"Firstly, you take my food. Secondly, you're all shirtless and thirdly, you will be in shit if my dad walks in." I stared at the three tall guys who were cooking in our kitchen.
"He's chilled. I've talked to him a couple of times," Russell shrugged whilst cutting up some avocado and putting it onto the slices of bread he had freshly baked.
They were ever eating and it was beyond my control. They were honestly a bad combination, Kylen, Everett and Russell ate too much and had no limits whatsoever.
"He is. He even plays basketball with us," Everett leaned on the counter before poking me.
"Dude, stop it," I hit his arm whilst lying on the counter with my legs in the air.
The four of us had spent the night at Kylen's place and this time they decided to stay at my place and thankfully, my Mom and Dad weren't home. I had no idea where Alison was and I didn't care.
"Why? You're super adorable," I glared at him.
"Don't call me that," he chuckled before ruffling my hair.
"What do you want to be called then? Ugly?" Kylen went hysterical as Everett gave him a high-five.
"I will push you off the bed tonight, I swear—"
"Alora! What smells so good? You can't cook!" I heard my little sister's voice say faintly and the boys snickered.
"Oh burn! Exposed. That's sad Chubs," Russell laughed loudly as I rolled my eyes. Kylen had taken out the large bacon and mozzarella pizza from the oven and Everett was now deep-fat frying the crumbed chicken.
"Fuck you Alison!" I yelled back then I heard her footsteps echo in the kitchen.
She entered and glanced at the shirtless guys, especially Russell. I couldn't blame her, he was good-looking after all especially with his newly trimmed hair.
"Oh, it's these guys. Thank goodness, you saved my life. I was dying of starvation." She made herself comfortable on the stool, casually dressed in some pyjama pants and a plain t-shirt. She had the decency to brush her hair and fix her face so I wasn't that bothered.
"Who said you're getting any food?" I tilted my head at her.
"Don't be like that Chubs," Russell smirked before passing her a plate of a juicy, seared chicken breast served on a green, delicious salad.
"Yeah Alora, don't be like that. Thank you Russell." She grinned widely as he sent her a wink.
"We might as well make dinner for your family. Mr. Vincento won't kick us out that way," Everett put the chicken on some paper towels to remove the excess oil.
"Smart idea bro," Kylen poured some orange juice for Alison as per her request. She had finished her chicken within minutes and was scrolling through her phone.
"My friends are coming soon. I'm going out, Mom knows." Alison told me as she got off the stool after gulping her juice down.
"Don't give a damn," I shrugged whilst eating a slice of cucumber.
"Where are you guys going?" Russell questioned curiously.
"For a sleepover. There's a small party later, so I won't be back until tomorrow." She said nonchalantly.
"Aren't you thirteen or shit? You're too underage to be partying," Kylen raised a brow as Alison scoffed.
"I turn sixteen next month, bye." She laughed.
"Interesting. Are you still a virgin?" Russell tapped his fingers on the counter.
"Me? No, I'm not." She simply shook her head and I gasped loudly.
"What the fuck? Does Mom know you're already having sex?" I looked at her in disbelief as Kylen and Everett laughed loudly.
"She does. I told her a long time ago, even Dad knows." She shrugged carelessly as I covered my mouth.
"You are the definition of fucked up Alison, honestly. I'm turning eighteen but I'm still a virgin—"
"You don't have a social life, girl bye." She mocked as the boys hollered. I glared at them and they immediately stopped.
"No, I value my body and respect myself enough not to give my innocence away at an immature age." I smirked at her.
"Sure. Anyways, my friends are here, excuse me." She squealed before running out of the kitchen.
"Do you see that Chubs? You're old-fashioned, indecisive, get Kylen to fuck you already. Make babies, make mistakes for fuck's sake." Russell raised his voice as Kylen shook his head with a chuckle. He was thoroughly amused by his statement.
"You make me sick, all of you. I will not be having any babies at this age, my Dad would kill me—"
"He wouldn't give a damn. Anyways, I think you're one of those special ones in the generation, you deserve a ring for taking care of yourself," Everett gave me a fistbump and I smiled.
"You see? Thank you Everett. I bet you lost your virginity at thirteen Russell," I snickered.
"Good guess. I lost it at fourteen," Russell gave me my plate full of food as I shook my head in pity.
"I plan on keeping mine—"
"OMG IT'S EVERETT OAKLEY! JENNY, IT'S EVERETT, YOUR CRUSH!" We heard a screeching high-pitched female voice. The boys immediately rolled their eyes as I laughed mockingly.
"Fucking hell," he muttered under his breath as some girls walked into the kitchen.
"KYLEN! OH MY WORD KYLEN I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!" A girl ran to hug him while the other two stared at Everett.
"And Russell, I literally have all your pictures in my room. I'm your biggest fan!" One squealed as I rolled my eyes and got ready to leave.
"Can I please be your girlfriend Kylen? I promise you that I'm good in all aspects—"
"I'm taken. My girl is over there," he pointed at me and I resisted the urge to look shocked. Kylen shrugged her off and I watched as the girl gave me an envious and venomous stare.
"Let's go upstairs baby, the bed is waiting," Kylen bit on my earlobe before kissing my neck.
He gave me a wink, signaling me to play along and make her jealous. In the process I couldn't help but shiver, my gut flipped and it made me wonder why I'd react that way to my best friend's affection.
"Let's go," I giggled before taking my food and standing up. Russell and Everett did the same as the girls stared in disbelief.
"Where are you guys going?" One of the girls asked curiously.
"She's our girlfriend, we share her. It's going to be a foursome," Russell smirked as Everett and Kylen laughed.
The girls looked horrified and I only smirked at them as the boys followed me to my room. I placed my food on the table and so did they. My room had a eating section by the balcony so I wasn't worried.
"Don't you dare touch me, any of you, or else I'll call my Dad." I warned them as Kylen smirked.
"Your Dad loves me." He patted his bare chest.
"Yeah. He's cool with us, now, let's get down to business." Russell wrapped his arms around my waist including Everett. Kylen smiled down at me while stroking my cheek.
"You guys creep me out but, group hug!" I pulled Everett and Russell close first then Kylen joined.
I was the tiniest so I was sandwiched by their muscular bodies. An advantage to that, I slipped out of the hug as slickly as possible and now it was just them.
"You guys look hilarious," I laughed as they pulled away from each other.
"Fuck you Chubs," Russell sucked his teeth as Everett and Kylen made their way to the balcony.
There was a perfect view of the pool and fresh green trees below, giving it a refreshing effect. On the opposite side I had my window which faced Kylen's.
"Aww, I love you too, thanks." I tiptoed to hug him and being Russell, he hugged me back.
We then joined the others and soon, we were eating and laughing over some hilarious jokes. Their laughs were equally funny and I couldn't help myself.
They were such great company and I loved being around them. I never felt out of place with them unlike most girls, maybe because we had been together for more than five years.
"My aunt thought she was going to get me. I opened the cage for my dog and he nearly tore her to shreds." I squealed in shock before cracking up again at Everett's story.
"I remember when that dog chased me around the yard when I was twelve. I think I still have the bruise from falling," I pouted as all of them laughed.
"You're a sad case Chubs, the dog was harmless—"
"That's because he liked you. He was vicious with other people," Kylen spoke and Russell shrugged.
"Hmm, I guess you can say that, but she's naturally a coward." Russell gestured his thumb at me.
"What the actual heck?" I stare at them wide-eyed as they exchanged high-fives.
"I'm not a coward, I can prove that." I stood my ground.
"Aha! Well in that case, each one of us owe you one dare. If you're not such a coward, you will abide to the dare, or else they'll be consequences." Everett smiled widely and in my quest to prove that I wasn't a coward, I blindly agreed.
"Bring it on bitches," I leaned back in my chair.
"I'll use my dare first," Russell raised his hand and I gave him a challenging look.
"Yeah?" I raised my brows.
"Go and kiss your best friend, on the lips for fifteen seconds." He smirked and I once again looked horrified.
"Are you crazy?! What—"
"We can make it thirty seconds if you like, I thought you weren't a coward." I scoffed before shaking my head in disbelief.
I faced Kylen, who surprisingly looked elated as he leaned back in his chair. He was facing down but I could see the tug on his lips.
"Come on Alora, prove it baby girl." Everett shook hands with Russell.
"Fine. I'll prove it boys," I stood up confidently before walking over to Kylen. I shocked them by courageously straddling his laps and putting my arms around his neck.
Without thinking, I placed my lips over his and began kissing him, and he didn't hesitate to kiss me back, if anything, he was enjoying the kiss more than me.
I felt the odd butterflies flutter in my stomach as his mouth moved skillfully over mine, his hand rested on my ass.
His lips were soft and plump, it was easy to get carried away with him. I couldn't help but internally marvel at his delicious taste and professionalism in the kissing sector. He was my best friend, but I felt oddly turned on.
Russell and Everett were cheering loudly as we finally pulled away, and for a sassy effect, I licked his bottom lip, bit it then slowly let it go as our mouths left each other. They both hollered even louder as I got off his laps and went back to my seat.
"Wow! I didn't think you were that freaky Chubs," Russell widened his eyes at me and I simply shrugged.
"It goes deeper than that," I winked as he whistled lowly. I glanced at Kylen and my heart skipped a beat when he licked his lips then made eye contact with me. I avoided his gaze and faced the other two jerks.
"Bro, you've got gloss on your mouth now," Everett smirked as I rolled my eyes.
"I know, it tastes really nice."
