A/N: Can't believe it's been at least two days since I updated.
But I'm here!!
So anyway,
Chapter 14:
"Juvia."
Juvia looked up to see her friends at the door of Ms. Porlyusica's office.
"Erza! Luvy, Mira! Juvia is so glad you came!!" She gave them a wide smile, "You will not believe what has happened!"
Juvia watched as Erza walked slowly into the room, a sorrowful expression on her face.
"We know." The beautiful redhead said, "Gray told us."
Juvia blushed, "G-Gray? He told you?"
"Yes." Erza sat at the edge of Juvia's bed, "We're all very sorry, Juvia."
"You are?" Juvia looked confused.
"Yes. You went through pain and your friends were not there. Forgive us. It will not happen. I swear it."
"B-But..."
"It won't!"
Mirajane sighed, "Erza, I think Juvia's talking about something else." she said, coming closer to Juvia's bed.
"Juvia collapsed in the pool room," Erza said, "Isn't that what we're talking about?"
"That wasn't what Juvia was talking about." Juvia said.
Levy and Lucy broke out laughing as Juvia blushed.
Kinana smiled, "What were you talking about, Juvia?"
Erza just looked surprised.
"Um, Gray came to the pool room as I was leaving." Juvia said softly earning a huff of exasperation from Levy.
"Oh," Erza said.
"What happened?" Mirajane leaned in making Juvia blush.
"He wanted to know where Ms. Aquarius was." Juvia replied," He asked me and, uh, I-"
"You passed out." Erza guessed.
Juvia nodded, blushing further.
"I will have a word with him about this, that idiot." Erza rose.
"Now, now, Erza," Mirajane cautioned, "It wasn't the boy's fault."
"Technically, it was." Levy said, making Lucy, Kinana and Juvia giggle hard.
Mirajane smiled and Erza did too.

Levy hurried through the halls.
"Hey, shorty."
She spun around , hearing the unmistakable voice of Gajeel Redfox.
"Hi!" She said still making her way backwards.
The hallway was full of kids making their way to their classes, pushing each other this way and that. Gajeel seemed to hold his ground though.
"Ya got the time?" He asked, unaffected by the throng of kids swarming through.
"Yes," Levy glanced at her watch, "five minutes to two."
Gajeel grunted, "Very funny."
He walked over, covering the space between them in a few strides.
"I meant d'you got the time for a walk?"
"A walk?" Levy repeated, not understanding.
She was late to her next class. She had Advanced English which meant that he did too. Did he mean walking her to class?
"Yeah," Gajeel said, his red piercing eyes staring into her soft, huge ones," My friend, Juvia, is sick. Was wonderin' if you'd come wit me."
"Oh Gajeel, I can't!" Levy ignored how her very being seemed bent on accepting his invitation. She was in enough trouble already.
"I've got Advanced English. Juvia's fine. We checked on her only a few minutes ago. So-"
Gajeel bent down and, placing his arm around her midsection, lifted her entire body effortlessly off the ground.
"Wha- Gajeel!!" Levy's face was a bright red.
She hung over his shoulder like a ragdoll.
Gajeel just turned around, glaring at the few kids who dared to stare. "Quit yer talking, Shrimp. We got places to go."
"But! Gajeel!! Put me down! Please!! This is so embarassing... GAJEEL!!!"
Gajeel just smirked, carrying Levy over one shoulder. "Quiet down, We're almost there. Ya don' wanna get late, do ya?"

Principal Makarov looked over at the group of boys he'd gathered into his office.
Natsu and Gray nudging each other. Eric with a bored expression, occasionally saying some thing to get Natsu riled up.
Jellal and Laxus stood a little to the side, looking like they didn't want to be associated with the other three.
Gajeel was not present.
He could not be found.
Makarov sighed. When could that boy ever be found?
The head master cleared his throat.
Laxus, Jellal and Eric looked up.
Natsu and Gray were still quarelling.
The head master cleared his throat again. A little louder this time.
Gray and Natsu still didn't pay him any attention.
Makarov lost his cool.
"YOU IDIOTS!"
Gray and Natsu flinched to attention.
Laxus smiled and turned away getting Makarov even more riled up.
"YOU STUPID BRATS! PAY ATTENTION WHEN I'M TALKING!!"
He took a calming breath and looked around the attentive faces.
"I've called you here for a reason. You all saw the defence class orientation today."
"I didn't, master." Jellal said.
"Natsu felt it." Gray snickered.
"You did too, Gray!" Natsu retorted.
"Boys..."
The two guys snapped back to pay the head master their utmost attention.
"So I'd like to suggest that you join."
The boys stared at the principal.
"Kiddin; me." was all Eric said.
"No, no I'm not." Makarov replied. "I'll let you skip one subject and take this class."
"Skip a class?" Gray and Natsu perked up.
"Any class?"
"Yes, " Makarov replied, "Any class."
"Count me in!" Natsu said, "I'm all fired up!"
"If flame brain's in, so am I." Gray said.
"I'll take that Erza down if it's the last thing I do!" Natsu said, pumping his fist in the air.
"Not before I do." Gray retorted.
"I'll pass." Jellal gave the head master a small smile.
"Me too." Laxus didn't look at Makarov but elsewhere.
Makarov looked at the Cobra.
Eric glanced at Laxus and then back at the head master.
He grinned, "Sorry, master. But I got other things to do."
Makarov sighed.
"Like visit that girl," Gray said while Nastu snickered.
"You guys wanna say that to my face?"
"Boys..."
"Why not? Hey, Eric." Gray said.
"Don't, Gray." Cobra warned.
"Boys..."
"You just want to see Kina-"
"Don't make me ang-"
"BOYS!!"
The three boys flinched.
"OUT OF MY OFFICE. NOW." Makarov roared, getting them running out.
Jellal and Laxus just followed the other three out.

Mirajane set a few papers down on the table in the waiting room.
She had a free period and had decided to stop by the master's office and check the desk for urgent work.
She walked over to the door to his cabin and heard a roar.
The door burst open and three boys hurried out, stumbling over themselves.
Natsu, Gray and Eric whizzed past her with scared expressions on their faces.
Then, out walked Laxus, the master's son.
Mirajane smiled up at him.

Laxus walked out of the old man's office, an annoyed look on his face.
Those losers always got his grandfather angry. Always.
He hadn't taken two steps before he came face to face with the stunning Mirajane Strauss.
She looked up at him and smiled. "Hello, Laxus."
He swallowed, "Hi."
Jellal passed by, an almost amused smile on his face.
Mirajane looked unsure of what to say next.
Laxus frowned. She looked like the sweet kind who always knew what to say to a person. Was he an exception?
She looked back up again, her big, blue eyes catching his attention and keeping it.
"I was just on my way to see the master." She gave him another lovely smile.
He nodded.
"Well, I'll see you later the-"
"Mira! Come inside, We have some work!" Makarov called from inside.
"Coming, master!"
Laxus clenched his jaw.
The old man hated him.
He knew it.
Mirajane turned to him with that disarming smile, "I have to go now." She said in her sweet, angelic voice. "I'll see you later then?"
Laxus nodded. "Alright."
He watched her glide past him and into his grandfather's cabin.
He turned back to the waiting room.
Now to face Jellal.
Laxus walked out of the waiting room and out into the wide corridor.
Jellal waited for him, "Laxus."
"We need to talk, Jellal."
The blue haired boy gave him a devilish smile.
"You stole my line."
