Okay, I don't update enough, so I've decided to map it out.
Wednesdays and Mondays for updating.

Story time...
Chapter :
Erza looked up.
An energy surge seemed to have entered the school all of a sudden.
Mirajane sat down next to her.
"Did you feel that, Mira?" The redhead inquired.
Mirajane nodded, "Feels very powerful."
Jellal took a seat a row behind them and even Laxus walked over to sit.
"Looks like our teacher's finally here," The blond haired man said, resting his muscular arm on a desk.
Erza and Mirajane swirled around to face him, "Who?"
The door banged open and the source of the emanating power stood leaning against the doorframe, "You're the kids I gotta set straight?"
A red haired man stood at the door, wearing a worn cape over a fitted shirt.
He stared at each kid carefully as though analysing their potential, "Good."
He let a small smile work into his face, "Very good."
Jellal and Laxus stood up and a surprised duo of girls did too.
His power was definitely real.
Erza could feel it. But his tardy appearance and unshaven face made it hard to believe he was actually a wizard.
A deadly one at that.
"This is Cana's father," Jellal explained softly to the two.
"Who?!"
Gildarts chuckled at their expressions.
"You boys've grown." He said slowly, eyeing Laxus and Jellal, "Better not be trying anything funny with my daughter."
Erza tilted her head to the side to see Laxus roll his eyes and Jellal slightly smile.
"Sit down, kids," Gildarts said,leaning back against his desk, "So, what's up with this whole tournament thing? And how's Natsu?"
"Still as stupid as ever," Laxus grunted making Mira giggle.
Erza couldn't believe he'd come all the way over without even getting any details about the Council's tests.
"Was kinda outta town," Gildarts told the redheaded mage as though reading her mind.
Erza raised an eyebrow, "That's alright, I suppose."
"Yeah," Gildarts nodded over at Jellal, "Please let your boyfriend explain things for a moment."
Erza's face colored as much as Jellal's did.
"We're not dating!!"
"No?" Gildarts looked surprised, "Funny, you look very couplish."
Couplish?
Erza wanted to fan herself.
Mirajane giggled uncontrollably at her face and Erza almost groaned.
Laxus only watched the proceedings.
Gildarts eyed the both of them, "Hm, Red and Blue. Wonder if your kids'll have purple..."
"Gildarts!!"
Erza's face was the color of her hair and her hands twitched to throw a sword at his face.
Gildarts burst out laughing.
Erza lunged and Laxus and Mirajane grabbed her down.
It only took a few seconds for the redheaded knight to get her bearings and calm down.
The students looked back at the teacher who stood with a new gleam in his eye.
"Well," He traced a finger down his desk, "That's a nice fighter spirit... This may be interesting after all..."
Erza sat up straight when a flow of magic energy filled the room.
"Kids," Gildarts grinned, "Let's get started."
Lucy sighed.
It was Gray vs. Natsu and the two boys couldn't be happier.
They kept yelling the dumbest insults at each other as they went back and forth shooting fire shots and ice attacks.
"Why?" Levy groaned from beside her, "Why, us?"
"This won't end anytime soon," Cana said, placing her empty soda can down.
"Time out!" Gajeel yelled, "I wanna go!!'
"Of course, he does." Lucy sighed again.
Loke walked over to the three boys and, after a struggle, managed to separate them.
"We'll continue this later, boys. It's a promise."
"Fine." They muttered, slowly walking back to their places.
Aries giggled softly and Lucy and Levy smiled.
"Now,"
A shrill scream echoed through the halls.
Thrills went up Lucy's spine and she looked around the room at her wide eyed classmates.
Fear settled into her chest for an unknown reason as the next few minutes, only silence reigned.
"Someone's in trouble!" Natsu ran for the door.
"Salamander, wait!" Gajeel ran after him.
Gray rolled his eyes before running after them with Loke and a few others.
"Lu!" Levy's eyes were still filled with fear as the girls scrambled to their feet and ran through the corridors.
The students finally reached the vast space in front of the school's entrance.
The S class kids reached about the same time.
Kinana and Erik followed Makarov to the spot as well.
In front of them, a young, dark-haired man stood crouched over the lifeless body of a young, beautiful girl.
Tears strained down his face.
"Mavis," His voice broke, "What have I done, Mavis?"
