Nate and Serena wouldn't stop giggling behind the group. Don't get me wrong I'm happy about the whole situation, like I can finally tell Ash how I really feel about him and why I said no the first time, but they're annoying.
Plus, I want to wait maybe until after the league to tell him. It's better not to distract him nor myself.
Ash doesn't seem bothered by the two, so that must mean he didn't have feelings for Serena. I could be wrong though, he could just be really good at hiding his real emotions. We all know Ash can be dense, maybe he just wants people to believe he's dense when he's really not.
I don't know...I'm just over the whole situation. I want to talk to Serena before I even say anything to Ash. I want to be on the same page as her where I know she has no more feelings for Ash, and that if it's okay that I can make my move.
Bonnie kept humming right next to me, but she has this frustrated look on her face that had me concerned. We decided to stop and have lunch by this stream. Squishy jumped out of Bonnie's bag and jump over a few rocks that were in the water and layed down to get some sunshine.
Clemont and Serena were making lunch since I made breakfast this morning. Nate and Ash were helping set the table for us to eat at having a quiet conversation to themselves which had me wondering what they were talking about. Bonnie jumped the rocks and sat with Squishy. I decided to do the same with Glitter on my shoulders and sat on the rock in front of them.
"Penny for your thoughts?" I asked.
"I was trying to make a little song for squishy but I can't think of one. I just can only get a hum. When I came over here Squishy was very sad, so now I really want to sing him a song to cheer him up." Bonnie says and I nod.
"I have a song I used to sing to my pokemon that helped them go to sleep. My friends from home and I made it up a long time ago and we always used to sing it when we were around a fire at night. Then I started to sing it to my Pokemon whenever we felt homesick. I haven't sung it in a long time though." I say.
"Would you please sing it for me?" Bonnie asks with a small pout and I just giggle and nod. I get up and throw all my Pokeballs into the air so that all my Pokemon are out. They stand on the grass and I nod at them.
"We're singing our song, you guys ready?" I ask them and they all nod scattering around. I sit next to Bonnie with Glitter next to squishy. I start patting on my lap to get the beat started and so does my Pokemon they use anything they can find to play along with the beat.
A new adventure, another day

I start off softly and I look up to see the gang watching and I just look back at Bonnie.

We slow down the beat a bit but it's still picked up. Glitter and I run to the rest of my Pokemon and dance together happily.

I motion for Bonnie to join us and she jumps the rocks back to where we are and sings along with the chorus

"Clap with me." I say to everyone and we all start clapping.

I finish the last part and everyone starts clapping and I just bow with my Pokemon.
"That was beautiful Livy." Bonnie says and I hug her.
"Aww thanks Bonnie. Now I hope that inspired you with your song." I say and she looks off to the side thinking then nods happily at me.
I head back towards the gang and sit down at the table grabbing a plate. Bonnie comes over with Squishy and we all begin to eat.
"That was a great song Olivia." Clemont says and I smile at him.
"Thanks Clemont, my friends from home and I made it up. When I traveled I would always sing it to my Pokemon because it helped whenever we felt homesick. I haven't sang that song in a very long time. It...it just brings back a lot of memories." I say tearing up a bit smiling at all the memories that flash through my head.
"Aww don't cry." Serena says reaching across the table placing her hand on my arm and I smile at her.
"Sorry, I just really miss everyone." I say wiping away the tears from my eyes.
"You don't have to be sorry for missing home. I just left home and I already miss it. It's all so new to me and wow it's hard not to think about my friends and family back home." Nate says running a hand through his hair sighing.
"You have a lovely voice by the way." Serena says and I blush softly.
"I agree." Ash says smiling at me.
"Thanks guys." I say.

After eating all that food, I fall on the grass lazily with Glitter right next to me and we just rub our sore full stomachs. We sit back against the tree stretching.
"That was really good." I say.
"Pika pi." She says agreeing.
I hear Bonnie's humming again and look to see she's back on the rocks with Squishy and she looks over to me and I nod for her to continue.
She takes a deep breath then lets it out and sings.
Squishy and me nuzzling cheeks.
Best friends forever.
We're so happy.
I promise I'll never leave Squishy. Sweet, little Squishy.

She sings softly and I sigh closing my eyes at the beautiful song and lay down cuddling with Glitter.
She sings the song again and we just smile as we hear it. I hear someone lay next to us, and I open one eye to see Ash and Pikachu leaning back against the tree too. He smiles towards me and I smile back closing my eyes once more as Bonnie sings.
Glitter and I sit up once the song is over. I can feel goosebumps grow on my skin when Ash and I shoulders touch. I look the other way to hide my blush and see the gang finish cleaning up. I look to Bonnie who is smirking at me and I blush even harder covering my face groaning.
"What's wrong?" Ash asks as he moves his head to the side looking at me with concern and I just groan again. Stupid Ash with his stupid adorable face....stupid..stupid...
"Just a tiny headache. I think I hit my head a little on the tree when I sat down." I lie smoothly.
"Really." He says moving his hand in my hair feeling around possibly looking for a lump, and I fake a wince grabbing his wrist so that he can stop and he pulls his hand away.
"Sorry." He says and I just smile at him.
"It's fine." I say and we sit there in silence. It's not an awkward silence it's a rather peaceful silence. I hear Bonnie talking to Serena and Clemont about her being concerned that Squishy is still sad and they tell her to hold him. She goes back on the rocks speaking to squishy who does look a little down.

She sings softly to squishy who falls asleep and she just rubs his back.
"She has such a beautiful voice." I say and Ash nods with a small grin on his face and looks towards me.
"So do you." He says and I snort.
"You sure I didn't sound like a squealing tepig?" I ask and he laughs and I laugh too.
"I didn't want to mention that part buttttt...." He says playfully and I nudge him.
"Heyy!" I say and we both laugh again.
"You know, this reminds me of our little adventure, when we went swimming and we got out to dry and we just talked." He said and I avoid his eyes.
"Yeah, I really opened up too you about a lot." I say feeling rather exposed towards him. I try to hold myself thinking the feeling would go away but it doesnt. We really got to know each other when we were talking that day. It was like my mouth had no filter and I just kept spilling everything about me. He did too though so it was okay.
"Ollie?" Ash asks and I bite my lip blushing a bit because it's been so long since he called me that, it just feels so good to finally hear it again. I feel like we kinda started breaking the brick wall that's between us. It's not fully broken but it's torn down a little.
"Yes?" I say softly.
"I will wait for you. Just remember that." He says getting up. I guess that means the end of the conversation meaning I can't ask him what he means. He walks away to the group and I just sit there thinking.
"Glitter, do you like anyone?" I ask her softly. She blushes and sneaks a glance at Pikachu who is on Ash's shoulder while Ash rubs his cheek.
"If I can't make a move, I at least want you too. You deserve to be happy." I say rubbing on her head and she just let out a noise of enjoyment and nods at me then looks down sadly.
"You think he doesn't like you?" I ask her softly and she just turns away with her ears down and her tail limp.
"You never know until you try." I tell her and she looks back at Pikachu and makes her way to the rocks in the water and lays down, probably wanting to be alone. I look at Pikachu who looks over at Glitter with a concerned look on his face. He jumps off Ash's shoulder and makes his way over to me.
"Pika pi?" He says pointing towards sad glitter.
"I don't know buddy, but maybe you can cheer her up. How about you bring her this." I say picking a cute pink flower that was beside me and hand it to pikachu.
"Maybe giving her that will make her smile." I say and Pikachu smiles and makes his way with the flower towards glitter and taps her on the tail making her turn to him. She turns away from Pikachu and he taps her again and gives her the flower making her smile and snuggle against him. I see them entwine tails and I just coo at the two cuties.

"Psssst Bonnie." I call out to her and she makes her way over with Squishy after the third time I call out to her.
"What's up?" She asks.
"Look at Glitter and Pikachu." I say pointing towards the two who seem to be in their own little world.
She looks to where I'm pointing and squeals. "That's so adorable!"
"I'm glad they're happy." I say standing up.
"One day you will be happy too." She says looking up at me and I shrug.
"Yeah maybe. Now let's go we have Serena's next showcase to get to." I say and she nods. I call out to both Glitter and Pikachu and they make their happy selves back over to us and the rest of the gang smile at the new happy couple. Nate being the clown wipes away a fake tear gushing over the cute couple.

Sometimes I wished traveling didn't involve walking....because all we do is freaking walk. Don't get me wrong it's not a bad scenery and you would miss a whole lot of great sights if you traveled by car, train, boat, or plane. I guess since we've been walking for a long time I was getting pretty tried, which led to me being annoyed about the whole walking.
What's been great is that I taught my newly evolved Delphox some great battle moves. She has a good set of brand new moves and I'm excited to show them off at the next showcase....or maybe I just might save them for the Master Class.
We stopped at a pokemon center to take a nice break and eat and I pulled Serena to the side.
"You know how you asked me why do I like contests better than performances?" I asked her and she looked at me confused but nodded.
"Well, how would you feel about having a double battle with me?" I asked with excitement. I missed contests so much, I was just itching to do a battle and pretend I'm in a contest.
"Like a contest battle?" She asks with a frown on her face.
"Its easy! It's like performing and battling at the same time!" I said and her faced brightens up and she nods excitedly.
"Great!" I cheer.
"What's going on?" Bonnie asks as she walks over to us.
"I asked Serena to do a make pretend contest battle with me." I say.
"Contests were popular in Unova, I tried it once to get to know the feeling but quit because it really wasn't my taste." Nate says as he also walks over to us.
"I never seen a contest battle before." Clemont says as he and Ash walk over to us.
"My two good friends that I used to travel with were both into contests they were really good coordinators." Ash says then stops looking at us. "Wait, why are we talking about contest battles?" Ash asks.
"Oliva and I are going to do a make pretend contest battle." Serena says.
"Cool, that will be fun to watch." Ash says.
"Let's head out back." I say standing up from where I was seated and the gang follow me outside the pokemon center and to a battlefield out back. I stand on one side and Serena stands on the next.
"You did say a double battle right?" Serena asks nervously and I nod.
"You know we don't have to do this if you really don't want to." I tell her and she shakes her head quickly.
"No! no! It's fine I'm just worried I won't do it right." She admits and I nod understandingly.
"I started contests when I was in the Hoenn region. I finally made it to the grand festival which is like the master class and I lost. I was so disappointed in myself. I went home and hid in my room for three straight weeks." I say sadly looking down as I remember the pain when I had looked at the scoreboard to see that I lost.
"I was so sad, it took my good friends to bring me out of my darkness and tell me about contests in the Sinnoh region. I got off my butt and did the League and contests and became top coordinator and Sinnoh Champion." I say with a huge smile on my face.
"That a good lesson to learn, when you fall just pick yourself up and keep going forward." Clemont says and I nod.
"I feel a bit better about this now." Serena says.
"Do you want me to show you how to do it?" Ash asks standing up.
I look towards him confused. "You've been in a contest before?" I ask and he nods.
"My friends made me do a couple." He shrugs and I nod.
"Alright lets see what you got. Brionne and Glitter come on out!" I shout and the two appear in front of me.
"Pikachu your up. Now Talonflame I choose you!" Ash shouts and Talonflame appears.
"This should be interesting." I say.
"So no points? Just for fun?" Ash asks with a smirk and I nod.
"Just because we're having fun doesn't mean I'll go easier on you." I say.
"I didn't want you too." Ash says.
"I'll be referee. This is a double battle. The battle will be over when either side is unable to battle. Now battle begin!" Clemont shouts.
"Brionne use Aqua jet! Glitter use thunderbolt!"I shout.
"Pikachu get on top of talonflame! Talonflame use steel wing on Brionne and Pikachu use Iron tail!" Ash shouts.
Brionne shoots around fast with aqua jet and it absorbs the thunderbolt looking like a shooting star. It makes a beautiful combination move that would of worked well with the judges. Brionne manages to hit talonflame but Pikachu gets the higher advantage as it leaps over and slams down on Brionne with Iron tail making her fall. Ash's pokemon team work would of made me lose points if this was a real contest battle.
"Glitter use Volt tackle!" I shout.
"Talonflame use flamecharge! And Pikachu use electro ball!"
Pikachu uses electro ball and Talonflame goes behind it pushing the electroball as it flies at us with flamecharge but I got a good cover.
"Glitter swirl and switch to iron tail! Brionne make a balloon!" I shout.
Glitter twists her body so it dodges Talonflame with ease and hits Pikachu with Iron tail. Talonflame is shocked by Pikachu missing that it forgets about Brionne who hits back with a huge water balloon.
"Pikachu jump on top of Talonflame and get ready to use thunderbolt! Talonflame use steel wing on Brionne" Ash shouts. He must got something up his sleeve if he's using the same combination again.
"Two can play at that game. Glitter get on Brionne. Brionne use Aqua Jet!" I shout. Glitter jumps on Brionne and Brionne shoots towards Talonflame and Pikachu.
"Pikachu knock Glitter off with Iron tail!" Ash shouts.
I watch the scene worriedly as Pikachu jumps off of Talonflame and knocks Glitter off of Brionne. Talonflame manages to hit Brionne with steel wing but gets hit back hard with Aqua jet, so they're kind of even.
"Glitter hold onto your tail and use Iron tail!" I shout. Glitter continues to fall but grips her tail as it flies with Iron tail and she spins like a ball and lands with ease on the ground with her tail. Ash seems shocked by the recover and smirks.
"Talonflame use flamecharge on Glitter! Pikachu use quick attack on Brionne!" Ash shouts.
"Brionne make a balloon to save Glitter!" I shout.
Brionne makes a huge balloon that traps Glitter inside and lifts her into the air making Talonflame miss and hit the ground.
"Glitter use thunderbolt!" I shout.
Glitter uses thunderbolt which breaks the balloon creating blue sparkles everywhere and thunderbolt hits Talonflame making him unable to battle. Glitter lands next to Brionne and they both smirk towards a worn out Pikachu.
"Brionne Moonblast! Glitter volt tackle!" I shout.
"Pikachu Iron tail!" Ash shouts.
I use the method Ash used eariler with flamecharge and Electroball, but instead it's moonblast and volt tackle. Moonblast combine with Glitter's volt tackle as she pushes the moonblast in front of her and hits Pikachu before it can use Iron tail sending him back.
"Come on Pikachu get up! You can do it!" Ash shouts. Pikachu rests his hands on the ground and stands slowly with his cheeks sparking wildly. Ash smirks as he watches proudly as Pikachu stands.
"Pikachu quick attack then use thunderbolt!" Ash shouts.
"Brionne Hyper Voice! Glitter use thunderbolt!" I shout.
The Hyper Voice spreads out the thunderbolt to a wider spread going towards Pikachu.
"Bounce up using Iron Tail!" Ash shouts.
Pikachu runs faster with quick attack then uses it's tail bouncing off the hyper Voice gaining power in it's jump and comes down from above them and uses thunderbolt which hits Brionne hard and she falls to the ground weakly. It doesn't damage Glitter as much but she's still kinda of hurt.
"Glitter cover Brionne." I shout.
Brionne's body is sparking up as she tries to sit up and she finally falls to the ground unable to battle. I close my eyes taking a deep breath and open them sending a confident smirk towards Ash.
"Its not over yet." I say and he nods.
"Pikachu use Quick attack!" Ash shouts.
"Glitter use Iron tail!" I shout.
Pikachu runs fast and goes for Glitter and she runs at Pikachu with her tail glowing. They both meet in the middle and Pikachu jumps in the air making Glitter miss and she grabs onto his tail holding on.
"Shake it off Pikachu with Iron tail!" Ash shouts.
Pikachu plants himself on the ground and his tail starts to glow as he tries to shake glitter off but she holds on strong. Pikachu slams her onto the ground and she flips off and uses Iron tail on Pikachu. He uses Iron tail on her and they both fall far away from each other making dust come up from the ground. We wait for the dust to clear calling out to our pokemon seeing that they're both unable to battle.
"Both sides are unable to battle! I declare it as a tie!" Clemont shouts.
I go to my pokemon and hug them both and they smile at me as I both feed them Oran berries. I toss two to Ash to feed to both Pikachu and Talonflame and he thanks me.
"I'm impressed Ketchum." I nod towards him and he grins my way after feeding Talonflame his Oran berry.
"Same here." He says.
"You two were amazing!" Bonnie shouts making her way over to us with the others.
"Now I really want to see a contest one day, if it's anything like that then I can't wait." Serena says.
"Thanks." Ash and I say at the same time.
"Well let's get the pokemon checked out then grab our stuff and head to Fleurrh city." Clemont says and we all agree.
"Yeah we can have our battle another day." Serena says and I nod at her agreeing.
"Olivia can we talk for a second." Nate says taking me by the elbow stopping me from following the others and I just nod at him. The others head inside. Bonnie leads both Glitter and Brionne inside so that they can get checked and I thank her. I turn my whole body towards Nate who looks constipated. I snort rolling my eyes at him.
"Dude if you focus more harder, you might push out a kid." I laugh out and he glares softly my way and I stop laughing seeing how serious he looks.
"Are you okay?" I ask tilting my head trying to make eye contact.
"It's just..damn it Olivia! I seriously don't know what I'm doing." He groans rubbing his hands over his face.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"With Serena, these last few days have been amazing. It's only been a couple but we've been non stop talking and growing close. How do I know she's not just as dense as Ash and she's really just leading me on!?" He whispers shouts.
"I can't....I don't know what to tell you. Her feelings from what I can tell were really strong towards Ash. Yes that is a fact, but she seems really happy spending all this time with you." I say softly letting out a long sigh then continue.
"I'm sorry I just don't know. With her having feelings for him, to him having possible feelings for her....I just...can't take it." I say frustratedly looking down at the ground.
He leads me to a bench and we both sit down. He wraps an arm around my shoulder and I rest my head on him.
"You know what would just make this all easy?" I ask.
"Dating each other?" He laughs.
I throw my head back laughing. "No that's torture, I'm saying maybe we just shouldn't date until were like really old." I say and he nods.
"I had a dream caused by a Darkrai that the both of them made this huge plan to make me fall for him. So that I can get distracted and lose the league. I woke up and attacked Darkari and I never told them...well I told Bonnie." I say
"I know for a fact that Bonnie is smarter than us all." Nate says and I just nod laughing.
"It feels a bit better talking about it with you, instead of bottling it all in. I would have exploded if I didn't have you or Bonnie to talk to." I say and he smiles at me.
"I can't believe I'm talking about my feelings with a girl." Nate says and I nudge him playfully.
"A real ego damage huh?" I laugh and he laughs also.
"We better get up." I say and he allows me to stand first and then he stands as well.
"Wait do you see that?" He asks pointing towards something rustling in the bushes ahead of us.
"Its probably just some wild Pokemon." I shrug but he shakes his head and takes cautious steps forward.
"I swear I saw something red beaming at us." He says bending over moving a few leaves to the side but then gasps and something pulls him in the bushes.
"Nate!" I shout.
I wait for a reply but it's so quiet you can hear a pin drop. I take a Pokeball out holding it in my hand firmly as I take a step forward. I use my foot to move some leaves and stomp on a few. I feel something pull my ankle making me fall on my back dropping the Pokeball from my hand dragging me away. Before I can even think about screaming something bashes against my head and everything turns black...
*Other Person's POV*
I have watched from a far and you wouldn't believe how disappointed I've been. I have given him multiple chances to make his move. I've given him multiple chances to protect you, and still he continues to disappoint not only you but me. I can see you hurting inside, no one knows the pain you're feeling, only I can. I'ts the same pain because I long for you. Don't worry Olivia you won't be hurt anymore. It's time for me to step in and take what's mine. What has ALWAYS been mine.
