A/N: Ladies and gentleman, the new cast above! Well, it's not really new, I mean, I only changed three people. I just want to get this off my chest, but, a few people have been saying on the FIRST cast list that my cast needed improvement. Now, I know, it was the not the BEST but... my characters don't HAVE to be "hot" or good looking. I changed around some people just to make you guys happy, but I honestly think that my first cast looked good. This isn't written to offend someone, but, I just wanted to point it out. Love you all! ♡
CHAPTER FORTY-ONE | OUR PRINCESS IN SHINING COFFEE

"I don't have a good vibe around those guys," Amber muttered beside me.
It has been three days since the incident with the gang. Three days since Vanessa apologized to me, which, I decided to forgive her. I can't really stay mad at her for the rest of my life, but, I'll try and not to get too close to her. Three days since West said he loved me. I'm sure you get it. Now, I'm back at work, but today was not a normal day.
"Yeah, no dip Amber," Xavier said, rolling his eyes. We were watching four guys, acting very immature. They were really loud, like, really loud. Other people were getting very uncomfortable since their jokes were dirty, others were getting annoyed since they were doing their work, even a few left because of them! It's only been five minutes since they got in here, and they're already causing chaos.
"I'm not ordering for them. Someone has to kick them out," Amber said, leaving me and Xavier alone. Xavier looked at me and gave me a little push as I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at him with disbelief.
"You're the boss!" I told him sharply.
"Yeah, but this will help you. Things like this always happen! I suggest you give it a try and kick them out or tell them to be quieter," he said calmly. I look back at them and shake my head.
"They're college kids though," I said.
"I'm right here with you. Also, your friends are right next to them," he said, pointing his thumb at Ethan, Carter and Jaxon. I followed his thumb and pursed my lips. Ethan kept clenching his jaw and fist at them, obviously annoyed, Carter was glaring and Jaxon was mouthing 'get a life' at them.
I laughed at Jaxon, before glancing over at Xavier, and walking over to them. I coughed for the guy's attention, and all of them were looking at me. Carter widens his eyes, while he stood up, but Jaxon pulled him down and mouthed 'get your popcorn ready.'
"I'm sorry but you guys are being really loud. You're all disturbing other customers, please, just stop," I said, gritting my teeth. They were quiet until one of them stood up, laughing, before swinging his arm over my shoulders.
"I suggest you, to shut your mouth sweetheart," he said, getting close to my face. I rolled my eyes, before staring at his hand. I looked between his hand and him before I slowly picked up his finger up and dropped it.
"Well, I suggest you... uh, t-to keep your arms to yourself, mister," I said. I nodded my head smirking, before sticking my hand out to Carter for him to high five, but he just shook his head and said that was awful.
Another guy looked me up and down and wolf whistled. Which made me shiver in return. "The names Leo, what's your name honey?"
"It's none of your business. I'm not here to make friends, I'm warning you guys. If you aren't going to be quieter, then I might as well kick you all out," I said, crossing my arms. Ethan let out a low whistle, as Jaxon clapped.
"You go, sister!" Jaxon exclaimed. I couldn't help but laugh a little.
"Are you guys her friends or something? 'Cause if you aren't will you all just shut the hell up and mind your own damn business?" The guy who put his arm around me said. I clenched my jaw and looked at Xavier.
"Can I hit him?" I asked. The dude looked confused while Xavier nodded furiously. I quickly stomped on the guy's foot as he groaned and started bouncing up and down.
"Don't talk to them like!" I whispered lowly.
The guy looked at me with glaring eyes, "You'll be sorry. Come on guys, this girl is freaking psycho!"
All of them ran out of the cafe, as I smiled to myself. As I watched them leave, I turned around as all the customers stared at me. Then, Ethan started clapping, then Jaxon and Carter, and soon on, the whole cafe clapped. I laughed, blushing slightly.
"Thank you, thank you. Sorry for the disturbance, all of you may get back to your drinks!" I announced. I walked over to Xavier - who was grinning proudly - as the room filled with chatter.
"That was great Norah! I'm so proud," he said. I laughed as Amber came out of the staff's room, and looked over at where the guys were. She furrowed her eyebrows as she came over to us.
"What happened to the guys?" She asked.
"I have the video!" Jaxon yelled from across the room. I did a double take, rolling my eyes. Amber and I went over as Jaxon showed it to us. Once it ended, Amber was nodding her head while smirking.
"Wow, great job. You're not as innocent as you look you know," she said.
"You have no idea," Carter said, shaking his head.
"Why does she have to be so pretty?" Jaxon asked while Amber walked away. I laughed, sitting down on the other side.
"She's four years older than you. But, a guy can dream," I said. He sighed, looking at her dreamily.
"And she's way out of your league," Carter muttered. I couldn't help but stifle my laughter as Jaxon snapped out of it and punched Carter in the arm.
"Thanks for standing up for us Norah," Ethan said, changing the topic. He gave me a thin smile as I gave him a bright smile.
"Yeah you're like our princess in shining coffee," Jaxon said. We all gave him a confused look.
"You know, 'cause you work in a coffee shop, and you're a princess instead of a knight. Like the saying, 'you're my knights in shining armour.' Except it's 'you're our princess in shining coffee," he explained. I nodded, understanding.
"That's probably the smartest thing you've ever said," Ethan said, nodding.
Before they could start arguing, I cut them off with a laugh, "No problem. Nobody messes with you guys. If somebody wants to mess with you three, they have to get through me first."
They all laughed as I thought of something random, "Hey, do you guys hang out with Adam?"
Carter snorted, "Of course not. Why would we and why did you ask?"
I thought it over, "Well, no reason, I was just wondering."
Ethan narrowed his eyes. As he was about to say something, "Norah, get your pretty little ass over here. Your break time is over!"
I heated up as all three of them glared at Xavier, "I'm into guys!"
"Then start act liking it!" Carter shouted back. Blushing, I flashed the guys a quick smile before scurrying over to Xavier.
"Weirdo," I muttered, walking past him. He just chuckled in return as he went to order people.
▪| A FEW HOURS LATER |▪
"You know, you guys didn't have to stay," I told them, smiling weakly. They shook their heads, Jaxon smiling.
"No, of course, we have to. We'll do it every day, your brother told us we have to," he said. I raised an eyebrow, giving them a look of confusion.
"We were in school when Emmet suddenly ran up to us. He asked if we were your friends and we said. Then he said he wouldn't be able to pick you up, so he asked us if we could walk you home. Of course, we said yes," Ethan explained.
I couldn't help but feel like a burden, "I-I'm flattered. I really am, but you guys don't have to do this every day. I wouldn't mind going home myself--,"
"Nonsense," Carter spoke, cutting me off, "we don't care Norah. We really want to do this, please, just let us. It's dangerous at night, we wouldn't want for you to get hurt and be responsible."
I sighed, "Look, I can handle myself."
"Just let us walk you home, we don't care!" Jaxon exclaimed, annoyed at this point. I clenched my jaw, before nodding my head slowly.
"Fine, whatever," I muttered.
I walked into the staffs' only room and picked up my hoodie and backpack. I quickly checked my phone, and saw a text from West:
Whatever.
I laughed, sending him a text saying I'll be home soon with the guys. Amber and Xavier left early, no one was in the shop except for me, the guys and Giovanni.
I took off my apron and threw it into the box, before putting my hoodie on and slipping on my backpack. I left the staffs only room, before knocking Giovanni's door.
"I'm leaving," I said through the door. A faint 'okay!' was heard.
I walked over to the door, nodding at the guys to come.
Once we were out, we all started walking peacefully. "Sorry for yelling at you Norah."
I looked over at Jaxon and smiled, "I'm not mad at you Jaxon, it's okay."
He sighed, looking relieved, as Carter looked at me worried, "Aren't you cold?"
I looked down at my outfit. I was wearing some black tights, my hoodie that wasn't really keeping me warm, and my shoes that were two years old.
"No, I'm fine," I said, lying.
Ethan sighed, taking his jacket off and handing it to me, "Put it on."
I furrowed my eyebrows, "What about you?"
"Don't worry about me," he said. I could see his cheeks and ears getting a little pink. I smiled and put on his jacket.
"Thanks, Ethan," I said.
"Aw, come on! Why do you always give him your attention? Give me attention!" Jaxon whined. I pursed my lips, shaking my head.
"I like you all equally," I said, but quickly adding, "as friends of course."
Jaxon leaned over to Carter and whispered into his ear, "We definitely just got friend zoned."
"What?" I asked, looking at him.
"Nothing."
As we neared my neighbourhood, I heard a voice, "It's her!"
We all turned around to see... Tyler and his gang!
"Well, well, well," he said, holding the baseball bat in his hand, which made me and the others tense, "if it isn't Norah herself. Sister of the Carries."
"Norah, you know these guys?" Ethan asked, looking as calm as ever.
"M-maybe."
"Who are those guys, sweetheart?" The guy asked, who I recognized as Cameron.
I tapped Carters back, looking at them with panic in my eyes. "Run!"
We all turned around and started running for our lives. I heard the sound of feet stomping behind us, so, I turned my head and luckily they weren't anywhere near us.
Jeez, they were slow as heck.
"You have a lot of explaining to do," Jaxon said, as we entered my neighbourhood.

A/N: A lot of talking to do, am I right?
First, let's talk about Norah. Did you think she did a good job of kicking those guys out? I think she deserves an award. I don't know what for, but for something.
Next, should we talk about how cute Norah and the guys are? Honestly, I just made this chapter for the Norah and guys shippers. What should their ship name be all together?

Honestly, that's impossible, lol.
