Paridhi's POV:
"Arey bapre!..... arey arey......Ha ha me bhi aati hu." Maa was talking to someone on call. "Arey hamre yaha chod dena. Vedika, Rishabh aur Paridhi toh gharpe hi rahenge woh khayal rakh lenge."
"Paridhi, beta sunno, Rishabh ki masi ki tabiyat kharab hogai hai, Nisha ki maa, toh muzhe aur inhe hospital Jana hoga. Lekin tum toh janti hu Nisha ke bacche hai woh unhe chod ke nahi aa payegi. Toh 2 din ke liye tum sab jara baccho ka dhyan rakhna."
"Haa maa jarur. Ask Nisha di not to worry about kids. Lekin masi ko kya hua achanak?"
"Kya batau beta meri badi behen hai magar harkate choti behen se bhi buri hai. Usse pit ka problem hai lekin phir bhi gaav me jake reh Rahi hai kitni baar bola mene aur Nisha ne hamare sath reh le magar nahi. Kaal kuch kaam kar rahi thi shayad fisal ke gur gayi abhi hospital jayenge tab pata chalega."
"Surekha masi?" Rishabh exclamined from behind.

We dropped maa and papa at Nisha Di's place and took the kids with us. Aarya is the eldest who's 5 year's old and Neel is 3 year's old. Both the kids are so cute. Throughout the drive Aarya kept us telling about her kindergarten, which made me and Rishabh glance and share a reaction. Neel is more of a quiet kid who slept half the drive but got cranky when we woke him.
It might take few days Nisha Di to come back so we packed their normal clothes as well as the school uniforms and other necessary things. I gave Rishabh a smug look, he teases me for having so many things to pack when we got out. But with only two little kids we have 3 huge bags. With 2 littler backpacks on their back with their bottle and a soft toy in Aarya's and a digital slate in Neel's
As soon as they arrived, Aarya and Neel burst into our home like little tornadoes of mischief. Aarya, with her pigtails bouncing declared looking at oven box that we kept to throw away. "This is Princess Aarya's Castle, so please do not disturb me." Looking at her I remember my childhood, I loved playing house and would ask my father to build me a house with leftover cardboard.
Neel whom I assumed to be the quit one, started shouting on top of his lungs watching his favourite cartoon, that Rishabh had to search for about an half hour.
Rishabh and I exchanged a knowing glance, mentally preparing ourselves for the chaos that lay ahead.

"Aaru-Neel what do you both like to eat?" I have to stock some snacks now that we have kids home.
"Pizza" Aarya exclamined "and Burger."
Neel looked at his sister and then shyly replied "cake."
I grinned at their replies "oookay we will see about that... because your mamma told me not to give y'all anything from outside so I guess for today we will have to manage something that I can make at home. Okay?"
Both the kids pouted and now I know how my pouts melt my man child. "Okay" they said low in a unison.
"Rishabh! We need to get some snacks for the kids, maybe some chips and Kellogg's. Ah! And get some chocolate powder too. Also Aarya likes pizza and Neel likes Cake, so I was thinking Nisha di told not to give them anything from out kids stomach gets upset easily so maybe I can make at home. Get us pizza bread and ready made cupcake mix I'll make the frosting at home." I blabbered trying to make a note of all the things we might need. When I looked at Rishabh he watched me with amusement, grinning ear to ear.
"What?" I asked in confusion.
"Cute."
"Huh?"
"Nothing.. umm what all I need to bring? I can't even recall the list of items you said. Text me the list so I don't miss anything."
"Yeah I'll do that."
"And what does my sweet wife want?"
"Umm, maybee.. some... icecream?"
"Um-hm, how did I forget we don't have 2 but 4 kids at home now, considering my baby sister and my sweet little wifey." He chuckled.

By dinner time, exhaustion had started to settle in, not for the kids, mind you, but for Rishabh and me. Aarya and Neel were still buzzing with energy, jumping around the dinner table like tiny kangaroos.
"Can we have ice cream for dinner, please?" Aarya pleaded, her big doe eyes pleading with all the innocence in the world.
Rishabh shot a glance at Me, nodding a no but I was already reaching for the ice cream tub. "Ice cream it is," i declared, earning a chorus of cheers from the kids.
