"Wad, where are you going?" I ask when I see Wad heading towards the door with his backpack.
"I have a test tomorrow. I am going over to P'Arthit's dorm to study with Ai'Kong," Wad explains as he walks over, dropping a kiss on my lips.
"I will go with you," I say as I stand up, "Give me a second to change."
"His dorm is only across the street," protests Wad, "I think I can cross a street at my age, P'. You stay here. You have to finish that project." He points to the mess on the table. "You have been cursing at it for the last twenty minutes." I look over at the project Wad is referring to, and he is right. I need to finish it, and it is giving me hell.
"Are you sure?" I ask hesitantly. He nods at me, giving me another kiss before he walks out the door. Arthit's dorm is just across the street. What could happen?
"Message me when you get there," I call after him.
"Will do," Wad calls back with a laugh. I look across the way at Arthit's dorm. Wad was shocked when I pointed out that Arthit's dorm was right across from his friend's dorm. I can see my friend and his boyfriend sitting at the table talking.
Looking at my project strewn across N'Kongpop's table, I growl in frustration. This thing is being a bitch. I sit down and get back to work while I wait for Wad's message.
I jump when my phone rings. "Hello?" I answer, putting it on speaker to continue working and look at the clock on the wall with a frown.
"Ai'Prem," Arthit says, "Kong is freaking out. Something about N'Wad coming over here to study. Can you put him on the phone? He is not answering his." My heart drops.
"He is not there?" I ask, "He left a while ago." I look over towards Arthit's dorm to see my friend standing at the window, looking at me with his boyfriend pacing behind him.
"No, he is not here," Arthit says with a strained voice as he turns to look at his boyfriend, who collapses on the bed. Arthit looks back at me, and I can see the panic in his eyes.
I knew I should have fvcking taken him over there! What the hell was I thinking?!? I fvcking lost Wad! Fvck!
"Ai'Prem, I will message the group. Come over here now," Arthit tells me, and I nod before I hang up.

Running across the street, I notice a backpack thrown up against the building. I go over to it, and as I fear, it belongs to Wad. I look up and down the street, but I don't see him. I can hear his phone going off inside his backpack and pull it out, cursing. P'Knott runs up and looks at the phone in my hand.
"How are we going to find him now?" I say as I feel the world spinning.
"We will find him," Knot reassures me as he takes the phone and backpack from me, but I grab them back, hugging them to me, "Let's get up to the room. The others will be here soon."
I nod numbly. The only thing that keeps running through my head is 'I lost Wad.' For some reason, it feels so final.
When we reach the room, I can hear N'Kongpop blaming himself through the door.
"It is my fault, P'" N'Kongpop yells, "I should have gone over there! If I had gone, he wouldn't be missing!"
"Kong, N'Wad insisted on studying over here," Arthit yells back at his boyfriend, "This is nobody's fault, but the fvcking bastard who took him! So stop blaming yourself. It won't help to find your friend!"
Knott looks at me as he turns the handle on the door. Walking in, I see N'Kongpop face streaked with tears and Arthit's hair sticking out at strange angles.
"It is not your fault, N'Kongpop. It is mine," I choke out, "I shouldn't of let him talk me out of bringing him over."
"Stop it! Both of you!" Arthit screams, "I don't want either of you blaming yourself for something you couldn't fvcking control! That freak wanted him. It was just a matter of time for him to do this. So stop fvcking blaming yourself! Do you hear me?!?" Even Knott nods his head at this.
Bright, Tutah, and N'Jett are the next to arrive and don't say anything when they find all of us sitting on the bed with Arthit pacing in front of us.
N'Aim and Tee follow P'Dear and P'Win in taking in the scene and giving each other confused looks since nobody is talking.
N'Tew, N'Oak, and the three girls come in last. They look around the room and sit on the floor against Arthit's closet. The others seeing them sit, also find a place on the floor.
I toss out Wad's backpack and throw his phone on top of it. The girls gasp.
"Where was it?" P'Dear asks, looking troubled.
"Against the dorm," I say with a ragged breath, "I saw it when I came over. N'Wad said he could walk across the street by himself. I knew I should not have let him go. I should have taken him across the street. It is all my..."
"Fvcking, stop it!" Arthit snarls, "Nobody is blaming you!"
"How are we going to track him if he doesn't have his phone?" N'Oak asks.
"We don't track him," P'Win says, "Didn't you guys clone that Dean guy's phone?"
"Yeah, we did," P'Dear answers. I had forgotten about that. Maybe we can find Wad.
"Did you place a way to track him on his phone?" Tee asks.
Once again, P'Dear nods as he pulls out his phone to call someone.
"Ai'Rin, I need you to track a phone," P'Dear says, "No, both of them. We are not sure which one it will be." Shit! I didn't even think about the fruit. Wasn't he in custody? "Ok, send it to me when you have it."
"Ai'Knott, let's go see if we can convince the security here to let us see the cameras," Bright says as he gets up. "N'Aim and N'Oak, just in case, see if you can access them." N'Aim and N'Oak nod as they go over to N'Kong's laptop.
"P'Knott. P'Bright," N'Prae gets up, "Let me go with you. You never know what a pretty girl can do." She smiles at them, and the other girls nod. I feel useless just sitting here on the bed.
"Let me go," I call out.
"No," Knott tells me firmly, "I don't need to worry about you. You stay here and wait."
Stay here and wait. How the fvck do I do that? Wad is missing!
A few minutes after Knott, Bright, and N'Prae left, P'Dear's phone sounds, and he looks at the notification frowning. "N'Kiwi's last location was the police station. It is not on now."
"What about P'Dean's," I ask.
"Here. About an hour to an hour and a half ago," P'Dear states as he runs his hand through his hair, "He has turned it off. So we will have to wait for him to turn it back on."
"So P'Dean has him," I say as I sink to the floor. N'Maprang and N'May come and sit next to me. They don't say anything but stay close to me. I look at them, wanting them to tell me this is just a nightmare, and I will wake up soon. That bastard has Wad.
"Should we tell his mom?" N'Kongpop asks. I look at him, wondering if we should. She will be terrified for Wad and be all alone there.
"Let's wait," I reply, "I don't want to scare her just yet."
After about ten minutes, Bright, Knott, and N'Prae walk back in.
"Nongs," Bright says, "You can stop. They let us look." He stops and looks at me. "It was P'Dean. But someone was driving the car for him. We couldn't see them. We got the plates, in case we go to the police."
"What about the phones?" Knott asks. This is my worst nightmare. I just want to wake up and all this not be real. Please.
"His phone was here but is off now," P'Dear explains, "Ai'Rin will monitor it and tell us if it comes back on."
"P'Knott," N'Aim questions, "How long did you go back on the video?"
"Just to when we saw P'Dean take him," Knott answers, "Why?"
"N'Aim, we need to go back farther," N'Jett stands up, "They had to be waiting for him. We need to see if the driver ever showed his face." N'Aim and N'Oak nod their heads.
"That is what I was thinking," N'Aim says as he turns back to the computer.
"Can I see the car?" I ask.
"P'Bright, when did you see the car?" N'Oak asks as he pulls up the video. How did they access it so fast?
"08:42:58," Bright rattles off. "Not that camera, N'Oak. You need the camera on this side of the building."
"But if they were on that side," N'Maprang puts in, "They wouldn't be allowed to park there."
"Yeah," N'May points in another direction. "They could have parked over there. Is there a camera on that side?"
"Ai'Kong," N'Aim calls over to his friend who has been sitting staring out the window at his dorm, "Stop sulking and get P'Arthit's laptop and pull up the cameras. We need more eyes."
N'Kongpop stands and picks up his boyfriend's laptop. Arthit walks over to N'Kongpop, making him sit as he takes the laptop from him.
"Nongs," Arthit growls, "You are not the only ones who know how to do this." Sitting down on his bed next N'Kongpop, who rests his head on his boyfriends' shoulder. N'Oak goes over and quickly accesses the cameras for Arthit.
Watching all of my friends working on finding Wad, I feel fvcking useless! I am sitting here doing nothing. N'Prae had joined the girls sitting with me when she came back. I hadn't realized that N'May was holding my hand until I look in my lap. N'Maprang had moved closer and put her arm around me.
Tutah walks over, handing me a bottle of pink milk. I look at him and raise an eyebrow in question.
"We are in the little monster's room," Tutah smiles, "What else would be in his fridge? Besides, the sweet will help. So drink." I take it numbly and begin to drink. It, at least, gave me something to do.
"I just DM'd everyone I could on social media," Tee says, looking up from his phone, "Asking if they had seen him. I didn't want to do anything public. I was afraid he might follow someone and find out. Does anyone have a charger? My phone is about dead after that." N'Kongpop points to the nightstand, and Tee goes to plug in his phone. Sitting on the bed as he replies to incoming messages.
"Ai'Bright, is this the car," Arthit asks, and I look over at my friend. Bright nods when Arthit turns the laptop to show him. Arthit turns the screen so I can see. That fvcking son of a bitch!
"That is his father's car. I remember it from that time I visited N'Wad's house. His father was there to confront him about dating a guy. That car was parked outside of his mom's house," I hiss, "I can't believe his father helped that bastard kidnap N'Wad?" I try to stand up, and N'Prae sits on me so I can't get up. N'May and N'Maprang are both helping her hold me down. "Get off of me!"
"No, P'Prem," N'Prae states firmly, "We need to find out who was driving first before we run off chasing someone! You are just assuming it is his father. All we know for sure is it is his father's car," I growl at her, and she growls back at me. "Sit, still!" She is a fvcking girl. It is not like I can punch a fvcking girl.
"I hate you," I snarl at you.
"I know you do right now," N'Prae snarls back, "But I am not going to let my friend's boyfriend do something stupid! So deal!"
"There!" N'Jett screams, "It isn't his father driving. Does anyone recognize this guy?"
Everyone rushes over, gathering around the laptop. N'Prae lets me get up and look with everyone. From the shaking heads, nobody seems to recognize the guy in question.
When I look at the guy, I realize I have seen him. He was in a picture in Wad's room at home. Wad said he was his best friend until P'Dean had destroyed his life.
"We need to go to Pattaya City," I tell everyone, "He is taking N'Wad back home."
"Why do you say that?" P'Dear asks. I am looking back at the screen.
"That guy driving was N'Wad's best friend before P'Dean, and they are in his father's car," I explain. "If he is doing this without his father's knowledge, he has to get the car back so he won't cause suspicion."
"How the hell will we all get there?" N'Aim questions. "There are sixteen of us!"
"I will go," I say as I head for the door only to be blocked by Knott. "Let me fvcking go!"
"We all go," P'Knott says calmly, "We are going to have to search for him, so you are going to need more than just you, Ai'Prem."
"Then, tell me how we are going to go?" I snarl. "Sixteen people. How the fvck are we going to manage that?!? I need to leave now!"
"Is the company van still in Bangkok?" N'Kongpop says to someone on the phone. We all turn to look at him as he holds a hand up to us. "The one that holds twenty? Some friends and I need to go to Pattaya City for a group project, and we thought it would be fun to travel together. It is. Can you send it to my faculty at the university now? Thanks, Dad. Tell mom I will come home next weekend. Bye," N'Kongpop looks at us with a smile. "Dad is sending the van. It should be here in twenty minutes if traffic isn't too bad." Arthit is gaping at his boyfriend, and he is not the only one in the room.
"Ok, we have less than fifteen minutes if anyone needs to go to their dorms and get something before we leave. We will meet at the faculty," P'Tutah says, looking at his watch. "We will leave without you. So get your asses there!" Everyone nods their heads before they leave to get what they need before we go.
Arthit looks at me, "We will get him back, Ai'Prem. That fvcking bastard picked the wrong group to mess with."
"I am going to get him back," I sigh. I push all the other bad thoughts from my mind and focus on that thought. Me getting my Wad back.
