desolate streets. He felt exactly like that in this moment in time.
"How can I ever make it up to Y/n...?" He whispered to himself, salty tears filling up in his empty, red eyes.
-
Back at home, you were sat in the living room, thinking about everything and anything. Earlier on, you had picked Katsuki's wedding ring up from the floor, and ever since then, it had never left your hands. You had been keeping a hold of it as it was your only sign of hope. Hope that he would come back and the two of you would talk things through.
Just as that thought flew through your mind, you head the door swing open then close. Gasping, you shot up from the sofa then ran into the hallway.
Once there, you saw a drenched, cold and shivering Katsuki Bakugou with blue lips and a red nose.
Pushing all your previous thoughts aside, you flung your arms around him, seemingly startling the male.
Your husband widened his eyes as he tried to process what was happening. A few seconds had passed, and he had almost started crying at the feeling of you embracing him. Without a second thought, he wrapped his arms around you and pulled you closer to him.
You sighed then nuzzled your face into his neck, not caring that he was dripping wet from the rain. All that you cared about was that he was back, safe, and in your arms once again.
The two of you stood there for what seemed to have been a few more minutes before finally letting go of each other. You both made brief eye contact before looking away.
"Uhm... I'm going to get changed. I'll come down after." The ash blonde whispered before whizzing up the stairs in a flash.
Smiling to yourself, you just shook your head then retreated back into the living room where you would wait for your lover.
Soon enough, footsteps could be heard wandering into the living room where you were patiently waiting.
Looking up, you saw Katsuki standing in the doorway wearing new clothes so that he wasn't soaked.
"Hi." He said to you, beginning to walk over to you.
"Hello." You responded softly, watching as he slowly sat down on the sofa next to you.
The two of you locked gazes, millions of unexplainable emotions flashing through both of your eyes. No words were needed in that time. All that mattered was that the two of you were reunited and all that was left was to sort out your issues.
Remembering that you still had the wedding ring in your hand, you were the first one to break the stare, eyes now trailing down towards your clenched fist.
"Here." You whispered, unfolding your hand so that you could give the ring back to Katsuki.
Katsuki looked down at your hand then slowly reached out, grabbing it carefully with his fingers before slipping it onto his left hand.
He managed a smile to spread onto his lips. "Thank you."
His smile was truly the most beautiful and angelic thing you had witnessed in your whole entire life. It instantly brightened up your gloomy days and caused you to smile back.
"Will you allow me to explain what happened?" You cautiously whispered, watching closely as your husband reached out for your hand, weaving your fingers together.
"Yes." He replied, thumb now rubbing circles onto your knuckles.
You smiled then begun to tell him the whole story. "Well, I decided to go out shopping, as you know. When I was finished, I spotted someone familiar outside the shopping centre. So, I walked over there and we begun to have a small chat."
"As you know, when saying goodbye, I kissed their cheek."
You reached up and did the same to Katsuki.
"Katsuki... That man was my brother."
"WHAT THE FU-"
