Anyway,
Le Chapter:
"Wait up, Natsu!" Lucy yelled.
"Hurry up, Luce!" Natsu yelled back, tugging on his scarf with one hand, "We got to get to school before Erza. Right, Happy?"
"Aye sir!" Said the blue winged cat as Happy flew beside Natsu.
Lucy growled from a little behind them and Natsu stopped to wait for her.
She caught up to the boy and cat and bent over, panting.
"Wow, You're out of breath already, Luce?" Natsu asked.
"We've only taken a few steps out of your house." Happy looked confused.
"You must be really out of shape."
"You used the window to get out while I used the door like a normal person," Lucy said through gritted teeth.
"Aw, the window's a lot faster!" Natsu grinned.
"And a lot less tiring." Happy said wisely.
Lucy gave up.
"Hey, Lu!"
The blond turned around at her friend's voice and her face brightened with a smile, "Oh hey, Levy!"
Natsu and Happy waved, "Levy!!"
"Hey, guys!" The slender bookworm walked up to them with her usual smile, "You're early."
"Yeah," Natsu grinned, "We're tryna get to school before Erza."
"Oh, Why?" Levy asked as the group of friends began walking.
"It's the most ridicu-"
"Secret!" Happy and Natsu yelled cutting Lucy off.
"Oh, come on!" Levy jumped up, "You can tell me!!"
"Okay!"
Lucy facepalmed at how easily Natsu and Happy gave in.
"Guess what?"
"Um, new books in the library?"
"Nah! Think of somethin' I'd wanna do."
"New fountain to smash?"
"Aw, man. No, that's not it."
"Oh, wait, wait, wait... New gym equipment!"
"No!! But you're close..."
"HOW is she close?" Lucy wanted to know.
"It is new..." Natsu and Happy looked at her with huge, innocent eyes.
Lucy groaned.
"New, huh?" Levy pouted a little as she thought, "New magic enhan-"
"It's a new teacher!" Lucy burst out saying.
"Luce!" Natsu and Happy pouted, "You could've let her guess."
Lucy sighed.
Those guesses had just kept getting further.
"New teacher, really?" Levy asked.
"Yeah," Natsu said, turning to her, "It's for Combat class."
Levy gasped, "But Erza takes care of that!"
"Exactly!" Natsu said, "So, we'll go beat the teacher up so that we'll be the teachers!"
Levy gave him a slight smile, "I don't think that'll work, Natsu."
"We'll make sure it does! Right, Happy?"
"Aye, sir!"
Levy giggled before looking back at Lucy who smiled.
"Why do you guys have to get there before Erza, though?" Lucy asked.
"You're so dumb, Lucy..." Happy spared her a look of sadness.
"Happy... Don't make me forget that you were once a teacher..."
"It's like this!" Natsu decided to explain as he turned around and continued walking, backward.
"Erza has this S Class thing, so she'll be in Gildarts' class."
Levy and Lucy nodded.
Mira and Erza had already explained to them that they'd be in a special class called S Class, where they'd take classes from the most powerful teacher.
Mr. Gildarts would be in charge.
The Headmaster had cancelled all other classes and announced that all students and teachers would have to train for the Council's tests.
"So, this new teacher will be taking Erza's place as the Combat Class teacher?" Levy asked.
"Yeah," Natsu was getting impatient, "So, if we can defeat the teacher, Gramps will have no other choice but to place Happy and me as the new teachers!"
Lucy and Levy glanced at each other once.
"Natsu," Lucy turned to him as the friends turned into their school's vast campus, "I don't think Head Master Makarov will appreciate it."
"He'll live," Natsu waved their concerns away, "Let's go, Happy!"
"Aye, Sir!"
The friends entered the building to see Erza and Mirajane talking to Laxus.
"Erza!" Natsu couldn't believe it, "You're here!"
The redhead turned to him, "Of course, I am. Since this is our first class, we decided to get here early."
Lucy sighed.
The difference in their thinking was so apparent, Natsu would never be able to beat anyone who'd be taking Erza's place.
"So, Lu," Levy whispered.
"What is it, Levy?" Lucy asked as the friends made their way to stand beside Mirajane.
"You look grouchy," Her friend gave her a sly smile, "Upset that I interrupted your morning stroll with Natsu?"
"Levy, of course not!" Lucy said trying to sound sincere, "I'm not upset at all."
"If you say so!"
Lucy groaned as Mira began to giggle.
Laxus stood beside her, watching Natsu and Erza argue.
"You won't beat the new teacher before I do!" Natsu yelled at the redhead.
"Oh, him." Erza said with the smile.
The way she said it made Lucy and Levy choke on air.
Natsu sank to the ground, "You killed him already?"
"Of course not," The re-equip mage said in her calm voice, "I merely met him. He is good. He'll make an excellent teacher."
Natsu huffed, "But I wanna teach."
Erza shook her head, "I forbid it."
Natsu was near tears, "I'm not that bad..."
"I didn't mean teaching," Erza said and Lucy and the others sighed.
"I meant beating him up," The redhead continued, "We need help to defeat the other schools, Natsu. What do you want? Don't you want to beat those other losers and take the rightful place of not paying money!!"
"Yeah!!"
Lucy noticed Mirajane sigh at the righteous anger her fellow students were portraying.
Laxus glanced up once, "Almost time."
Erza strode back to them, "We should be getting to class."
Mirajane nodded before turning to Lucy and Levy, "We'll see you at lunch!"
"Okay," Lucy and her pretty friend replied.
The S Class students turned away to go to their room.
"I'll see ya later, Luce!" Natsu said as he began to walk away with Happy, "And Happy and I are comin' home with you again, okay?"
"Okay, Natsu," Lucy smiled and waved.
"Again?" Levy gave Lucy a sly grin, "And what exactly did you guys do?"
"Oh, we slept over," Happy said before flying away after Natsu.
Mira and Erza froze.
Levy covered her mouth.
"Well, well, well..." Erza remarked.
Mirajane turned around slowly, "How long has this been happening, Lucy?"
Laxus turned to her and raised an eyebrow.
"How forward of you, Lu!" Levy said with large, widened eyes.
Lucy groaned.
