dan traced his pointer finger over phil's cheek before cupping his jaw and giving him a long kiss. dan's arm was positioned so the crook of his elbow was rested against the back of phil's neck in order to have the ability to pull his lover tighter against him. it seemed like they couldn't get any closer, practically their entire bodies pressing against each other.
dan pulled away to rest his forehead against phil's, eyes still closed and sighed out, "you never fail to take my breath away. we say that to each other a lot, but i mean it."
"as do i," phil agreed. "i'm in love with you and everything you do." dan grinned at the words he always craved to hear. he will admit: phil had converted him a bit. never had he thought he would be a hopeless romantic, those love chasers who wanted to be wooed with roses and chocolates, but he would do anything for phil. he wanted to give phil all of those silly things that are commercial even though they are not necessary for loving someone.
"i was just going to say something really sappy. i always seem to want to say extremely cheesy things when you're around," dan giggled. "i think it's becoming a problem. i may be hanging around you too much."
"that sucks, doesn't it?"
"no, but i do."
