Paridhi's POV
My body was all aching as I woke up, But Last night so beautiful it felt all worth it. I went to the kitchen after freshing up, only to see the kitchen into a complete mess, with my dear husband cooking .....something.
"Before you comment anything, let me tell you my cooking skills aren't bad as my cleaning skills. And you don't have to worry about my cleaning skills either because maa literally scolds me even today when I don't put my socks into washing machine immediately. So.." he started speaking with his hands in air.
I just started laughing at him dramatic monologue. He calls Vedika dramatic but he's her brother after all.
"What?" He asked annoyed
"Well, if you don't want me to judge your cooking skills, slow up the gas cause whatever you're making is about to get burnt" I said still giggling at his sight
"Shit..shit" saying he turned back.
"Umm smells good.. you don't have to impress me husband I'm already in love with you" I said casually moving forward. But Rishabh's face went into a 'o' and I bit my lip when I realised I just confessed my love to him. I know I know we are married but I hadn't said it to him yet!
"Huh? What did you just say?" Rishabh said with excitement catching on my words.
"Nothing what-I meant is-i'm hungry-I'll-go wait-out-you better-clean this-up-later" I baberred huridly and left the kitchen running like a cat.
"Just so you know I'm going to make you say that again" I could hear Rishabh scream when I was leaving.

"So why didn't you confess her?" While having our special breakfast made by chef Rishabh we were discussing our life's during college. I had asked him during our meets if he was in relationship with anyone before, and he denied but we never went in depth discussing it.
"I don't know yaar, I didn't have enough courage I guess. And then she got a boyfriend so bass chapter close hogaya" he said shrugging his shoulders "Mera chodo tumhara batao"
"Umm... I don't know if it was a crush exactly but my friends used to tease me with my seniors name. I just happened to work for a College fest with him and apparently my friends saw our chemistry so muzhe bhi laga maybe I like him or something. But days passed and none of confessed phir uska College khatam aur hamari kahani"
"So you never had a crush?" He asked
"Noi guess not with him, I think my first crush would be my family friend. We were in the same school and we used to meet at family functions also, he would always bring me chocolates and stationery materials that his uncle would get him. During, 6th standard our class teacher also made us seat together, I remember he would always sheild me whenever anyone said anything against me. He was cute you know, but then he had to leave school because his father got a transfer phir toh baat hi band hogai"
Rishabh replied with a "Hmmm..." like he was... uninterested? Or jealous maybe, so I asked him instead "What about you, Sheetal ke baad Koi aur ladki nahi mili?"
"Mili na" hearing him I was suddenly more curious, there were more women?
"I met this really cute girl at a wedding. Pehele me usko takraya like they show it in your dramas, phir usne mere Sara attention le liya, Puri shadi me bass usko hi dekhta raha"
"Oh" I said irritatingly. You digged your own grave by asking questions, my brain mocked me.
"Hmm, she is so beautiful you know. The first time I saw her in Pink lehenga, open hair, she wore nothing but heavy jhumkaas, bangles and a nose ring me toh latoo hogaya uspe. Apne cousins pe full rob jhad rahi thi, uske baad kya dance kiya tha stage pe, uff" he mentioned her attire like he met her just yesterday.
"Toh usse hi shadi kar lete" frustrated by his over sharing of crush stories I got up from my chair and he grabbed my hand from back making me seat on his lap. I wiggled on my seat trying to escape him, but caged me with his arms tightly.
"Ussi se toh ki hai" he said I looked at him in confusion.
"My sweet naive wifey, apne Kashish aur Viraj ke shadi me kya pehna tha?" He asked raising his left eyebrow, and I realised he was talking about me. I mentally face slammed myself.
"Aww you look cute when you pout" saying he pulled my cheeks. "What happened?" He asked when I frowned.
"I wonder.. agar hum bhi college me mile hote toh?"
"Toh? Toh... kuch nahi hota! Hum dono me itni himmat hi nahi hoti ek dusre ko jake bolne ki and humari bhi kahani khatam ho jati phir app apke future husband ko aaise humari kahani sunate" Rishabh said laughing
"Shayad hum keh dete.. shayad app mere liye notes banate, aur shayad hum college canteen me ya campus me chupke se milte, shayad meri dost hame chidhati" I started pointing out
"Aur shayad mere dost tumhe bhabhi kehte!" Rishabh said enthusiastically
"Exactly.. aur shayad.. shayad hum"
"... aur shayad me tumhe aaise kiss karta" saying he locked our lips and the shayad's (ifs and buts) were left behind enjoying the present in my man's arms.

I was folding the clothes when my man-child barged the door in excitement.
"Pari~" he exclaimed extending his hand, I told him to sort the vegetables and keep them in the fridge and he made a.....a vege-bouquet out of it. Haha. It was cute.
"What is this?" I asked laughingly
"Go out on a date with me, sweetheart" he said kneeling down halfly giving me his creative bouquet.
"Huh?" I asked
"Huh nahi, Haan bolo!" He said holding my hands
"Date?" I asked again
"Umm hmm. But not as my wife. I want to see the college wali Pari, let's go out as ....as boyfriend-girlfriend. Let's meet each other again, like if we would have met years ago"
I started laughing and he held me by my waist
"Mazak nahi kar raha me, Go out with me, please. I swear you won't regret me as a boyfriend"
I put my hands over his neck "okay! But I want to do all sorts of things with you"
"Ah ha, all of it?" He asked teasingly
"I meant, sneaking out, long walks, watching movies in theatre, lying at home and spending time together, maybe a few surprise meet ups" I added the last part softly.
"Done!" He said with a peck on my lips and grabbed my vege bouquet
"What?" I questioned pulling my bouquet
"What what? Sabji hai khani padegi, were you thinking of putting it in the vase?" He said and we both laughed. Maybe I really thought of preserving it, silly me!

"Ready?" Rishabh asked
"Ready!" I replied
"Okay, so first one" i said flipping my paper to his side and he did the same.
"Riding on motorbike at night" he read my chit "oho, nice"
We decided we will make list of things that we would do if we were girlfriend -boyfriend, well the tags don't matter. What matters is we get to spend more and more time with eachother and live the moments of life maybe we missed in past.
"Camping and watching sunrise with you" I read out his chit "umm hmm, done! Ab next?"
"Sure"
"Okay, so.. here it goes" saying i flipped my second chit and so did he.
...and just like that we made list of 7 things -
1. A food date but not in a fancy restaurant
2. Riding on a motorbike
3. Visit a Trampoline Park
4. Going to a beach
5. Camping and watching sunrise
6. Cooking together
7. Doing Pottery
This is going to be fun, me and Rishabh, as girlfriend boyfriend, walking the street holding hands creating the moments I always manifested for!
