Tew: Mr. CoCo Ice Cream Buffet at 4 Please?
Aim: Ditch MAY!
Wow! This is oddly familiar. I chuckle as I click on recipients to see who is in the group this time. It is all of our guys and Maprang. Looking over, I see her banging her head on her desk with May watching her along with the guys.
How do we ditch May? I can't ask Maprang for ideas because she is sitting right next to her, and she might see the message.
Tew: is she ok?
Wad: u r coming right?
Prae: shes fine and yes
Kong: k
Aim: DITCH MAY!!!
Oak: she knows idiot
Jett: r u sure she is ok
Prae: yes!
I am sure this is going to be a total repeat of yesterday. If this keeps up, the guys are going to wreck my diet. Now how to ditch May?
Prae: need help
P'Bright: ??
Prae: need to ditch may
P'Bright: y
Prae: y do u think?
P'Bright: no fair!
Prae: what?
P'Bright: u get free stuff again today no fair
Someone explain to me why I thought asking P'Bright for help was a good idea?
Prae: P focus! HELP
P'Bright: dont wanna 😤
Prae: i will buy u lunch tomorrow
P'Bright: do u think that will work
Prae: ... P!
P'Bright: k how do i do this 🤔
Prae: idk JUST DO IT!
P'Bright: keep ur panties on
Prae: rly p?
P'Bright: 🤣🤣
P'Bright: hang on got an 💡
What have I done? I wonder if May will forgive me. Maybe she won't figure out I am the one who sent P'Bright. Geez, I hope not.
Maprang is still sitting with her head down, but I see May looking at her phone like it suddenly is possessed. Crap! I should have asked him what his idea was first!! What has he done? I look at my phone when it buzzes in my hand. I can see Maprang sit up out of the corner of my eye.
May: do u know who p'bright is dating?
Prae: no y
Maprang: i can't keep track of them all y
May: he ordered me to go to siam mall today
Prae: y
May: to help him get a gift for vday
Maprang: oh
Maprang looks over at me and raises an eyebrow. I can't do anything in response since May is looking at me.
May: can u come with?
Maprang: i have an appt sry
Prae: sry photo thing for campus star
The look on May's face makes me want to laugh. You would think we just abandoned her on a deserted island. I mouth the word, "Sorry." with a pout. You don't know how sorry I am. I can't believe I just left my friend in the hands of P'Bright. You never know what he will do.
Since Maprang and I said we had different excuses when we left school, we had to go different directions after a grinning P'Bright showed up to kidnap May. I laugh, walking up to the shop to see Maprang leaning against the wall playing on her phone.
"Are they not here?" I ask as I lean on the wall next to her.
"They are here," Maprang says as she puts her phone in her purse. "I just didn't want to go in alone." Just as we are about to walk in, she stops. "Did you call P'Bright to kidnap May?"
"Yep," I grin, "Do you think she will forgive me if she finds out?"
"I wouldn't," Maprang snorts, "That was mean, but if we can get Aim to do something decent for Valentine's Day, she might forgive you. She did ask for help last time we were here."
"True," I hum. "Let's go before they come looking for us."
When we are walking into the shop, the girls behind the counter glare at us; I guess they remember us from the other day. I don't know why they are upset when they heard our seniors have boyfriends. But whatever. The guys are sitting at the same table the seniors were. I turn and look at Maprang as she facepalms herself.
"Why are we friends with them again?" Maprang whines. I shove her toward the table, but she grabs me and pulls me back outside. I catch a glimpse of the guys' confused looks just before I am yanked out of the shop.
"What the hell, Maprang?" I grumble.
"I just thought of something," Maprang says as she looks at the guys through the window.
"What?" I ask as I give Tew a wave and a shrug.
"We can't tell them where to have Valentine's Day, or it will wreck what we already planned with the seniors," Maprang whispers, "So what are we going to tell them."
"Yeah," I mumble, "That would screw things up. But we have to tell Aim where to go because we haven't planned that. And if we leave it up to him, they will end up someplace weird."
"Why are we the go-to people for this?" Maprang whines, "We are not even dating!! Valentine's Day is going to suck for us!!"
"Let's just give them gift ideas," I put in.
"What if they ask for a place to take them," Maprang questions as she glares at Oak, who is making faces through the window.
"We will tell them that the seniors should be the ones to do that, not them," I decide, "They are older. Sound good?"
"Works for me," Maprang sighs, "Let's get this over with, ok." I have to stop from laughing when she slaps the window where Oak has his face before walking inside.
Once again, the girls at the counter glare at us when we walk in. I hear them gasp when we walk over to the table with our friends. Wad and Kong stand up.
"Let's get you some ice cream," Wad says as he ushers Maprang to the counter. She doesn't even look at the menu, and neither do I. I tell Kong I want the Star Gooseberry and give a wicked grin at the same girl who served us last time.
Again I want to tell these idiot servers that my friends are taken by BOYS! So back off. They don't even see you.
This time the server hands the cup of ice cream to me instead of Kong.
"You seem popular," the server says sugary sweet.
"She should be," Kong beams at me, "She is the Campus Star." I watch as the server's jaw drops. I playfully swat Kong's arm.
"Awww, stop it," I giggle, "You are the Campus Moon, so you are just as popular."
I wink at the server before I walk away from the counter, trying not to crack up. Maprang, on the other hand, is dying. Wad is looking at her like she has lost her mind. If you only knew, Wad.
Sitting down at the table, Maprang and I wait for the guys to ask the question we know is coming. After about five minutes, Maprang can't take it anymore.
"Are you going to ask, or are you going to watch us eat ice cream," Maprang sighs. "And why is Oak here?"
"Why can't I be here?" Oak huffs, "I wanted ice cream, too."
"Nevermind," Tew cuts in before those two can start bickering, "We need help with Valentine's Day."
"We figured," I hum as I take a bite, "It is during the upcoming festival, so going anywhere will be hard."
"Yeah," Wad sighs, "That sucks. I wanted to go someplace nice." He has a wistful look on his face, which is so not him. I wonder if he is thinking about Hua Hin.
"So that leaves gifts," Maprang states. "Except for you, Aim. You have to do something."
"Why only me?" Aim looks at the rest of the guys. "Why don't they have to do something?"
"Because their boyfriends should be the ones doing something," I say with a grin.
"What if they think we are doing something?" Kong questions.
"Yeah," Jett chimes in.
"Then you can guilt them into anything," Maprang says with a laugh.
"Look," I begin, "We are going to busy all day at the booth. It is not like there will be a chance for them to do something elaborate. So be happy with what happens. If we didn't have the festival, it would be different, but there is no way they can pull off anything big when we are all tied up with that."
"Besides," Maprang grumbles, "Isn't it just about being with your person?"
"Can I ask a question?" Oak interjects.
"If it is something stupid, I am going to hit you," Maprang warns.
"Don't turn and look, but why do those girls keep glaring at us?" Oak asks quietly. Of course, all of us turn and look. They are all glaring at us. Maprang and I both smile and wave at them. It is hard not to laugh when they all pretend to be busy.
"I think they are jealous of Prae," Kong offers, "The girl who served us said something snarky to her." He looks back at the counter. "I don't remember which one it was, though. They sort of all look alike to me."
Maprang and I crack up at this. The guys really don't see anyone else but their boyfriends.
"OK, let's get what you are going to give worked out before we plan Aim's date," I say, getting down to business. Maprang and I work out good gifts to complement what the seniors were going to do for them.
I thought Maprang was going to beat Aim to death when he explained his idea of a 'fun date' to us. Even the guys were laughing.
"Hey," Aim asks as we stand up to leave, "How did you ditch May?"
"P'Bright," Maprang says as if that makes perfect sense.
"P'Bright!" Aim gasps and all the guys begin to laugh. "You sent May with P'Bright?"
"I am sure your girlfriend is fine, Aim," Maprang laughs.
"It is not her I am worried about," Aim explains. Huh? What? Is he worried about P'Bright?
"You are worried about him?" Kong asks.
"You guys think May is all sweet and cute. She can be scarier than her," Aim says, pointing at Maprang.
"Will you guys stop calling me SCARY!" Maprang shouts. "People are beginning to believe you guys!"
"Where did they go?" Aim questions panicked.
"Siam Mall," I answer, "To help him pick out a Valentine's Day gift for whoever he is dating."
"And you sent them to the mall," Aim collapses back into the booth. I look at the guys and see them just as confused as I am. What is he afraid of?
He pulls out his phone when it starts going off in his pocket and laughs when he reads the message. After reading it, he lets us see it.
The Boss: Fvcking hell!
The Boss: u better get here and save my ass!!
The Boss: do u know how many bags I am carrying!!!!!
The Boss: she was supposed to help me!!
The Boss: tell prae she owes me lunch for a month!!
The Boss: get ur ass here now!!
The Minion: omw
The Boss: I am going to get tutah to change her name in the chat!!
"Hey, this is on you guys," I wave my hands, "I told him I would buy lunch tomorrow, but you are buying it for the rest of the month. I did this for you!"
"Don't worry," Tew laughs, "We will take care of it."
"Ai'Aim, you should go save P'Bright," Wad grins, "I am pretty sure he doesn't have keys for the closets at Siam Mall."
"I will go with you," Oak says, "I will call P'Tutah to help."
"I will call him," Jett growls at Oak.
"Stop being territorial," Oak laughs, punching Jett on the shoulder, "I know you are dating him. And like I said before, he is not my type."
Oak and Jett haul Aim up out of the booth and walk towards the door with him as Jett calls P'Tutah explaining the situation.
"Hey," I call after them, "If P'Tutah asks why we sent May with P'Bright, tell him we were helping Aim with Valentine's Day. Ok?"
"Got it," Oak says before they leave.
The rest of us begin leaving. Before I walk out the door, I turn and smile at the servers behind the counter.
"Thank you," I grin evilly, "Have a nice day." Maprang starts laughing as they all gape at us. I wonder if we should find some random guys to show up with tomorrow for the hell of it. That would be funny.

Random fact about me :) I wear 19 rings on 8 fingers/thumbs...lol. Like 24/7. Would be more but for a grown woman I have freakishly long skinny fingers (people always ask if I play piano... don't know how that equates but has happened all my life and no I don't play the piano.) Currently on the hunt for a 4.5 and a 2 ring that doesn't look like a children's ring.
