"ᴛʜᴇ ᴏɴᴇ ᴛʜɪɴɢ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴍᴇ ɪs ᴛʜᴀᴛ ɪ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴇᴠᴇɴ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴡʜᴇʀᴇ ɪ'ʟʟ ᴇɴᴅ ᴜᴘ, ᴀɴᴅ ɪ ᴅᴏɴ'ᴛ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪ'ʟʟ ʙᴇ ᴅᴏɪɴɢ ʙᴜᴛ ɪ ᴋɴᴏᴡ ᴛʜᴀᴛ ɪ'ʟʟ ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ ʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ sᴛᴏᴘ."
No one wanted to believe it. It was like a blink of an eye when it happened. Ash had thought breaking Olivia from the spell would save her, only for her to fall to her faith. He wasn't even allowed to grief as the fate of not only Kalos, but the entire world depended on him.
He clenched his fists and stood up with his head held high. Olivia's death will not be a waste. It was a sad sacrifice that no one wanted to happen.
Ash knew Olivia would have been satisfied on how it happened because she put the little bit of effort in trying to save the world. If stopping her meant saving the world then she would have wanted that, but not him. He would have found another way to stop the control, but with limited time he had no choice.
"Let's save Chespie." Ash said looking at the rock that continued its way towards the Sundial.
"Alright everyone lets try to clear a path for Ash and Alain to get to that rock." Diantha shouted and everyone with their pokemon ran towards the rock. The vines moved quick and tried to stop them from getting any closer.
"Pikachu and Glitter use Iron tail! Greninja use cut!" Ash shouted.
"Charizard use flamethrower!" Alain shouted.
The pokemon attacked the many vines as best as they could but the vines only grew quicker and attacked them. Valerie the Laverre City gym leader along with Olympia Anistar city gym leader were first to help make the path as their pokemon destroyed some of the vines. Sadly they were grabbed by the vines with no way of escape. They urged Ash and Alain to keep going no matter what.
Next was Korrina the Shalour City gym leader along with Ramos the Couramine city gym leader to help make a path. Ash was sad to watch them get captured as well but he kept going.
The vines were quick to try to attack Alain and Ash, but with the help of Viola and Grant they were able to continue on. Grant used his Pokemon to make a steady rock wall for Ash and Alain to climb onto to get to the huge rock faster. As they climbed the rock wall the vines were quick to reach up and attack, but got frozen from Wulfric and his Pokemon. Alain and Ash were able to get to the top of the rock wall and saw the huge rock close by. Just a little bit more and they will be at the huge oncoming rock. Former Champion Diantha and Former Champion Steven were by Ash and Alain's side clearing the path towards the rock. They had both their pokemon use Psychic power to control the vines from attacking Ash and Alain.
They were at the peak of the rock and saw the water Shurkien in sight. It would need to take a lot of power to break through that rock, and there was no time to waste.
Ash felt the strong support from everyone and his Pokemon, but most of all he felt the support of Olivia on his shoulders and that's what gave him a confidence boost.
"Pikachu use Electro ball! Greninja use water shurkien!! Glitter use Volt tackle!" Ash shouted.
"Charizard use Flamethrower!" Alain shouted. He too had much motivation, from Marin. His main priority was to get Chespie back for Marin and that's exactly what he was going to do. He felt like that was a way to redeem himself, so he wasn't going to let anything stop him.
Electro ball, Water Shurkein, Volt tackle, and Flamethrower manage to break through the center of the rock where Marin's Chespie was. The two trainers entered the core of the rock and looked at the unconscious Chespie. The crystals inside were beginning to attack Alain and Ash preventing them to get closer.
" I will take care of it, you grab Chespie." Ash said looking at Alain who had nodded and ran straight for Chespie.
Both of the Pikachu, Greninja, and Charziard with the orders from Ash attacked the crystals that were stopping Alain from getting closer to Chespie. Alain dodges many attempts of getting attacked and leaped over the last crystal grabbing onto Chespie. With the help of the four pokemon they broke Chespie out and escaped the rock.
All the vines had stopped once Chespie had broke free. The gym leaders broke out of being held back by the vines and watched as Ash and Alain made their way towards them.
Alain was quick to hand over Chespie to its rightful owner who was crying slightly overjoyed that her Chespie was perfectly fine. She looked at Alain with so much feeling of passion that she blushed and looked down, not forgeting to thank Alain who just smiled back at the girl.
Ash wanted to celebrate, but his mind kept going back to the sad event that occurred. He has lost the love of his life, and he won't know when he will ever be happy again. His whole life all that meant to him was battling and becoming stronger along side his Pokemon. Yes that still made him happy more than ever, but there was another source of happiness that he didn't want to lose....love. Love for the outgoing, stubborn, yet beautiful girl he has grown to love. After all they have been through to finally getting together and showing it off in public, he lost her. His thoughts were cut off by the sound of Steven's voice.
"Now all we have left is this gigantic mess." Steven said pointing at the huge rock thst caused a lot of trouble for them today.
"Let's combine all of our power to destroy it." Diantha said.
"Great idea." Professor Sycamore says and everyone formed a line along with their pokemon. Everyone of their pokemon let out their own special attack, their moves together had combined and smashed into the rock. It had tipped over but it didn't shatter.
"Is it over?" Ash asked.
"Nothing happened." Alain said.
The huge rock then stood once more, with a very familar face at the top.
"So it's true." Ash spat angrily. He felt nothing but hatred towards the man. The man who took away the love of his life.
"It's Lysandre." Malva said.
The man stood proudly at the top of his rock and pointed the device on his arm towards the sundial.
"I told you I won't let you stop me. I will put an end to this world." Lysandre spoke with anger in his tone. He was rather tired of these silly games and wanted to get this over with.
The huge rock blasted a powerful beam towards the Sundial, but Valerie the Laverre city gym leader stepped in.
"Spritzee use light screen!" Valerie shouts and a giant protective shield covered everyone and the Sundial's path. The beam crashes into the protective shield but doesn't get the chance to harm the Sundial, but it does send everyone back crashing on to the ground.
Lysandre charges up the device on his wrist and aims for the Sundial once more.
Everyone stands up trying their best to do it quickly and look around.
"I think whatever is controlling that thing is on Lysandre's wrist." Clemont says making everyone look at Lysandre's wrist.
"We're going to have to use whatever we got left in us to destroy it." Diantha says as everyone gathers around her.
"Let's give it all we got for kalos!" Steven shouts and that gets everyone pumped up. Lysandre makes the rock fire another strong beam and everyone counters with their own attacks taking a lot of energy out of them. Everyone stands around weakly, but Lysandre and the rock look more okay than ever.
Clemont and Bonnie stand together but they notice Blaziken man is hurt, they go to help him when his mask falls off in front of them. They both gasp as they watch the man stand before them.
"Dad!?" They say shocked and their father laughs.
"Yeah, it's me." He says and they both engulf him into their arms, and it becomes a group hug.
Squishy and Z-2 jump out of Bonnie's arms and Bonnie goes to grab them but her father stops her. The two Z cores begin to glow a bright green as they absorb cells from all around. They begin to merge into Zygarde completed form, and every gasps at the scene in front of them.Lysandre grows angry as he watches Zygarde show off its new form.
"All this time you had this form, and choose now to show it!? Have you not noticed the selfish ways of these humans!? If I haven't brought up my objectives these humans would have continued on to their selfish ways. You chose now to protect what's left of this world! You have no right!" Lysandre shouts at Zygarde who shocks everyone as it begins to speak.
"This world belongs to them! They took care of me, they promised to never leave my side. Now I choose to return the favor." Zygarde says.
"I will incinerate you!" Lysandre shouts and the rocks fires at Zygarde who counters with its own attack.Vines begin to attack Zygarde who tries it's best to fend them off.
"Ash..." Bonnie says tugging on his arm and he looks down at the blonde girl.
"What is it bonnie?" Ash asks her but tries to focus on the battle in front of them.
"Your pendant is glowing." She says pointing at his pendant and everyone turns their attention at what she said, and it's true. The pendant which hasn't glowed since what happened began to glow both amber and blue.
"That's impossible." Professor Sycamore says.
"Does that mean..." Olivia's mother mumble.
The sound of a roar cuts her off and everyone looks to see both an alive Nebby running their way with Olivia hanging on. Both their eyes glow a bright blue and they use Searing Sunraze Smash to attack the rock.
"Hope I'm not late." Olivia says looking back at the others who look at her in pure shock. She winks their way then turns to Lysandre.
"Hey you hair spray loving fool! It's time to pay for what you have done." She shouts at the angry man.
"Thanks to you we turned that control power into a power of our own. My new enhance senses will stop you from creating more destruction." Olivia says standing up on Nebby. Her hands glow a faint blue that matches her glowing eyes and she smirks.
"You treated us like circus animals. Didn't care about what we felt, as long as we did as we were told. You stepped on the lion's neck Lysandre. But that's the whole issue here." Olivia says cracking her knuckles and Nebby steadied his stance.
"The problem with putting your foot on a Lion's neck is you can never let it up. Nebby lets show him our new Mega Roar." Olivia says and Nebby snarls it's teeth at Lysandre. Olivia moves her hands sort of like a new Z-move, that they made on their own. Nebby and Olivia then fire a beam at Lysandre who lifted his wrist to block but that machine on his wrist shattered and falls to the ground.
Olivia then looks to Zygarde who floats down beside her, she nods at the Dragon pokemon then jumps off of Nebby. She places the Solganium Z crystal on her Z-Ring and does the movements to Searing Sunraze smash and both Nebby and Zygarde attack the giant rock destroying it completely.
Nebby lands near Olivia and pushes a paw out for her to stay behind him. Zygarde then shoots one last beam at Lysandre and the giant rock making them vanish completely.
Olivia lets out a sigh of relief as all the vines disappear with the help of Zygarde. She's grateful to have witness another day in kalos. She believed this was the best region she's explored, she had a lot of fun here, met amazing people, and found love. What more could she have asked for?
She heard Ash's plea, and that's what saved her compeltely it made her fight through the control. It made her stronger than ever.
"O-Oliva..." She heard a faint voice call out for her. She turned towards everyone but one person stood out the most. Everyone watched as the girl with tears running down her face run to the love of her life. She jumped into his arms and he wrapped his arms tightly around her, and he swore to himself he will never let her go.
Olivia pulled away when she felt the boy's body shake. He was slightly crying and it made her frown.
"I thought...I lost you. I watched you fall, and I thought that was the end. That I wasn't going to see your beautiful smile anymore, or hear your loud laugh, or hold you close to me. The pain was indescribable. Olivia I don't ever want to lose you, you mean the world to me." Ash spoke and Olivia just smiled at the raven haired kid, but what caught her attention was something really shocking.
"Are you wearing contacts?" She asks ruining the romantic moment.
"No...why?" He asked.
"Your eyes....they're amber...and Blue." She mumbles still in shock as she looked into his multicolored eyes.
"So are yours!" Ash exclaimed as he stared into her eyes.
"That's something to get used too." Clemont chuckles from the side and Olivia goes to pull him in for a hug.
"Oh, I've missed you guys." Olivia says and Bonnie hugs her waist.
"I'm so glad you're alive." Bonnie says and Olivia laughs.
"Thanks bonnie." Olivia says.
"Bonnie." Zygarde speaks out as it seperates into two separate cores again.
"Squishy!" Bonnie exclaims and runs over standing in front of the two cores as they levitate above her.
"I am so grateful, and so happy to have met you. You have taught me so much about humans. You took really good care of me to which I thank you." Squshiy says to Bonnie who has tears falls down her cheeks and she tries many times to wipe them away.
"I'm so happy I got to meet you too...is this really a goodbye?" Bonnie asks her smile turning to a frown and squishy chuckles.
"I'm actually really tired, and I would love a long rest in the sun." Squishy says and Bonnie nods understanding. She's a little sad but she knows one day she will meet her friend again.
"This won't be the last time Bonnie, I promise." Squishy says as both cores rise higher into the air and Bonnie waves.
"Goodbye Squishy!! I love you." She calls out to the pokemon who then vanishes and she smiles turning towards the others.
"I know for a fact, that you're going to be a great trainer one day Bonnie. The way you took care of both Dedenne and Squishy shows true dedication to Pokemon." Olivia says as she squats down in front of Bonnie wiping her tears away.
"I hope when I go on my own journey Squishy will be a part of my team." Bonnie says excitedly and we all laugh.
"I think that might just happen, look at me! Nebby and I traveled together. I never been more proud of him." Olivia says patting Nebby's leg who just roars scaring the gym leaders and the others making Olivia laugh.
"I'm just glad I got exactly what I wanted." Ash says holding Olivia's hands in his as the others join the gym leaders, giving the lovebirds a moment alone.
"What's that??" Olivia ask.
"I have a tomorrow with you." He says pulling Olivia in placing his lips gently on her's and she deepens the kiss as she wraps her arms around his neck pulling him closer. They both hear clapping and whistling and pull away while laughing. Olivia's eyes begin to water as her eyes meets her mother's. She pulls away from Ash running over to her mother tackling her into a hug. They both sob into each other's arms, both glad that the other is okay.
"You shouldn't let that boy go, he's a real keeper." Her mother says to her as they both look at Ash who is smiling at Pikachu.
"Trust me I won't, I would be stupid to do that." Olivia says then looks down to see her pendant shining. Ash's attention turns to his pendant as well seeing it glowing too. He then looks around until his eyes lock with hers. They both smile at each other and meet in the middle for another hug and kiss. It's like they were magnetic and could never separate. Who could blame them they almost lost each other, and they don't ever want to lose each other.
"The scars on Lumiose City are very deep. It may take a long time to fix them, but I'm sure if everyone pitches in, there will be no problem." Clemont says and the group nods in agreement. They all sit there and enjoy watching the sunrise, truly meaning that they were able to live another day in Kalos.

★ᴏʟɪᴠɪᴀ's ᴘᴏɪɴᴛ ᴏғ ᴠɪᴇᴡ★
After what everyone has been through the last couple days, we needed a little rest. Of course that didn't happen. Everyone was so determined to get Lumoise City back to normal.
I know once I'm finished helping in any way that I can, I have to leave. There's a lot I have to do in Alola. The start on construction of all the stadiums for the Pokemon showcases. I also have to take back my place as Alolan champion no doubt about that. I know Ash's time isn't finished here yet which I don't mind. I know I'll see him in Alola very soon.
Everyone was fixing the gym battle field downstairs, but Clemont was trying his best to fix Clembot. I wanted to check to see how he was doing.
I knocked on the door and entered slowly. "Working hard?" I asked as I watched Clemont work on Clembot. He seemed a little surprised to see me but smiled my way anyway.
"Yeah, just a few more things that needs to be taken care of before Clembot can battle." Clemont says.
"Just because Clembot lost his memory, doesn't mean he won't be the same. He's still here with you, the best part about this is that you can start fresh and make new and better memories. Those old memories will never fade, they always be apart of you." I say resting a hand on his shoulder and he nods.
"Thanks Olivia. I sure am going to miss you." He says turning towards me and I bit my lip holding back a huge grin.
"Actually....another reason I came up here to see you was for another reason." I said and Clemont looks at me weirdly.
"What is it?" He asks.
"It's a secret so you can't tell anyone." I say lowering my voice making his eyes widen and he nods nervously.
"When I first came to Kalos I wanted to be a performer, rather competing in the league. I wanted to give battling a break, since I've been doing it for so long." I explain and sit down and he turns to face me and nods for me to continue.
"Performing gave me a new perspective, I enjoyed watching people enjoy my performances. I was so happy that I got the chance to entertain people with my pokemon. Becoming Kalos queen was just an added bonus. Pokemon performing is something I never want to part from, so I want to bring it to Alola." I say and he looks at me confused.
"What do you mean?" He asks.
"My cousin Professor KuKui had a dream of adding new traditions to Alola. So he had the Pokemon league built. Now I want to add my little detail to Alola as well. I got the approval to start Pokemon showcases in Alola!!" I cheer then cover my mouth from being to loud and Clemont and I both laugh.
"I don't understand what that has to do with me?" Clemont asks and I smirk.
"In order to have Pokemon performances, stadiums all over Alola have to built. I want to add my own little twist though and there is no other inventor that I trust more to help me make this dream a reality than you Clemont. I want your help into doing all the computer stuff and everything else that you can to build these stadiums.....what do you say?" I ask feeling a little afraid that he might turn me down. He's silent for awhile so I speak up.
"Once Clembot is up and ready to be substitute gym leader it will give you the chance. Bonnie will be happy to come to Alola as well I just know it. With Ash coming to Alola it's like we will all be together again." I say and he nods.
"That's true." He mumbles.
"Serena...well there's no other person I rather share this experience with but her. With her creative ideas, I know she can help me run this. It will be a great a new experience for her to start somewhere fresh. I haven't talked to anyone about this yet though." I said.
"Can I get back to you on that? It sounds like a great idea, but I want to think it through." Clemont says and I jump up excitedly.
"Sure take all the time you need! Thank you for at least thinking about it Clemont!" I squeal and pull him in for a big hug.
"I should go talk to Serena, I'll see you later." I say waving then running out of the room. Just think we were all sad that we were going to be separating, but with my idea we don't have to. I hope we can all can come to an agreement on this.
