DECEMBER 25 YEAR 19
I went to visit my aunt earlier today. At the neighbourhood where Kai once lived. I past his house and sure enough it's there, in ruins including the houses next to it.
My aunt, Cynthia, was half-korean and half-american because she was an adopted child. I asked her about Kai and she said that she regretted everything she has done. Then she showed me an album of her baby photos. I asked for the ones when she was at my age. She was confused but she let me anyways.
We talked some more and we avoided the topic about Kai. Then she suddenly talked about the incident that happened at house 12, Kai's house (but I didn't tell her it was where he lived). She said she was on her way home from looking for a new vehicle when she saw this SUV scurrying out of the neighbourhood and nearly drove into her. It was an hour before the explosion. I then asked her if she could remember the model of the vehicle.
A Ford F150 Limited.
She could remember it because it was the same SUV as what she was looking for. It was the same SUV that man who I saw killed Kai's family was in.
