Nora's POV:
I wake up in a panic, breathing heavily as I take in my unfamiliar surroundings. I'm in a large room that has an ensuite which is almost the size of my whole upstairs, I'm sat on a bed that's bigger than a king size, it's a grand bed that has a footrest at the bottom of it. On the left side of the door is a couch and a huge flat screen TV and a half open door which leads to the ensuite to the right is a set of draws and a walk in wardrobe.
I try to get up but feel a ring around my right wrist and I look up to see I'm cuffed to the bed post. I sit up and thrust my arm forward trying to break free but it doesn't work, it only hurts. "You're awake." Blake says, walking into the room.
"Clearly." I mutter under my breath, studying his every move.
"You can relax." He says.
"I am relaxed." I state.
"Tell that to your heart, its beating really fast." Blake scoffs.
"How do you know?" I ask.
"Um... figure of speech." He replies, looking rather dodgy. He sits at the bottom of the bed and I shuffle backwards against the headboard and tuck my knees into my chest. "I'm not going to hurt you."
"Tell that to the handcuff." I snap.
"Sorry it was a precaution." Blake answers, pulling out the key from his back pocket and unlocking the cuffs. "Stand up." He orders which I follow.
He looks me up and down and whilst he's busy studying my figure I grab the lamp from the bedside table and aim to smack it over his head but without even looking at me he grabs my wrist at an unnaturally fast speed and twists it behind me causing me to drop the lamp. Blake pushes me against the wall and I feel my breathing increase as his hot breath makes the hairs on my neck stand on edge.
"You made your point, you can let go now." I breathe out as my wrist begins to feel pain from his grip.
"Don't try anything like that again." He orders, letting me go. I turn myself around and press my back against the wall, staring at him.
"What do you want with me? Why did you bring me here?" I question.
"Technically I didn't bring you here." Blake laughs.
"Very funny." I say, crossing my arms.
"I thought so." He smirks.
"What do you want with me?" I repeat.
"I can't tell you yet." Blake sighs.
"I want answers and I want them now." I snap, pointing my finger at him.
"And you're so cute when you want things." He smirks, pinching the tip of my finger which I pull back into myself. "It's good that your persistent but just drop it for now."
"Blake!" An unfamiliar guys exclaims running through the door.
"I asked not to be interrupted." Blake bellows.
"I know but it's important." He says.
"What is it?" Blake sighs.
"We are under attack, the Holland w... warriors are coming." He replies.
"Caleb go warn everyone else and put up your best defences, I'll join you when I can." Blake orders.
"Another thing sir, they're after her." Caleb says, flinching his head over at me.
"Hold them off for as long as you can! I want every man out there!" Blake yells before Caleb leaves.
