Well....sorta...
Harry insisted that you two go have a nice day at the pool.
Which you don't blame him...it's a beautiful day outside....but there's one little problem....
You can't swim.
"Ready baby?" Harry ask you.
"Um...yea" you nodded.
THE POOL
"Woo!!!" Harry yelled as he jumped into the pool getting water all over you.
"Harry!!" You scolded playfully.
"Sorry babe. Well what are you waiting for? Get in here woman!!" Harry smiled.
You stood up and started shaking a bit.
All you could do was pray an anxiety attack wasn't coming.
Harry opened up his arms for you and you sat down at the end of the pool and slowly slipped down into the pool and into his arms.
"Hi" he grinned as he wrapped your legs around his waist, his hands holding your bum.
You kept your eyes on the water...you started feeling tears fill your eyes as you remembered the tragic time you almost died when you were 14 and went swimming.
"Baby....are you okay?" Harry asked you, worrisome in his voice.
You nodded slightly.
He didn't believe you, so he simply placed his fingers under your chin and lifted your head up so your eyes could meet his green ones.
"Dont lie to me baby....I know when something's bothering you......what's wrong darling? You're shaking" he pointed out.
"Um...I'm fine....just a little afraid that's all" you admitted looking down.
He brought your chin up again and kissed your lips softly.
"You have nothing to be afraid of kitten. As long as I'm around....I won't let anything....and I mean anything....hurt my baby girl....especially water...." he promised staring into your eyes.
Tears fell down your face.
"Aww, sweetheart I didn't mean to make you cry..I was j-"
"No harry....I know. You're perfect....I'm just.....I just feel so loved...that's all" you smiled.
"You are loved baby" he smiled back.
He kissed your lips again and started moving into the water slowly.
"You okay?" Harry asked you for the one hundredth time now.
"Yes...I'm fine....Um...can you.....can you help me swim a bit? I'm tired of being a baby" you asked.
"But your my baby a-"
"Yes I agree I am your baby...but I want to learn how to swi-"
"Thats probably not a good idea love. We don't want you to have an anxiety attac-"
"But I won't...."
"How do you know? Princess you get scared so easily....I just don't want you to get so frightened to the point where you shut down and cry. I don't want to see you cry love...you know that breaks my heart" Harry spoke.
You smiled and took his face in your hands so you could give him a passionate kiss.
"Please Harry....Please" you begged.
"Hey now....begging for me already hmm?" He asked cheekily.
You giggled.
"Harold I'm serious..." You groaned.
"Okay okay baby. I'll teach you...let's get started."
After about 30 minutes of teaching you, you finally decided you wanted to try it yourself.
"Am....Am I doing this right?" You asked harry.
"Well...not exactly" He admitted.
"Why? What happened?" You asked confused.
"You haven't even let go yet babe" Harry grinned.
"Oh...right....sorry..." You blushed earning a chuckle from harry.
"Okay....I'll hold you baby....just try your best to do it on your own...I'll be right here....I got you"
You nodded slowly and ducked your head underwater.
You moved your legs and arms just how Harry taught you.
You couldn't believe it.
You were actually doing it.
You were so proud of yourself that you made the wrong mistake and smiled widely underwater, letting the water flow into your mouth and cause you to choke a bit and you immediately clutched onto Harry.
He quickly pulled you back up and started patting your back.
"You okay doll?" He asked you.
You nodded as you continued to cough.
"I'm going to go get us some drinks so let's get out of the water real quick" Harry said grabbing your hand.
"Wait no....why can't I just stay in here while you get the drinks?" You asked.
"Baby...you just learned how to swim....and I doubt any of these people are really paying a lot of attention so if I was to leave and you drowned....I would blame all of these people" Harry replied.
Oh god...here he goes...
Getting all protective.
"But I got this....and there are people paying attention. The lifeguard is paying attention" you said.
"Yea well I don't trust him. He's paying a bit too much attention to you and it's starting to piss me off so come on, let's take a break" Harry said, grabbing your hand again.
"Harry please please please-"
"Baby i-"
"Please please please-"
"I just don't want anything to happen while I'm gone-"
"Please please plea-"
"Bab-"
"Please please please please p-"
"Alright alright!!" Harry finally gave in.
You smiled widely, glad you won the round.
"I will be right back baby. I'm just gonna head to that bar right there. Yell for me if you need anything...Okay baby?" Harry said.
You nodded happily and Harry laughed.
He got out the water and walked over to the bar.
Harry stood in line and kept his eyes on you.
You didn't want to attract too much attention so you simply stared back at him and splashed a bit of water around.
He moves up a bit in line...but his eyes were still on you.
Dammit.
Harold look away, you begged silently.
He finally got to the bartender and that's when you took your chance to hurry and duck underwater.
Okay Y/ N...just like Harry taught you, you paced yourself.
And with that....
You were underwater.
HARRY'S P.O.V.
"Thank mate" I told the bartender as I grabbed Y/N's and I drinks.
I started walking away and I looked straight ahead to where my girl was.
But there was one problem....
She wasn't there.
I squinted my eyes a bit to see her long hair flowing around underneath the water.
Oh shit.
She wasn't moving.
"Fuck" I cursed.
I dropped the drinks and quickly ran to the pool.
I jumped in without hesitation and grabbed her quickly.
People were now staring at me but I couldn't give two fucks about any of them.
I pulled Y/ N out of the water and laid her down onto the ground.
People started gathering around, including the lifeguard.
So now he wants to come?
Little fucker.
"WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU? SHE COULD HAVE DIED!!!" I yelled at the lifeguard.
I placed my head onto Y/N's chest and listened for her heartbeat.
There wasn't one.
Dammit.
"No...Please baby....Please breathe for me beautiful....come on....come on" I begged.
The lifeguard quickly did a procedure on Y/ N and placed some water onto her face.
She gasped as she opened her eyes and started coughing up all the water.
"Oh Jesus Christ Y/ N, I almost had an heart attack" I said, tearing up slightly.
I didn't want her to see me cry so I quickly covered myself up, pretending something hit my eye.
What type of pussy boyfriend would I be if I stared crying?
But hell...what can I say?
I almost lost one of the most precious things in the world to me.
"That's it...I'm never ever leaving your sight again Y/N" I promised her.
"Deal" she smiled.
I took her face in my hands and kissed her soft plump lips.
